The Rammers snapped the 5 game losing streak against narellan.
20 points is the magic mark for a semi's spot.
Rams need to find an extra win this round.
Top 3 are almost home and hosed i think, atleast the top 2.

20 points?
From your reckoning i think there are only 6 teams in the mix..... but with Campbelltown City spending some more money they might be a hinderance to all the teams above them, but for them to make the finals i think they may need to win the next 8 straight.
The Oaks would also need to string maybe 6 out of 8.
It's a tough ask for anyone already outside the 5

Checking on the Camden Showground today, looks all good for a great clash of the 2 CAMPBELLTOWN sides, its local darby round so should see some great crowds on hand, my tips

Eagles to beat City by 8
Oakdale to beat Oaks by 16
Picton to draw with Thirlmere
Camden to beat Narellan by 18
and Mittagong to beat Mossy by 10

Should be a great weeknd of footy
That's almost spot on Devil..or as close as I seen it called
Holy do-do Blue Devil, you are a freak, I've never seen that in my life, you know your footy, can you tell us the future of Rugby League out Wests?
thats a funny question, depends who you ask, ask Bobcat and its all rosey, but ask the down to earth people like Footy Mum and its all over, If you look into my crystal ball, doesnt look good for teh area, 2 of teh best clubs have found a happy place, what do I care, ask me about returning and the answer will be, why would we! we have a fenced in ground with a Grandstand, good crowds and our guys get to play great contests everyweek, our 18's havent missed a game, how many games has ESA 18's had this year? so young fency, in a few years you will know more than your Dad so you can get your own answers and pick your own scores! :correct:

How has the quality of refereeing been?
I think the refereeing has been ok, if you look at the high standard of games and the closeness of the competition, wrong decisions could affect the winner of the game, and thats where you get issues, you wouldnt have that problem would you uncle charlie, pretty easy to referee 80 nil score lines

Everyone knows how I know people and they know people, and thier people know people in Camden Council, well them people have told me that Mt Annan have applied to have Jack Nash Oval fenced in, Camden council obviously sees the good of this as it will help against Vandlelism but the positive for Group 6 is it will help another 1st and Reserve Grade club form, add that plus Warragamba, Appin and the MacArthur Bulls as 1st reserve Grade clubs you will be possibly looking at a 14 team competition, and probably the biggest in the state, I wonder if G6 will allow the 2 clubs in talks to go over, I personally think they may have missed the boat,
WHO ARE THE CLUBS YOU TALKING ABOUT
I hear wests are going to pay player registrations for all their senior teams next season in the hope of getting more teams..and are offering clubs incentives to join their comp..does anyone know more?
didint they do that for bulldogs already this year what will appin go to the west comp next year doggie girl if you cant get a 1st grade together :dunno:
our club pays our regos we got some good sponsors :correct: most g6 clubs would be the same i reckon
why would Appin go to wests I was just saying what I heard & asking if any one else heard the sam

All refereeing is done at there best ability, if you are trying to stir something, leave the refs out, I'm sick of the do-do we cop! That last incident was enough for me, I wont gear near anywhere near the JL to ref, you are right about Minto, bugger if I would like to referee them!

'Silly mistakes' cost match

BY SEAN CUNNINGHAM

http://www.camdenadvertiser.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/silly-mistakes-cost-match/2203012.aspx

Posted Image
Long reach: Matt Jones stretches out to score Camden's first try. Picture: Sean Cunningham

NARELLAN scored the first try in the opening five minutes of their derby match on Sunday, but Camden replied with eight tries to run out 42-6 winners.
Narellan started brightly with Fred Misi bursting through two Rams players before Ben Baker collected the ball to go over for a try in the Group 6 first grade rugby league clash.

The Rams led 14-6 at the break, but ran away with the game with a dominating second-half performance.

One of Camden's best on the day Matt Jones, made great ground with his bustling runs from dummy half.

Camden coach Mark De Ubago noted dual-try scorer Nathan De Groot also had a solid game on the left side.

"We've been working hard with Matt at the dummy half position," De Ubago said.

"If he doesn't make good yards then he's not doing his job, but he did great today.

"It's really important for us to win this one.

"We've struggled a bit with tries coming from down our left edge and we've been working on that, but I think we've fixed that problem now with Nathan De Groot there."

The Rams halted their losing streak and although De Ubago has been continually frustrated with the team making basic mistakes, the future is not all doom and gloom.

"We just have to stop the dumb errors," he said.

"We started the season off great but all of a sudden they've been creeping in.

"We're not a bad side we just have to stop the silly mistakes."

Completing nine out of their first 10 sets, Camden frustrated the Jets — a ploy that gave Narellan less time to get speedster Ben Baker in the clear.

"I was very happy with Tyrone Hadfield and Chris Browne and Adam Marshall both fitted in well in the halves, considering Chris has missed two weeks training with his work," De Ubago said.

"It's good to get a win again, but we've got The Oaks at home next week and that'll be a tough game.

"We need to win at least three from our next four games to give us a chance of making the finals."

Camden's tries went to Nathan De Groot (2), Paul Neville, Matt Jones, Shaun Cohen, Aaron De Silva, Mahn Darley and Ben Weir.

Campbelltown Eagles too good for City Kangaroos

22 Jun, 2011 12:00 AM
http://www.macarthuradvertiser.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/campbelltown-eagles-too-good-for-city-kangaroos/2203410.aspx

CAMPBELLTOWN Eagles defeated Campbelltown City Kangaroos 34-26 in their Group 6 first grade rugby league game on Sunday, in a day which was dedicated to the Men of League Foundation.
After the local derby match, the Eagles sold the one-off gold jerseys they wore during the game, with all proceeds going to the Men of League Foundation.

In front of a large crowd at Onslow Oval, Camden, both sides scored six tries, with the Eagles' goal kicking the difference.

The Kangaroos trailed 18-16 at the break.

But the Eagles extended their lead and put the result beyond doubt in the latter stage of the game to remain undefeated.

In other grades, Campbelltown Eagles beat Campbelltown City 39-18 in reserves, lost 38-20 against Appin in third grade, lost 36-20 to Kangaroos in under-18 Division 1 and lost 22-10 to Appin in under-18 Division 2.
