Foot fan i wouldnt buy to much into it mate trying to get young men to a function on a friday nite is bloody hard work!!
Mate when you loose a few heads drop training numbers decrease and players and staff commitment gets tested!! A few wins can always mend that! If Mossy finish the years strong it will put them in good stead for next season they have blooded a few youngsters this year which should help them.
Its pretty hard work for committee members of any club and times relationships can go off course normally a few good wins sort that out sometimes though it can cross a bridge of no return lets hope thats not the case
I hope your right it would be a shame to see it all fall apart now after last couple of years build up

good win today from our boys - with 13 men to start with then down to 12 after 8 minutes with a send off for the old 1 punch rule(even after defending himself) but hey rules are rules - boys ralleyed hard and pumped a strong full squad Bowral - credit to our boys best team effort all year  every player pulled out the shovels and had a dig  very proud of the boys today and thanks to Bowral for a good tuff game they will be a real force in years to come if they stay together :correct: well done boys heads up thanks for the contest

defending himself from what???

No excuses for today we penalised ourself out of the game and proberly put ourselves out of finals contention.

Might have to jump on the spuddies bandwagon now :agree: :agree:

What was the score in first grade ???
Oakdale 26 defeated Picton 24.
Picton led by 10 with 6 to go.
Ronny Jones scored a great try to keep us in the game, everyone in the comp bags him, but he keeps producing. Then Ben Fryer scored with 2 minutes to go, and Jamie Blewitt kicked the crunch goal to lead.

Dad knew this ages ago, old news Orana, if you need to know what's happenin in your club just contact my Dad, he'll tell you, he did ask who was the Pirates player though? He said it's probably something to do with your assistant coach Glen Debona, does he have a few collies boys heading over to the Roos for 2012? Gee signings of 2012 already!

Yeah, Ecky is fine.
My comment in the write up wasn't a crack at the player involved (I don't even know who it was), it was more about the fact that the ref acknowledged it was late by awarding the penalty, but we lost a key player for the final 30 minutes. Very tough situation.
I don't know what you're referring to about Schwartzy, but gee it's a big call to suggest Ecky has any dirty play in him. If he has I've never seen it.

Watching a classic match from '96 on fox sport 2 right now. Wests vs Norths. Numbers 7 and 6 for the magpies are the 2 best players I've seen in group 6: Willie Newton and Andrew Willis. I think it's the game where Willis kicks the field goal from half way to win the game.

Ecklers not a dirty player, he's probably one of the fairer players in the comp.
But i do recall an elbow that he threw in a semi final last year, that did connect.
It's neither here, nor there though
