Glad to see everyone is on the same page about the points system. But stop complaining until your clubs are willing to do something about it. Oakdale are the only victims of it, at present. |

We need to look at the bigger picture here. Both Easts and Oakdale are in a unique situation compared to the other 50 odd teams in the comp. One has an attached bundy cup side the other has no jnrs. No other teams in the comp are in the same situation regardless of their grading. Besides these two clubs and their issues, the rules and player points are seemingly working for the majority of the teams competing this year . In saying that these are isolated issues that both clubs need to work thru , i understand Oakdale are at present so maybe Easts need to also. I dont see other clubs on here complaining about their circumstances in relation to points and rules and there are a few from different clubs who participate on this forum so it must not be that bad then. With Easts in reasonably good positions on the ladder in grade,(6th- First Grade, undefeated in reserve grade and 3rd in 3rd grade)at least it shows that the portability and points system is working to a degree doesn't it???I understand all games are called of this week and this weeks round will be replayed the following weekend as no footy was scheduled for next week. Tell them the truth Brownie, they cannot use Res/1st grade players because of the colour cards, so since they have Bundy called of they are using Bundy players against Bowral, Sammy Hoare will run the team out and Dunley is at half |

I hope you guys are only kidding about Bundy players playing third grade, If it is the case that they do play Bundy players I would hope that the group 6 and campelltown commitees come down hard on them as it is far from being in the spirit of the game. |

Well then easts should focus on bundy cup then if points are continually going to be an issue with the combined comp it wont change so you guys just have to live with it for this year at least. For their reserve grade to sit undefeated after 9 rounds and their first grade in 6th and their 3rd grade sitting 3rd it just shows me they have depth to be competitive without resorting to utilising bundy cup players , which they are allowed some anyway as i understand under the portability rule. Thats just my opinion. |

As far as I know a Bundy Player must be dual registered to be eligible to play in the A- Grade comp. Bundy comes under NSW RL and if they are not registered in the local competition also they cant play in it. (Well thats what it used be and I dont think the rules have changed have they) |

Disco Stu, We are only concerned that 40 points for bundy & NRL bundy should be 25 or 30 point player i just cant see why they are 40 points there is no way you good stack a team under the 300 points as it is just doesnt seem right but i guess the answer is a pinapple

Disco stu, the sad thing is, our club may be forced to take that avenue next year, this is not what we want to do, as our goal has been to give Campbelltown a good rugby league competition, we understand there has to be a point system but we have already had to let go a few players because they are now worth 40 points, these players won't get picked up by other group 6 clubs and end up in Canterbury or Parra, |

Blue Devil may be you should change your name to Red Devil I hear Robbie Farrah had a blinder in that game and may get a recall. Edited by Maverick, Jun 7 2010, 02:51 PM.

Blue Devil - just so you can sleep at night - send a couple of those 40 point players that no body wants down to All Saints JRLFC. All Saints are well under the 300 points and will give them a run. If they are willing to drive to the Parramatta or Canterbury competitions than Hillier Oval will even be closer. |
