Annual Fundraiser to Support Junior Development The night is being held on the 24th July 2009 at the Roma Function Centre Northumberland st Liverpool. Cost is $95-00 per head which includes 3 course meal, wine, beer and soft drink. The Magpies actively supports the young people of the Liverpool / Macarthur region not only through the game of Rugby League but in a broader sense by providing them with lifestyle choices, a sense of community and responsibility and an opportunity to pursue a career path which will provide them with opportunities into the future which otherwise may have been lost to a wayward lifestyle. The Magpies are equally driven by the desire to provide our players and support staff with the best possible environment in which they can develop their true potential and realize their dreams of playing rugby league at the highest level. Relax sport, just spoke to Harvey and I'll be ordering my ticket off Tracy tommorrow. Should be a bonza night and I hope more of us can make it out because a table for two is a little bit too intimate! |

Am promoting it to the wife as a night out without the kids.Just wondering how long will tickets be available?And if there is going to be entertainment or anything I can promote the event?Will be keen for some black ales with you fellas as well.

Crikey, I'd thought there'd be more of us going. Bruce and his wife might be at our table, so that makes four. Come on Magpies, get along to a bonza night surrounded by the Wests faithfull. It's always nice to go out and have an evening with fellow Magpie supporters. If it's only the two of us, I'll drink with you Andrew, but don't go asking me for a dance! |

Another good night put on by the Magpies. Everything from the venue, food, entertainment and company was sensational. A great speech by Skando talking about what it means to him to be Magpie. Highlight of the night was the junior footy players dance routine, it brought the house down. If the boys had moves like that on the field they'd never get beaten! |
