Just watched the action at Narellan tonight.
It's poor for the competition to have both Moss Vale trotting out a Reserve Grade standard side (Why was this?), and Picton nowhere near full strength.
But Narellan showed a lot more tonight than they did in the trial against The Oaks, they have something to work with it by the looks of it.
Narellan beat Moss Vale 20-0
Picton beat Moss Vale 14-0?
Narellan beat Picton 10-6?
Tomorrow @ Oakdale
Camden v Campbelltown City @ 3.30pm,
Oakdale v Easts @ 4.20pm
Oakdale v Camden @ 5.10pm
Easts v Campbelltown City @ 6.00pm

Moss Vale may of rested players after last weeks tough 9's at Kiama, the Eagles will be without, Dunley, Blunden, Bradstock, Neemia, Moustakas, Standing, and Eggleton, all these guys will be in the starting 13 but have injuries that need resting, no injuries are serious and most guys should be back next week!

Mossy proberly like Bowral had players playing in the cricket Semi finals we had a fair few miss yesterdays game due to that!!
16 man Bowral Went above coach Fishs expectations yesteday despite going to doind to VB runners up Mt Kembla in very humid conditions the lads went really well final score i think was 24 10. it was only fitness in the last quarter against a full bench which let the game slip!

Results from Oakdale today.

Game 1 Camden beat the Roos 10-4
Game 2 Oakdale beat the Eagles 14-6
Game 3 Camden 6-6 with Oakdale (but I think Camden won due to scoring the first try)
Game 4 Eagles beat Roos 30-12

Massive day at Oakdale on Sunday. Great weather, and fantastic well behaved crowd.
I didn't get a good chance to watch these games,
but the Easts v City reserve grade game was pretty fiercely contested. They will be 2 tough reggies teams..
Thirlmere v Oakdale went the way of Thirlmere.
Thirlmere had a few first graders running around, due to them being unavailable to play on the friday night. Leo Dynevor steered them around the park very well, and was just too clinical for an Oakdale reserve grade team.
After visiting Narellan saturday night, i think Sunday is the best day for this knockout.

Very good day again at oakdale great weather, footy and a few quite beers. Eagles look strong with their front rower and 5/8 the stand outs.
Roos looked a bit under done but have the the players to turn that around, thought Drew and brother weren't at full pace.
Camden have alot to be happy with lot of players returning to the club. A good win the first game and backed it up in the second holding Oakdale at bay good effort considering they were reduced to 12 players for ten minutes.
Oakdale have got a lot to learn I think with a very strong squad but looked like they were waiting for things to happen a bit to much and with the short format just ran out of time against Camden. Did notice they changed their halves from the first game to the second.
All in all was a good preview of the season to come can't wait.

In your opinion which halves looked better?
I think the halves will be decided upon this week.
And i thought exactly the opposite about Oakdale, i thought they tried too much against Camden, hence all the dropped ball.

Hi all this is my first posting on your very good forum, I agree that Saturday's games were abit dull but Sunday showed signs of good things to come. I have a couple of question that I would like answers to if possble, with Cambelltown Eagles and Kangaroos joining group 6 as newly formed clubs and not East Cambelltown and Campbelltown City as they were known, how are the point system going to be applied as they have no junior clubs as such in group 6, just like Oakdale? Wouldn,t want a repeat of what happened last season to Oakdale.

Of course there is an Affiliation process been put in place, I even hear both clubs are looking at relocating to new suburbs on the Group 6 boundry side, but what members from those clubs saying, they have had enough dealing with there Junior League!

why should they trust the junior league after the do-do theyve gone thru just to get better competition for there senior players junior league could put new clubs next to em & name em ctown broncos & east ctown cowboys & cost them there clubs
just like Mac fields, ing bullys & minno all soon to get the last rights from rsl tigers
which clubs in livo will go under to the titans? ashcroft cant fight cabra and titans forever. evu first to go under the Titan steamroller

Thanks Fence Sitter I can assume by your first response that you are aligned to one of the clubs,I am just seeking information I don't want to stir any muddy water. I can take it then that group 6 has approved the junior clubs to be affiliated to the two new clubs if so that answers my question, I think thats great for all concerned both seniors and juniors and football in group six in general.

Yeah right

Alot of farm boys in the mossy side and theyve been tied up with the robo show last weekend plus mossy show this weekend. Some are on holidays and others involved with cricket semi finals. They've only had 3 players from last years GF side playing in the pre season so far and probably be similar this week also.

I was told Sundays games this week may be moved to Friday night.
Can anybody confirm or deny this?

And why would anybody schedule the game's all the way down at Mossvale when Mossvale is not involved in any of those games?
