I have heard that 2010 grand finalists, Moss Vale and Picton have not and will not be recieving their deserved prizemoney.... I think its 5 ODD GRAND FOR WINNING the premiership, apparently the reason is because the money was used in relation to the hire of campbelltown stadium, insurance etc.... If this is correct and I'M not 100% sure it is.... What a disgrace! Those clubs are entitled to that money regardless of any other expenses, poor planning?? or budgeting... from what I hear the Moss Vale club is furious..
I dont know where you get your info but Moss Vale have recieved their prizemoney. As for Picton well I dont know ,but if Moss Vale have been paid im sure they would have also. As for being furious :dunno: its moreso they are disappointed that the prizemoney this year is alot less than in previous years, probably the lowest in quite sometime, maybe due to the fact of the hire of the stadium. I remember back in 2008 Thirlmere got about 11k total for winning first grade and joint premiers in reserves, just goes to show how much prizemoney has dropped.

Blue Devil "mafia" thats a rather bold statement! actually i reside in Camden hence the name, i have voiced my opinion on the abandonment of the current comp i have always adopted an attitude of (no knee jerk) reaction to problems, judging by the few problems that have happened during the course of the year if matters had been discussed and handled jointly by both Group 6 and West a resolution could have been found.
Camden-nite you should nominate yourself for a position at the Group 6 AGM on the 8th November and turn opinions into actions??You seem to be knowledgable on conflict resolution and problem solving.
Wether the other Group 6 clubs share your opinion is another matter.
Why don't you nominate me ? i talk on your behalf and maybe some sense will come of all this.

Camden fellah, why don't you ask the club that you are from to represent at the group 6 meetings, what club are you from?

Apparently Picton are still waiting, it was because of a dispute between wests & G6, there was no contractual agreement between the 2 over distribution of funds, and they are caught in a bit of a mix up at the moment.
The Picton club has been assured the money will be paid

Using an analogy here it kinda reminds me of a marriage (combined comp) now turned messy divorce :fight: ,no prenuptual agreement  ,custody battle of the kids(clubs), property settlement (disbursement of funds)etc. thats probably what happens with an arranged marriage, not really knowing the other partner. :letmesee: Lets see what the magistrate(CRL & NSWRL) has to say. :finger:

Well given that in past presentation there is ackowledgements and awards given to senior player's one would think it would be a fair question.

And no i am not stiring things up, or having a go, try being a player today and have all this uncertainty surrounding the comp, i would have thought invites to Group 6 would be a start, but i guess that would be forward thinking and not allowed by you.

I have been reading this stuff about the combined comp. All the players I have spoken to in Group 6 are all in agreement (from accross all the clubs) to go back to a true Group 6 Competition. They are all sick and tired of the two sets of competition rules. Re player points Group 6 players remain on full points until 4 seasons however Wests got 2 point players if the played the previous season. How is this an even competition. They need us we dont need them

Sounds good to me

My Mail is former group player of the year Chris Browne will return to the Rams for 2011.

And Mitta will anounce some decent signings early in the new year!

Also heard there could be a "Bargo" club forming for 3rd grade!

don't quote these are just stuff ive hear around the traps!!

Hey E.A.S.T, I don't know which player you are of our club but well said! Just be careful on this forum, I would hate to see you get 7 years for speaking your mind, you know the godfather of the Campbelltown Mafia is watching and they are not Hardly Smart

I think everyone should face it, the combined comp is over, clubs and people need to move on. Good Luck for 2011

I like young Browney, but him winning in 09 & Baker this year, it just shows how flawed the 3-2-1 system is from the refs.
I'm still seething at Baker getting 2 points against Oakdale when we absolutely trounced them 50-6. If you recall he beat Todd Pes by 2 points.
