Well done to Oakdale congatutulations are certainley in order. It was a great game that could have gone either way but it went Oakdales way in the end. With only minutes to go (and 18-16) Eagles could have scored up the middle to go in front and almost certainly seal a win for them but a breakaway not regathered by Easts allowed a scrum feed to Oakdale and a few sets later Oakdale scored giving them the match. You could say the match was won on that bounce of the ball. I thought the Eagles had more attacking raids but Oakdale defended well over and over. Still well done to Eagles who were the best side all year but not today. |

They won my friend, they got a chance to prove themselves at a high level even with all the roadblock you put in front of them, they represented campbelltown with pride, our real representative side. |

Pardon me for spruiking, great day for the town and club. Great to see so many players go out on such a high. Group 6 belongs to it's original members, not the outsiders. Lol |

Dad told me today that a coach from Collies 2010 will lead your team into the Group 6 first Grade for 2012, how exciting is that, he will also bring some fine young talent from the Collies team that took ESA on in the Grand Final, is that correct Doggiesgirl? |

I thought it was the other way around Appin to Collies to be coached by de bono i think his name is If Appin do stay after winning 3rd grade 2 years in a row surely its time for the club to field 1st res in 2012 another year in 3rd grade and they look like just wanting to be mercinaries just wanting to win lower divisions.
