this is so ironic when you consider the Wests Tigers would prefer the axing of the Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers from the NSW Cup to be replaced by a sole Wests Tigers team. Less opportunities for local players to play at higher grades of football. |

i just cant see how the WT a grade team will help the development of the player be it in a pub comp if these players are of that level shouldn they be sent to that level of footy i just think a WT bundy team would have been a better option for these players development and gives the area another viable senior rep team

I think this is a tough ask of the local sides. I am all for a 20s/Warriors side but throwing NSW Cup players in the mix is a bit too much. Somebody may get hurt, professional footballers V Park players. I would at least like to think that selectors would be out there watching these games and maybe giving some local boys a run if they are showing that sort of ability.

Guess we'll find out this weekend how we will go against them.. ![]() I was surprised myself when i heard that they were a mix of 20's and NSW Cup players.. The constant talk was they were 20s and Warriors players, but its a good challenge and people need to remember they only put 50 on RSL who had only 12 players to start... |

Can anyone believe that the West Tigers would do this? Penrith Parramatta Roosters and Bulldogs are all using Bundy cup as a development tool but the Tigers are using the local A Grade, (3rd Grade equvilant to G6) for there development, it will be interesting to see results at the end of the year, the last years we had Bundy cup we seen the results of many players gaining great experiance that helped them to the higher grade, Tim Lafai for one, it's a shame that the tigers couldn't support the Eagles in Bundy Cup and let the Campbelltown area down by letting there only Bundy Cup opportunity slip away. Some of the players competiting in this side should at least be playing Group 6 first grade! There fitness and skill will only harm the local comp but saying that, if they wernt there they wouldn't have a local comp. This is not bagging but saying the way it is! |

is the WT team a one year wonder or is this team hear to stay in the local jl a grade i seriuosly believe if they win the comp the other 5 teams numbers will drop off next season knowing they cant compete with the WT team who are of higher standard is there a plan for this WT team and if so what is the plan for future years to come and will it be in the local jl which in my opionion hinders these players development and we are a chance of loosing some of these boys if they are forced to play in a pub comp to other clubs WT need a bundy team for these players |

Peter Mullholland from Bulldogs has entered his fringe players in the Bundy Cup under the name of Bankstown Sports. They are getting smashed every week by the regular sides so is it good for them or should I say is it a good idea or not?

Bankstown Sports and Bankstown Bulls, should be one, you need a mix of N20's and marque players, the Campbelltown Eagles had that mix and we didn't get touched up, players seen the rewards, if Bulls and sports combined they would be both better off! |
