Then don't watch. "You can't build what you never had"? That is a silly statement. YOu build something to fill a void that is left in a place where something of the like can be built. If you built when you already had something, it would be pointless!
I am sorry if you don't agree, but this is a building year. Warriors have a very young squad. IRSL have a very young squad. they had some missing, but also note that they also have a full reserve grade team. Warriors also had a few blokes missing due to other commitments.
At the end of the day, isn't it time to start looking at rugby league being the winner here? Wests juniors are amongst some of the best in NSW, and in the next few years, younger bloeks will come throguh and our A Grade comp will be much stronger. All we need is stability, and for the games to be clean, and if players don't cooperate with that, they will be finding themselves on the sidelines.
Couldn't have said it better. . Fencesitter, you don't sit on the fence, all you have done is bag the wests comp at every opportunity. RSL has a few 1st graders out at the moment, this is why they only had supposed 3 reserves, just glad to see that you could count, they actually had 4 or 5 on the bench. Fencesitter, I ask you this, do you actually know anything that is going on within the wests clubs, I mean do you really know anything? Or is it all made up and what you want to believe? If you don't like what you see, well then that is your choice, you don't have to watch, you're not 10 years old anymore, your a grown man who can make his own choices. That goes for anyone else who wants to be negative or spread rumours, don't, go somewhere else, it's not wanted or needed. Big Show was pretty much on the money with everything he said, so there was no need to attack him, the way he was. Be honest Burner, your side was below average last year, and what I seen Friday night, you had one bloke running around in board shorts, you had 3 on the bench and everyweek you have guys out, where is the commitment, I have not seen once on this forum Minto or Titans having players out for other commitments, you need to be honest!

They are running as different squads at the moment. Once the season starts they will fill in where needed, that an d 1sts wanted to run their own team to get some cohesion, they are using the pre-season as trials, like a few of the sides.

It's a real shame there are people that feel the need to come on this forum and be negative and have a go at clubs and individual players. It's fair to say that the vast majority of clubs involved in this comp would have been happy to stay in the combined comp, as it's been the last two years. Unfortunately for reasons beyond their control that combined comp is no more. These clubs have now been asked to build a senior comp and are doing the best they can to do so. It seems there are some people around that have some serious issues with Wests management!!! Guys if that's the case then that's your prerogative. Don't use this forum to have a crack at them by having a crack at the clubs and the people that are trying to do some good in the game! Everyone involved should know that the 1st grade Wests comp will not be as strong as group 6 and that's why some clubs have chosen to play there ( good luck ). But if the senior committees in Wests can work together there is hope to build a reputable comp over the next few years. Just remember Wests do have a strong base. In fact as far as the last two years in the combined comp were concerned, group 6 clubs had their back sides handed to them on a weekly basis by Wests teams ( 1st grade excluded of course ).

Appin sure did but have a look at there team 90% of them wests juniors............. eels, ask yourself why they were full of wests players, also camden played roos in a trial there were at least 7 players in collies shorts, ill ask you why is this.
by the way eels wests best clubs & players have gone to group 6 wheather it is because of quality, management or anything else you can think of, but they have gone & most will never return, how long will it be before the 2 clubs that are being forced to play & train in the group 6 area take there juniors with them, they may loose some junior, but they will pick up more than they lose, as they are being forced into the new growth areas of group 6, how do you replace one of the oldest clubs in rugby league, (roos) sorry you cant.
Ps: why would you not want to merge with parra, bigger comp, more competion, that would be better for the game than what you have now, isnt that what the games about, not the boards that control it.
go mino

Went to the reborn Wests A Grade, not impressed that's all I'll say!
what werent u impressed with sitter?
I paid $5 to watch this standard of footy, will not be doing it again, even if the old man wants to have a look, at least these clubs can try to get some sort of proffesionalism about themselves and there players, wearing board shorts for A Grade, common! What I seen Friday was below 3rd grade last year. That's sad No offence but, good..
Im sick of the constant bagging by the same people who are not even giving the competition a chance...
But seriously if you aren't interested (Which you've already stated about 6 times) then go and leave this forum to itself and the people who do actually care, cause really the negative comments are getting boring....

PS: are the wests comp having a points system for there players, or has this been abandoned due to numbers + a new club being admited & mino having a stacked side. didnt your chairmain say that you would have a min 18 sides not including roos or eagles, as this was publicly stated in the local paper.

Cat hasnt got my tongue... I and our club know the situation and thats all the matters, Has nothing to do with u...
what do you mean has nothing do with me, this has everything to do with the intergity of the game which is bigger than you & your club, a serious breach of the rules has everthing to with everyone involved in the game, to make sure things like this dont happen. If this is true about brown then your club is the one that has put a black mark on the game, your comp & your club. Tiger you dont know how i am or what club i am with so dont tell me it has nothing to do with me, serious breaches of the rules are everyones business because at the end of the day player safety comes first, when the rules are broken this will compromise the integrety of the game. If its true???
One thing is clear here, no matter what is said or what really happened, you have made ur mind up about the wests comp and every team in it.
Like i said we as a club have done nothing wrong and have everything to prove it, But as i also said, i don't need to show anything to you because it has nothing to do with u.
We KNOW we have no issues so we dont need to worry. END OF STORY....

Titans beat Minto 30-10 over 3 20 minute thirds. One Minto player sin binned, and the same player sent off with 2 minutes to go, other than that both teams seem to be building well

On a positive note - Three Reserve Grade trials ay Hillier Oval today. Only trials but Titans beat Minto, Fairfield beat All Saints and ESA beat Ingleburn. All squads had plenty on the bench. All officials I spoke with are positive about the 2011 Wests competition.

Remember - Trial games only - no premiership blazers handed out in March.
Ps. Sorry - for the record Ingleburn beat ESA.
