Depends on the games 200 average, 500 upwards if its a local derby. |

It depends who and where you are playing, some Campbelltown sides don't travel or have a big support base, and certain clubs have the support base you don't want at your home ground, this will take time and money for Campbelltown sides to produce this culture after they have had the competition that they have been dealing with for many years, the council also needs to support this so spectators have the basic needs to watch league, shelter, bars, amenities, cars able to park around ground, look at the grounds and wonder why it is hard to get healthy crowds! The Oaks really blew there chances, and Mittagong took theirs, It was unreal to see Mark Lowe score 2 tries, after a long lay off from the game, this former southern division player was a great player for Oakdale and is now trying to resurge the oaks. Narellan didin't turn up at all, it was a very poor performance from them, and if the player of the year comes from their side it will be an even bigger travisty than last year. Well done to Picton, they are under the radar a bit, don't forget they are defending premiers. |

Well done to Oakdale, they are the team to beat, would of been a far better specticle if the ref had let it flow, and been fair and consistant! He loves East Campbelltown, his done a few of there games and had massive penalty counts against the Eagles, saying that Oakdale deserve the win and will be hard to beat! |

As a long time supporter of group 6 rugby league I was pleased to see a couple of good games of footy today down at community oval, Moss Vale. For 60 minutes today Mossy put forward their premiership credentials with an excellent defensive display, the last 20mins however was a worry for the dragons as the roosters mounted a great comeback after they seemed down and out. Would have been interesting to see if the game was played elsewhere.. In the other clash East c'town started like a house on fire and seemed to catch the workers by surprise, but the longer the game went oakdale asserted their authority on the match even though their execution at times seemed a bit off. In the end a hard fought, but comfortable win. With only 1 loss all season it seems as though the workers have a lot of self belief this year even after the controversy earlier in the year with the stripping of their points. Easts v Mittagong next week and Picton v Thirlmere..... Easts will be to big to strong for Mitta I feel, but Picton v Thirlmere should be an interesting encounter! |

looks like Oakdale had a good win over the weekend, how did the returning players go? David Lowe, Ty O'brien, Glynn Bester? this weekend Thirlmere should be far too strong for Picton. The entry fee into games? a family of 4 something to eat and drink and your down well over $100 ( Price to see NSW Cup a lot less!!!!!!!!!!!.) With the economy charging ahead at 100mph folks have huge amounts of cash to throw about. |

I have to agree that a day out at the local footy for a family does hit the hip pocket a bit, the cost of living has and will continue to go up in all aspects of society whether we like it or not it seems. My mail informs me that Sunday was the first time all year that Oakdale were close to full strength with only their five-eighth Leon Kier missing still with a leg injury. Bart Masters played strongly off the bench in his second match back from injury. David Lowe was strong as usual, the fullback Ty O'Brien has been out for a number of weeks will be better for the run as will glynn Bester who served a 5 week suspension. As for the Thirlmere v Picton clash, I reckon this will be a tight local derby. Thirlmere certainly have an edge in experience with Carlyon, Dynevor and Rae bros, While the magpies boast some quality younger players in Poisel, Dreeves and Eckler - it sets up an interesting encounter at Narellan on Sunday! |

My tip is Picton to beat Thirlmere and Easts to smash Mittagong.
