We had that Ref vs Appin(I think) he likes to blow his whistle but went both ways he did a pretty good job we thought!! Being in Thirds we cant expect to get the top line refs which even though is frustrating is understandable as they need to be in 1sts calling the big games

3rd grade is slow enough without constant penalties being blown and your right you get the bottom of the barrel and when its going one sides way its hard to not conceed points and have players get fustrated which leads to them being binned we dont expect the best refs being in 3rd grade just consistency with penalties going both ways ive watch alot of 1st grade this year and have seen teams get caned as well by certain refs some of the play the ball penalties are petantic and 3rd grade most blokes take 10 minutes to get up anyway off the ground, id like to see 3rds flow more and be more social no need to police as much as 1st and reggies bar head shots and what not.

Its interesting the coverage you get from this site. I just looked at the U Tube site and from that 1 link I put up a couple of days ago, 82 people have viewed the video to date. And this is the only place you can get the link. Gives you an idea how many people are reading this site. |

You should put more footage up Mav, Tries, hits conversions from the sideline on the bell, etc etc etc, any publicity is good publicity, promote that game son! and look at the quality of the game, that was about 15 minutes to go and look how fast our big forwards are still getting back, and lining up a big hit, he was lucky Blunden got there first, "Mazeen the machine" was about to send him back to the chicken coup Blunden sent him back anyway!

do a youtube search on group 6 and a few things come up Games this week The Oaks v Picton on Saturday night, If The Oaks are holding onto a small glimmer of hope of making the semi's their run has to start here. I think they might just steal this one. Eagles v Narellan....... Coming off their first loss i think the eagles will be looking to make amends for last weekends mistakes.... write your own score. (In favour of eagles of course) Mittagong v Camden. I watched the corresponding game in round 1 and Mittagong were by far the better team in the first half but didn't get the ball across the line. I can see this one being very tight. Maybe Camden Roos v Thirlmere, tough one. I don't know about the roos, but Thirlmere are tough to go past, Oakdale v Mossy. Oakdale are majorly depleted. They picked up a heap of injuries in the mittagong game, not through it's physicality, but just poor luck. If Mossy are going to get another victory, it could come here. |

Yeah that try was pretty impressive. The link for our channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/MrYesgary From what i've heard Picton struggled to get over Narellan last week, and now a loss to The Oaks. Edited by tc6_11, Jul 2 2011, 10:20 PM.

Because the game was changed from Ashcroft, we headed over to see City Roos V Thirlmere at Camden Showground, i have been there before watching the Eagles play, but City moved the fence line right on the Ground, what an atmosphere, what a crowd, what a game, once again dad was right, good choice dad, Dad ended up having too many beers and Mum had to come and get us, so no one touch the XR6 Falcon left at the Showground, The Roos gave it to the Roosters, but a late surge from the Roosters give them a chance at the end, but City held on! Reserve and 3rd Grade games just as good |

Good to see Bowral competitive. I remember in 09 when we were in 3rd grade with you, weren't the best side but you blokes showed up and we had a lot of time and respect for you. Plus good to see more sides giving Appin a run.

Big day at Oakdale. Watched Div 2 18's first, with 1st place Warragamba giving it to their main title threats Mt Annan. If Warra couldn't be more than competitve in Div 1 there is something wrong, i think it is poor to have them in div 2. Then Warra gave it to Mac Bulls in 3rd grade, the wheels really fell off the bulls, and i think that they have their work cut out to bounce back from the 48-6 drubbing they recieved Watched Moss Vale beat Oakdale's reggies. For some reason Moss Vale played 6 first Graders in Reggies, including Martin, McDonald, and Champion. Then Oakdale win First Grade 38-12. The game was tight in the first half and Mossy had 11 players from their GF winning side, so no more excuses for them. Edited by tc6_11, Jul 3 2011, 09:37 PM.
