What's the thoughts from the weekends games, Picton v Thirlmere and Campbelltown V Oakdale, it will be standing room only at Thirlmere, I think it will be the biggest crowd Thirmere sportsground will ever see, will PJ be playing? Should be a good weekend

I think the Campbelltown teams have lifted the interest in the Group 6 Competition, at least they have got people in Campbelltown taking an interest in Senior Footy, everyweek in the Campbelltown papers you can read all about Group 6, the coverage with the Advertiser is even better,

OAKDALE are just one game away from a Group 6 first grade rugby league grand final place following their 34-20 finals win over Thirlmere/Tahmoor on Sunday.
Oakdale will face Campbelltown Eagles for a place in the grand final. Thirlmere/Tahmoor take on Picton in an elimination final.

The loser of the Oakdale versus Eagles clash will play the winner of the Roosters and Magpies for a grand final berth.

Oakdale coach Brendon Reeves said the clash against the Roosters had been one of his team's better displays this season.

"We nearly put it all together today, it's the best we've played for a while," he said.

"We had 91 per cent completion rate in our sets in the first half and when you do that you can beat any side.

"We started to control their big forwards and they started to get tired, we stopped them getting a roll-on and we were good around the ruck.

"Thirlmere are a tremendous, very dangerous side, well-coached by Adam Sheppard."

Reeves admitted the finals victory would instil some self-belief in his players.

"The win is a step in the right direction, but we have to produce that kind of form each week in the finals now," he said.

"Our finals record has been abysmal in recent years so it's good to win one."

"The Eagles deserve to be the top team, they've had the wood on us this season and have proven they can tough it out."

Oakdale's tries went to Matt McCauley, Shane Valentine, Ben Fryer, Nick Crouch, Ty O'Brien and Glynn Bester. Thirlmere/Tahmoor's tries went to Richard Sykes, Mitch Brasington and Adam Rae.

Picton defeated Mittagong 6-2 in their elimination final on Saturday.

Should be 2 great semi final matchups this weekend. Picton I hear a struggling with a few injuries after their dour 4 point win last sat night. That and the fact the match is at the cockpit would sway me to tip thirlmere in a close game, maybe by no more than 10. The front row pair of youngy and bowers will have to be strong again if picton are to win this one. On sunday at mossy the seasons two top teams do battle again in the major semi. The eagles have been impressive all year and deserve the favourites tag. however history has shown that no matter how good you have been during the season, semi finals are a different beast and the workers looked good in dominating thirlmere, this game might be decided on who completes their sets more effectively, should be a cracker

Good work TC, how in the hell did you get reception, my iPhone just wouldn't work, what a night, Dad is blind, I seen the best football, Under 18's Narellan defeated the Roos, 30-28, Reserve Grade Camden defeated The Oaks 9-8 and 1st Grade Picton Defeated Thirlmere 17-16, look at the scorelines, how good is that for three games, I would love to know the crowd attendance, the Group would of made a packet at $10 a pop, wow the group even put on fireworks before the kickoff for 1st Grade, loudest bang I ever heard, I crapped myself! I would guess there was easily 1300 people there! Dad and I are going to watch the games at Mossy tomorrow, can't wait!!!!!
