Hi all, this is my first post, i really enjoy reading the passion shown from individuals on this site. Many opinions about recent times and moving forward it would seem people are doing what is right for there clubs, i applaud this. I was lucky enough to see many games in the combined comp is season 2010 and feel it was simply outstanding. Well done to the Eagles and Kangaroos for there efforts to remain in g6, having seen some of your games your entry two years ago really created a massive amount of interest in the g6 comp. Its exciting at the prospect for 2011, my only drama will be as to which ground i go to each week as the footy will be great each and every week.

Lots of rumours or as it has been put trumours, i am sure each and every club will be working hard in the coming weeks, to ready themselves for what will be a thrilling year, and the envy of every other area. Memo to my wife, dont expect to see much of me in the coming winter, i cant wait!!!!!!!!
What you write makes our battle all worth it, you obviously enjoy the game as much as myself, It should be a great season and let's hope the Campbelltown Mafia stays out of it!

Hi E.A.S.T, well i do follow a team they made the finals last year, but i aim to get to as many games as i can, not bothered if it is at Moss Vale or Campbelltown just like to sip on a few ale's and watch some good footy, i am keen to watch your club again, from what the Trumours are saying you will be even stronger than last year, i also hear that you have a crack hot coaching staff, with exisiting 1st grade and 3rd grade coach and the inclusion of Damian Kennedy as 2nd grade coach, interesting times ahead for your club.

Well disco, i follow my team only because i live in that town, but i will say i will be following the Eagles in season 2011. What a great effort in 2010, i went to one of there home games and apart from not the best of ovals i enjoyed the day and the footy was a cracker on that day, two ovals running people everywhere. Be great to return and on a recent trip to campbelltown i seen that new stands and what looks like new sheds have been put in.

Can anyone tell me why there is no fence around there oval?

I could tell you were a champion bloke "League Forever" all I can say is that we have tried to fence in the ground, and we will continue to push boundries, we know what it takes to get our ground up to group 6 standard, a new Mayor will help

What's the mayor got to do with sporting fields, i guess the mayor should have went to your games this year and would have seen what i did, or perhpas the mayor should travel to one of our grounds in Group 6 and take in the atmosphere of game day. My friends up your way tell me you have a lovely art gallery worth a lot of money that they aint seen the inside of, interesting and now that i have just looked on the council website i see why, whats the average age of that council, geee whiz

Thankyou Devil and Warriors, i have been around for some time and i am sure both of you could remember back in the day of some great footy, you know back in the day of Liverpool City, even your club warriors had some awesome teams. 2011 no doubt is shaping to be a very interesting year for Rugby League in both our areas, i am not sure how west's comp is shaping but i know the G6 comp is promising to be the best it has ever been, i will kick back for now and rest my weary legs, tune the car up in February as the travelling will be great, i just need to decide as to which ground i go to first in 2011, oh decisions, decisions, decisions.

All the best for xmas everyone, stay safe, be merry and more importantly enjoy the time with your family and friends.

you got that rite league forever. we had awesome teams and were a true senior club. the Webster bros, butch keys, ben isaia, beeto. the club had to go to appin for better competition specialy when the a grade started getting run like a U/6s comp. the people who ran a 5 grade Sunday senior comp into the ground are still in power in wests, little wonder easts and city are fighting so hard with 3 other clubs watching on the sidelines to see what happens. 800 people would pack worrell to see our boys take Poola on.
Merry Xmas to all and in 2011 I'll be goin for easts in the G6 comp. a true warrior can't bring himself to support city.

Warriors the 3 clubs watching from the sidelines should have put there hand up went with the city/Easts when they did its a soft option to let them do the dirty work!

Mail down here is the 10 team 1sts and 8 team 3rds (Bulls still to be voted in) is final.

Congratulations to City / Easts for making it into the Group six Comp, there hard work & persistence has paid off,
now how many clubs will now try to jump ship.
Now that the draw is out City v Easts first round, rumor is that it will be at West Stadium on a Saturday night, is this true.
This would be a great start for the group 6 comp & for rugby league in the Campbelltown area, should draw a big crowd.

You are spot on Warriors, but very kind with your words. I know one thing i am very proud of the committee at the Eagles they have stood up for what they believe in and always in the best interest of the player's, being scared is just what and where those in charge want people to be. You sound like you have been around for a while and you would know how certain individuals are allowed to do whatever whenever and always get away with it. My club has stood up taken up the fight for the best interest of the game in our area, where has this got us, not far at all. Those clubs that are scared should remember we are all volunteers and should never feel like your back at school and what the principal wants the principal gets.

Great to here that it is pretty much certain that easts will be in group 6 next year. It is looking more and more likely that I will pull on the boots again. Getting to training will be a bit difficult. Looking forward to playing under Kennedy and yourself Blue Devil after the do-do we had to put up with last season.

Good call, we play City round one and if I remember you love playing those roos, it will be great to see you play in the Red and Whites for our 50th Anniversary season under some good coaching from Kennedy, already impressed with his pre season work,

It has been a while since I have posted something on the forum so I was wondering any confirmed signings for this season?

I saw in an earlier post that only one signing is on here and that is of Todd Tasker for Narellan. Hasanyone else got anymore info as it seems a bit to quiet when most deals would have been done before Christmas.

The web of steel (when it was on line) was great for this for the Illawarra comp, I can't see why this forum can't be the same.

I have heard, 1/2 bundy cup players are looking for somwhwere to play as bundy has collapesed,
heard most of these players are going to group 6 or 7, a lot of these players are wests juniors,
but they wont be comming back, will they.
My news is that no one wants to play in the wests comp & the 200 players that easts & city will
take to group 6, plus the fact that 3 other clubs also tried to go to group 6 prove this.
You will get a competition, but what standard will it be, do you want your own kids playing in
a second rate competition, good luck to the bash & barge compettion.
Fantasy league, with fanasy players, fantasy supporters & most importantly fantasy board, i
can go & buy one of you games for my x box. :drink:
