gee is it just me or a bit of bad disipline follows the appin team?
? have had one player suspended this yr for 1 week and very little trouble throughout the previous 3 years. sure there are other clubs with much worse records than that
Appin should move into the weste comp! by the sounds of the way they play and the amount wigning they do, i dont think they would'n be out of place! Good to see bowral give em a run for there money tho!
Appin gives back what the Campbelltown clubs dish out, why are clubs so intimidated by Appin??? Next year will be back to a combined comp sorry a comp with all teams from both comps and a executive officer to run it, its what arl nrl crl want, the position has been advertised and Im sure will be discussed at the next meeting on 14 July and yes I hear JL will be applying for the job I also heard a Eagles member will be running for it as well..I suppose we will hear all about it soon.
You sound like you support a combined comp, when clubs voted wasn't it unanimously voted by Group 6 clubs as NO! and who is the JL person running for the job and who is the Eagles person, I did hear something about that itchy fellah getting offered a job,
I support group 6 but I think the executive want more teams there..Jl is Julie Luke and dont know who from eagles only heard someone from their club..Im only telling you what I heard it does not mean its gospel..only time will tell
So are you saying there will be a combined comp and JL will run it?
omg I hope not..I am repeating what I heard..if that was the case I would give footy away for ever..would be a nightmare...I will stand by group 6 and their executive but never her...we dont need any more Ctown teams in the comp its big enough as it is... So it's only rumours, gunna say not even Dad heard that rumour,

Jamie answers call to rep side '

Country calls: Jamie Szczerbanik in action earlier this season against Oakdale. Picture: Sean Cunningham
CAMPBELLTOWN City Kangaroos front-rower Jamie Szczerbanik has been rewarded for his fantastic performances with a place in the Country Rugby League Seconds representative team. After strong performances in Group 6 games and a standout game for Group 6 against Group 11, Szczerbanik follows in the footsteps of Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens, who was the last Kangaroos player selected for Country in 1983.
Szczerbanik said it was a massive honour to be selected among all the players involved in bush football throughout NSW.
"I'd like to thank the boys from City and Group 6 reps, it's only because of them that I got selected," he said.
Kangaroos president Heath Attard said Szczerbanik's selection had justified the senior club's decision to play in the strong Country Rugby League Group 6 competition which provided players with the chance to earn selection in rep teams and gain CRL's highest honour. The match up against Queensland Country in the Outback Challenge will be played at Woodville Oval, Uralla on July 23.

Dean Britt to take on Queenslanders in Country Rugby League under-18s http://macarthur-chronicle-campbelltown.whereilive.com.au/sport/story/dean-britt-to-take-on-queenslanders-in-country-rugby-league-under-18s/

CAMDEN Rams player Dean Britt will be the only Group 6 representative running out with the Country Rugby League under-18s team against Queensland this weekend.
The 17-year-old, of The Oaks, caught up with his Country teammates for the first time in Coonabarabran yesterday.
The players will train and bond for the week before they take on the Queenslanders on Saturday.
Britt, who plays for the Rams under-18s as well as St Gregory’s College’s ARL Schoolboys’ Cup team, told the Macarthur Chronicle on Friday he was looking forward to the game.
“The Queenslanders are good; it should be tough,” he said. “Mum and dad and nan and pop are all coming to watch so hopefully I’ll play well.”
The son of former Western Suburbs and Bulldogs stalwart Darren Britt, Dean is aiming for an NRL career himself.
And this first call-up to Country representative duties will do his chances no harm.
Britt, a lock, said he thought his consistency during the local season had contributed to his selection.
His school team was also on a roll, winning back-to-back Metropolitan Catholic Schools’ titles just weeks ago and is still in contention in the national schoolboys’ competition.

Come on Maverick.
I want to see some highlights from Eagles reggies too.
Just watched a bit of it.
Had to laugh at the no 12 for Eagles in the first clip. Will be sure to give him do-do about it when i get back from Adelaide.
And Matty Blunden would have do-do himself when he hit that hole. Wouldnt know what the hell to do.

He (Jarryd) wasn't laughing, he was out for the game after that and the Narellan guy split his eye open. It was a pretty good clash.
And if that ball from Matt doesn't get a touch from the centre the winger scores in the corner. Oh well back to the front row.

yeah but did he play the majority of his juniors with you? His been at our club for the past 4 or 5 years at least, he signed with and the Roosters but was told by the Roosters would he like to go back to his Junior Club, he done that last year but never got a game at the Roosters, his done the same this year but has been told by the Roosters his services wont be needed. Tom Played in our Under 16's Team 2007, he played in our Under 18's Grand Final Team 2008 and our Group 6/Wests Under 18's Premiership winning team in 2009, he played a lot of Reserve Grade and 1st Grade for us in 2010.
and how good was it that they finally named Jaryd Hayne an East Campbelltown Junior in the State of Origin.
