Oakdale smashing Thirlmere 34-14, with 10 to go, Oakdale will be hard to beat! |

A quick run down on the game, Oakdale didn't have Ronald Jones and I think they look better without him, Bart Marsters was back and he played very good, don't know if Jones was injured or sacked, PJ didn't play for Thirlmere, Oakdale look back to full strenght, they controlled the rucks and it will be a 2 point game against Eagles, either way! Picton will beat Thirlmere after today's efforts, Thirlmere didn't offer much, final score Workers 34, Roosters 18, good quality game |

Dad also found out at the footy today that Kangaroos club Stewart and Legend Alex Melvile has resigned for the Penrith N20's for 2012, having coach's like this involved in the Group 6 competition is great for the development of the game out here, it's another avenue where our 18's can get looked at! I know you where a big bagger of this coach Fatcat, what do you have to say about that? Congratulations Mr Melvile |

Geez TC that is one harsh assessment! I'm clearly biased but I thought that was a pretty darn good game. Absoulte nail biter. I think Picton's defensive effort had a bit to do with the lions not coming through with any chances to win. I'm pretty confident we'll knock the roosters off next week if we show that sort of commitment again. And with Nick Taylor and Kiel shephard wearing the 3 and 4 our strike power out wide is much greater than in the last few weeks. Good luck against the eagles next week anyway, should be a cracker game that one. I don't think I'll get there to see it, can't be bothered going down to Mossy. Oh, and that is the first I have heard of Poisel playing next week. I really really hope that you're right though, best playmaker I've seen at Picton in all my years. We've missed him. I'm neutral to both clubs last night, but I loved the game and so did a lot of people around me, don't think I'll be traveling to Mossy next week, will be a great game, after this weeks around the grounds I should get a commission from Group 6 |

Can anyone confirm days and venues for all semis next week? I've checked the group website but as expected the info is not there. I am dumbfounded that there is not a complete list of ALL games for ALL grades in the final series. Actually, I'll correct that, not at all dumbfounded, just very annoyed. |

It's not that harsh. I spoke with a fair few people that were there and they were all in agreeance. It was a nail biter, your guys did fantasticly well to hold on, but i think with the amount of posession and territory Mittagong had they should have pumped you guys. They lacked any creativity, and i think Ryan Powell should be running the ball, not playing 9. Chris Young & Bowers had great games though. Let us know about Poisy, im pretty sure he is playing. |
