This whole train where you play thing is rediculous. Where's the common sense!
You are so right Galah, everyone says common sence will prevail, not in this case, we have to look at people involved in the game, are they involved for the good of the game, are they there for a free feed at the local leagues club or do they passionately love the game, Kangaroos over 100 years of Campbelltown History and the Eagles 50, why couldn't the West comp exsist with these clubs playing group 6, well reading the Wests Forum, it looks like the comp is all but over, because once it got down to 5 teams it doesn't constitute as a competition, heard that in a NSWRL meeting! The Wests Tigers A Grade was another team made just to get a comp, even though every thing about it couldn't work in this environment, it's just one thing after another to stop the Roos and Eagles playing in group 6, well it hasn't worked and the 2 clubs are over the moon that our teams/clubs are in Group 6, we can say we are passionate, that's why we are winners! & now there whole 6s-16 comp is a shambles for kickoff tomoro forfeits everywhere all cause they were to bothered with stopping some old men from playing seniors footy will u vote any wests clubs in bd or are you bitter they left youse and city to battle

And yes Ive seen the amount of forfeits and my 15's and 16's both won round 1 on foreit! That's Sad!

How do you explain to children that they cant play because adults cant get there act together, very sad.
Its 10.38 pm friday & i still dont know whether my kids are playing tomorrow or not.
things need to change as this is not good enough.
this is not bagging just a very concerened parent who believes all the kids have been let down.

i dont know whether trhis will stay or not but political correctness is not needed here, just plain facts, the jl is to blame for this whole situation, their perks and lifestyles have far out weighed the importance of league in this area for years and evryone keeps treading lightly, i tell em how it is oncwe and suspended for 7 years, that is what clubs are scared off and their inability to band together and stand up to jl because then their club gets persecuted so they all sit baxck and cop it, time to get some balls and boot this decrepid and hopeless junior league and install wolunteers that want to run the game, 90k a year to do this to our area, what a load of do-do

Quote: I find it very hard to understand why the Group 6 dont put more time into developing the comp in the Group district. It kind of reminds me of the the past state labour gov. I do understand that this comittee is a long standing one but I feel there not working for the clubs or there members. It seems that the easy way to build a comp is take the money off the campbelltown teams and welcome them to the comp to fill the quoter for a first grade comp year by year. But I think its time for reform.
what I would like to see is the bigger club pay a small % levey or pool and this would be invested into the smaller clubs that have worked very hard to field teams in the comp.starting from clubs like Warra,Mt Annan,Bowral,Robbo and Appin. Then we can start to introduce new clubs like Bargo, Buxton and Oran Park estate.so insted of 9 original 1st grade sides we have the protental to field 14 or 16.
wow what a comp. One of the true reasons we love the Group 6 comp is the conduct, players and the history. I feel any class players from wests will come to us as we have seen time after time. So the method isnt overnight but to start now. we have seen how wests reley on the Group 6 so lets unite and do this as a Group
