Sorry fellas Wests have only got a senior league because they merged with group 6 otherwise they would have nothing or albiet a very condensed local league as it was 3 years ago. To have southern group 6 sides travel to parramatta, penrith districts is not what the merged comp was designed for. fellas, if its going to ever go that way, a big push will come from many group 6 sides to play in the Illawarra league , which still encapulates the bush spirit and within a easy drive for those, that have to play the game!!! :nono:
I don't think Clubs from the Southern end would look to the Illawarra comp as the standard of the Carlton league is Much higher than Group6/Wests ATM maybe clubs in the wollondilly could as there close to Illawarra region But the Highlands would look to group 7 which Robertson snrs are in and Moss vale have had thoughts of playing there. I think if Parra Clubs came in id say those clubs would explore there options which could trigger the other highland clubs who knows?

Was talking to a member of Robbo and they just cant see themsleves competing with clubs in Campbelltown thats why they dont want to return. Its easier for them to drive down the mountain and play the likes of Greenwell point then say a Mounties or Mac fields.

I don't think we should worry about the likes of Mounties joining the competition, I won't happen but the sad thing for Rugby League is why are clubs having this problem, would you like it if it was your club left out to dry, and why? Because they have become successful! Other clubs instead of whinging should try and step up to be like a club like Mounties, I don't see Campbelltown Eagles with massive Leagues club backing and they hammered Mounties in Bundy last week, people should stop worrying what other clubs have and look at building there own club to match the successful clubs, We don't need to stress about Mounties coming it won't happen!

I think its time to run a reserve grade in the bundy or a super league type comp that plays before the bundy i.e if you cant afford bundy play in the super comp below just a thought what do u fellas think ???

A new Sydney A Grade is been formed and it may effect not 1 but 2 teams from the combined comp, how much it effects these teams in what capicity is yet to ne seen, the sydney A Grade will start in 2 weeks so Mounties will have a competition to play in, at the moment it is at 6 teams but will be looking to expand for 2011.

I know which teams they are but it remains to be seen if they are allowed to leave considering the history between one of the clubs and the administrators.

I'd say "being allowed" to leave seems to be a little strenuous at best. Surely the competition would be administered by the NSWRL
