OK there seems to be a few misconceptions about the "play and train" and 4 sides situations:

1. 4 teams is a restriction Wests Juniors put on any new club, regardless of seniors or juniors. To be an affiliated club you needed to have 4 junior teams. This goes back years, and was a factor in Liverpool City folding when they dropped under 4 teams. It is also coupled with a rule imposing restrictions on transfers for the first year of any new club. The rule is in place to ensure that there is actually a need/market for a new junior club, and that it can sustain without significantly detracting from the other clubs player numbers.

2. "Play and Train" has little to do with CRL vs. NSWRL. The idea behind the "rule" (which as it seems is not a rule) was that if a club had a viable local competition to play in, thats where they would have to play/train. If there was not, then the team would be open up to play in any viable competition to them. In the case of the minto girls, there is no Wests womens comp - so they are free to do as they wish. Compare this with the Easts/City situation where there is a local competition in place. It's comparing apples and oranges.

But honestly who cares, round 1 kicks off today, so lets just all enjoy some footy.
if it aint a rule then it cant be enforced :finger: train/play ah love it
inglebye :worship: and WT made up comp yeah real viable
minno and titans are the only viable teams in the comp poor bludgers need some competition they should follow the shielas lead and go out the area and play in a viable comp and be true winners :winner: :winner:
if it isnt a rule, why is it imposed on us, why all clearances only put through on fri, why list so many as defaulters when that has to be listed at end ofg lastyear, why all of a sudden allow rep teams to play in comp, and what days do they train so we can go watch and are they there for 2 nights a week as required by geoff carr to call them local, it does all look like smoke and mirrors to prop up 1 and try screw another, 3 team comp aint right, let the ctown teams back to train and play and get more interest in local footy, im sure we can coincide side by side, we wont affect jl activities and they wont affect our goals so i say bring it on.....
That won't happen, too many egos is ruining the game at Campbelltown!
I am a rate payer and i will be damned if my money is going to a council to maintain a field used by people outside the district comp and if eagles and roos return in any form to there fields for sneaky training i for one will be straight out there with a petition to stop them rate payers will nto be helping you out
When will the people from Wests let go? It is over , you have lost the battle, Cant we just move on, The comp has started and Easts and Roos played today. Nothing you say or do will stop East and Roos playing in the G6 comp as they are already playing in it. There is no play and train rule which was discussed at the last NSWRL meeting and agreed upon by NSWRL officials. So who cares if you are a ratepayer? so am I. And my rates money says they can play and train wherever they like.
P.S I am neutral I support Wests and G6 which means I support rugby league but I am so sick of this petty squabbling.

This is what I'm talking about, Egos, have you thought that players officials supporters are al rate payers, and any team that wants to play Roos or Eagles, let's make it happen, get the best side from West and I'll tell you they will not play these teams, it obvious IDONTHAVEANIDEA you know nothing, can one person on this forum admit any team will play these 2! It's going to be a long season for JL as they are going to be named and shamed for what has happened in the Campbelltown area!

Cant even get the scores from todays Wests games, I put All Saints - ESA up and all scores are up on G6 forum.
From what I hear Minto got beaten and ESA got beaten and as expected WT won. where are the predictions now?

P.S if Ingleburn turned up to play WT today then thay no longer deserve the tag of Inglebye.

spot on theres 53 pages about the war and both sides havin a go
which is fine
but now youre comp has started you cant even give scores & a little report on the game
you're focus has all been wrong
Instead of putting so much energy into stopping east & city you people should have put that energy into making things happen for your clubs and comp
its easy now just to blame bd & the roos but go back thru this forum
they told wests they were gone in october

Well said now the battle is over the jl needs to move on as has the 2 clubs and be proud ctown is 2 strong clubs representing the area be it in g6 or any other comp
who cares where they train or play why is it such a big deal and the tactics by the jl just seems to want to disabanded the clubs for not obeying what the jl wants
i viable comp doesnt need a rep team to prop it up what other a grade comp has that :dunno: enough jibber from the jl easts and roos have 5 senior teams each wests jl has no 3rd grade so its not viable to the 2 clubs and just as minno womens have done theu went off and played in a viable comp so time to just get on with and everyone live happy ever after time to all get to gether and have a few to celebrate the 2 clubs new venture :drink: :drink: :drink:

Titans over Minto in both grades. Both sides looked depleted and had plenty of players out (always the case in Round 1 with Regos etc.)
Don't have the reggies score but it was by 2 points, A Grade was 42-22
