So with the venues, will Titans play at Jamison Pk, will ESA play at Eschol, and Minto play at Sarah Redfern? does everyone have a home and away basis? And do I have to pay to get in? When does the draw come out and What has been happening at the senior meetings, what new strateges will you come up with to enhance the competition?

Who would be favourites in the West Comp this year, and a hypethitical Question, would anyone in the West Comp match the likes of the Roos and Eagles, would you have them in your comp?

went down to campbelltown to watch wests and cronulla in H-matts and SG ball a little bit wet some good young kids on show but i feel that the kids need to learn to play as a team their is alot of individuals. SG ball shoud go back to the basics they have alot of moves that they cant pull off and alot of drop ball and alot of stupid penaltys. These are the teams that have been training for the last 6 weeks 4 nights a week. It could be a long season. good luck to the boys for the 2011 season. we are all behind you

Titans home ground is Jardine Park not Jamison. I heard Minto will use Ingleburn Bulldogs home ground at Milton Park for their Sunday games. Entry for Wests senior games will be $6-00 - same as last year. Senior teams nominations close Friday 4th March so draw will be released after this date. The Wests 9's tournament and a pre season competition were introduced to build enthusiasm. I'd imagine the Wests A grade will be an even competition but Titans seem to have a lot of hype. Realistically Wests teams wouldn't match the Roos or Eagles.

So if Mino are playing at Ingleburn, what happened to Ingleburn? Are they gone, and if so, is it only seniors or is the whole club that is gone, they have been a dominate force in A Grade for many years,

And what I don't understand, if those two clubs are superior, why is everyone up in arms to keep them in the west comp, Sounds silly, can you enlighten me on that one All Saints,

I would say one of the factors in them being so "dominant" is that they plan to play in group 6. Players from across the district that would go to other clubs, have gone there for the player payments and higher level footy. The real question is would they have the squads they do if they weren't pushing for group 6?

spot on coach. the roos and eagles wouldn't have half the squad in west comp all best players would've moved to g6 clubs

I admire all saints, bigshow & mad tiggas positivey but fact is wests a grade is a z grade always has been and will soon return to its 2008 state- combo of over worked commitees and crazy decisions
you can put makeup on a pig but its still swine, anyway good luck but I reckon had all saints and ESA joined easts and city it would all be back together now under different admin

Maggietillidie, you pull no punches, that's probably why you have Tommy as your avatar picture, but Maggie till you die, didn't Tommy play for Newton Jets Lol,

you are right in what you write and I have to agree with most you write, the question that needs to be asked, if you get a comp this year, does it have a future, what I see is alot of people trying hard to prove other people wrong, the words ego's comes up alot on this forum, the fact is, this comp never had a future in the past and it's only future was amalgamation with Group 6, I ask alot of questions, why? Because I try to get the people like Burner, All Saints and everyones favourite Madd Tiger to think what future this comp will have! I won't bag it, but will you 3 guys be around in 5 years to keep it together, you are up against Geographics of this area, decline in senior numbers, and that's Australia wide, and threats from other sports.

I see why Roos and Eagles are fighting for Group 6, they have looked into a crystal ball, you three may need to go to a fortune teller, or petition your board to get the combined comp together at all costs!

Maybe cause you refuse to accpet the skye is falling in!!!

The area is big enough to sustain a senior comp!! You have liverpool and ctown areas that have tripled in the last decade!! Its not the threat of other sports!!! Its the fact that its always had a nasty stigma of the standard of football being very thugish!!

In Group 6 this year we have been informed that onfield fights will result in send offs this year you may not like but the game is changing to a more family direction and being a father of 4 and with a son in the game im stoked!! If wests can weed out the trouble in the next few years lobby council to improve facilities the standard and numbers will grow!!

When i played in the illawarra comp i played a team called Northen suburbs they had a hill on one side and a kids park on the 50 meter area on the other they had bbqs pumping kids playing on the hill i remember thinking this is the best thing about rugby league. Then i see some of things i see last year and i seen the sport at its worst!

As soon as this season kicks off if the district police the comp harshly of thugery watch the numbers grow ten fold next season

The area has had to contend with the likes from Cabra, Mounties in the north and Group 6 clubs in the south, current problems with the parra comp at an A Grade level has seen some players return, but the voilance and thugery has been the downfall of the West Comp, hopefully West can control it this time, if they don't teams that are getting put together will fold throughout the season as this has happened in the past!

As done on the Group 6 forum, could a rep from each club or someone with the time post websites for the clubs in the Wests Senior comp? It would be great to be able to have a look.
I put a pinned topic in the group 6 forum with all the group 6 clubs websites. Once the wests jrl teams are confirmed i'll do the same here. :correct:

Maybe someone from the liverpool titans can provide their website once available also, as they are a new club they may not have a sportingpulse site yet.

Mate I played for Warriors in the glory years, when we were ctowns best club, the area barely could hold an a grade then. footys gone way backward since then in the area. I predict reserve grade wests is a fantasy they'll force sum reserve grade teams up into a grade and even make no.2 teams in a grade like they did to valley one year when they had two teams in the a grade.
by June there'll be forfeits a plenty, ctown stadium will be used as a central venue & the better clubs will be sick that they didn't fite when they could.
