Yesterday's win has seen the Magpies rise up the ladder continue. With Newcastle losing they remain stuck on 6 points. The Vulcans copped a flogging from the Bears which sees them drop behind us on for and against (88 point turn around!). If the doggies scored an upset against the Storm then we're in 5th place!

The big win has also worked wonders for our +/-. We've gone from -78 to -20. Unless the Eagles have also put 68 on Windsor we've got the second best attack in the comp (4 behind the Bears). If Balmain leak more than 43 then Wenty will jump us, but 264 in 8 games (33 points per game) shows we have the strike power to test anyone. It's the defence that's been killing us and we've gladly handed over the title of worst defencive side in the comp to the Cobras. Windsor might have also jumped us if they let Manly in for more than 27. Balmain would need to cop a 70 point flogging to jump us so they should be safe for another week ;) .

Trying not to get too excited. After all we had a three game winning streak last year too. But when you think that after 5 rounds we were sitting last it's an impressive turn around and the players and coaching staff deserve congratulations. It's even more impressive when you think all three wins were away. Hopefully plenty of the the fans come out to cheer the boys on when they return home to take on Wentworthville.

6th it is. Storm beat the Doggies pretty convincingly.

There was one surprise with Windsor beating the Eagles 17-16.

Manly will drop back to 4th if Wenty win, and the Bears have cleared out to 4 (or 5 if Wenty lose) clear in 1st. and to think we had em on toast in round 1.
