Went to the Jetters game. Jetters well in control especially when up 36 - 10. Ben Baker has spped to burn and got the Jets home with a 70 metre effort with about 2 to go.
City match reports now updated at:
http://www.sportingpulse.com/club_info.cgi?c=1-2396-114664-0-0

Bizarre game of Rugby League to say the least! Jets weren't in control lovin when down 38-36 with four minutes to play!
The Jets would have to be the quickest backline in the Group? Good move by Woodo to get Baker to fullback, brilliant and lethal back there.
Hey Orana, with gus gould axing alex melville from the panthers nyc coaching job wonder if he'll find his way back to the roos ????
If the Jets were able to kick goals they would have won by more, they missed at least 6 goals, made harder by the kickers taking it back a mile on each attempt.

The Jets were there own worst enemy by just ball watching Drew Dalton as he has got to be the biggest and slowest half I have ever seen, especially when he seemed to twinge his hammy trying to chase someone early, he just put on a couple of soft ones to keep City in the game.

I thought for sure City had it in the bag with 5 to go....
He has certainly taken Leppington City for a ride!!
He is almost as big as the Panthers coach

Both couldn't get City into the semis
Bobcat, Bobdown, whoever you are? My post was not a shot at CAMPBELLTOWN City as a club or Drew Dalton just a tongue in cheek observation as I couldn't believe the Jets didn't target him more as he was injured and when he had the ball the Jets just hung back and watched him control the game.

What the Roos, Eagles and Bulls have done by aligning themselves with the best comp in the area is great and the results are there for all to see.

I think you should just bother with the Wests comp mate. :finger:

Very good LH, I don't think I ever actually left!! :correct:
Got a few irons in the fire at the moment professionally, but will always help the City club where I can, particularly with such dedicated people like the Attard family so capably driving the club back towards its former glory.
When Julie took over as Junior Secretary in 2006, the Roos were on death's door with only 9 teams. This year seniors and juniors have a combined 22 teams, which is the most we have had in our history. The drive and passion of Heath and Julie are a big factor behind this resurgence.
And with all the positive press we receive from being back in the 1st Grade comp, this number is sure to grow again next season.
I meant no disrespect with that comment  , just seeing if you were returning in some capacity or looking to aspire elsewhere :correct:

Rnd 15 preview.......

Mossy getting the winning feeling back again with two in a row over camden & picton . They take on the high flying eagles who just got over a tenacious mittagong side last week. Mark delamont has been missing from the dragons since the last time these two teams met so is it coincidence since he's been back they have strung two on the trot ?.The game is at moss vale and just quietly the dragons are a side blue devil is very wary of as he has told me in the past.

Narellan take on The Oaks at The Oaks, should be an interesting game with Narellan too finding some winning form especially their win over thirlmere recently. Could go either way but will tip the tigers in a high scoring affair (weather permitting) being at home by 8.

Camden take on the City roos with both teams being in a form slump recently. Could go either way but will depend on which team is hungrier on the day my tip the roos by 10

Oakdale take on picton at sid sharpe oval , probably would have been match of the round a few weeks back but Picton have been inconsitent of late and will be reminded of the 40 point belting the workers gave them in their first clash. Will tip the workers despite the fact they have a big injury toll. workers by 12.

Probably the match of the round going on form with Thirlmere being at home to the lions, last time they met the roosters prevailed by 2 points. One thing about mittagong this year is they have given the top teams a run for their money but seem to struggle closing out a game. I'll tip a more experienced roosters side to beat the young Mittagong side in a close one, Thirlmere by 4.

Lets hope the weather holds out and we see what eventuates.

How good has the footy in G6 been so far all grades :winner: and heading into the run home for semis will get even better :correct:
My club after 3 loses take on a rejuvinated Bowral mob on sunday as the pre match entertainment before Oakdale and Picton clashes in reggies and 1st and with Bowral having won 2 in a row should make for good viewing all grades at Sid Sharpe on Sunday - with some troops back on deck we are back to full strenght this week no excuses its time to show the sides potential and get back on the winners circle :correct:

BTW Bobcat great place to play and watch footy out at Sid Sharpe our boys cant be happier playing there

Bowral is a team that has improved greatly, they played great last week against our guys and played with plenty of spirit and determination. It will be a great game this weekend and its good to see the 2nd division playing good clean footy.

I think there was a get out of jail free card dealt to the eagles last sunday, the high definition clip really shows it up well! Take them when you can I guess. I have noticed you fullback Tovio has been missing? He injured or left?

Tovio, big loss for the eagles.
This means he can't come back because of June 30? Is that correct?

I don't know.... Whiteman seemed to have a good view of it, and the mittagong player closest to the ball (11) cops it sweet.
All that matters at the end of the day is that it was awarded

Dont quote me on it but Dad said there is a rule, if a player and club puts in a feeder arrangement with the premier league club he can play up at anytime and go back to his original club, happenes alot with N20's players, the player qualifications at the end of the year comes back to the 50/50 rule, Dad would know, his on the ball with that sort of thing!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought nswrl abolished dual registrations as a response to Canberra raiders dual registering their jnr & snr players in nswrl comps & qld & foggs cup?

I certainly dont think the Mittagong Captain should be commenting to the press lady that the ref should be in reserve grade next week for "such a blatant error" when most of us that have watched it in slow motion still are not 100% sure. Benefeit of doubt must go to the attacking side and his call is then a correct one. How many of you guys can pick any error when played at normal speed, the ref does not have the luxury of video to make a call and you have to give him credit for calling what he saw and not listening to the touchey. No one else was in a better position to see it than him.
