Throwing a question out there with the referees and Group 6 applying the one punch rule do you think they will apply it in the Semis and Grand Final i personally dont think they will. Thoughts? |

How stricked they have been with the 1 punch rule, of coarse they will enforce it through semi/grand finals, I will be instruckting my club that it will be implied and if you do get punched, take a dive, he will surely get sent then! this isnt the UFC you are use to Charlie

........... better late than never, computer back working again. Two late tries save Oakdale BY SEAN CUNNINGHAM http://www.wollondillyadvertiser.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/two-late-tries-save-oakdale/2239368.aspx ![]() Top effort: Oakdale's Ben Fryer was not only good in defence against Picton on Sunday, he also scored two tries. Picture: Sean Cunningham OAKDALE snatched a last-gasp 26-24 win over Picton, in the only Group 6 first grade rugby league game to escape the wet on Sunday. Ben Fryer was the hero, with two tries — one in the final minute, sealing the win. Picton looked the better side until the final minutes, when Oakdale rallied to steal the victory with two late tries. Oakdale coach Brendon Reeves believes it would "maybe have been better" if his team had lost. "Then we might have woken up to ourselves," Reeves said. "We can't rely on coming back in games in the finals. It just won't happen. "Panic sets in, the passes don't stick and before you know it, you're beat. "We were pretty ordinary for 70 minutes of football. Picton should've had the two points but we'll take them." Reeves praised match-winner Fryer's efforts in the game. "Ben Fryer is one of the best defenders we've got and he showed what he could do in attack too," he said. Oakdale must improve or possibly face failure in the play-offs. "We have a long way to go and in a month it'll be time for us to put up or shut up in the finals," Reeves said. "If we play like we played today we'll evaporate in the finals. "We played into their hands. We were trying to score too often and throwing the ball around too much, not giving the opposition enough respect." Picton coach Mat Davies remains confident in his team's ability. "We let ourselves slip up in this game," he said. "We're playing a different brand of footy now. We have a much better attitude. "It wasn't our fitness that beat us, Oakdale just hit a good patch in the last seven or eight minutes." Nick Taylor, Alex Peters, Chris Young and Will Dreves scored tries for Picton while Ben Fryer (2), Graeme Martin, Nick Crouch and Ron Jones scored for Oakdale. |

Half time in first grade 14 all, regis went the way of the eagles 30-10 in a scrappy game, don't know what the 18's score was but was told the eagles won that too. |
