Well Mr Parra, it's called business, we invest a lot of money into our player such as club gear, regos and even gym memberships, we dont charge a cent so why we would we let one player take all the gear and then take off, have a look at out defaulters list and learn something, we run a tight ship, clubs like Mounties do the same, so if a player in your club signs up, gets the gear and takes off, you would release him, AS If, and with your comp, what I can't congratulate the five teams making semis, and don't blame me for your comp, blame the people that ruined the best thing ever, THE COMBINED COMP! Bussiness one thing you clearly dont understand is friendship, loyalty one thing money dont buy BD.. as for the gym membership dont exist mate thats fact..I dont have a problem with our comp mates, brothers club men wanting to play alongside each other..Are you the only club around who invests so muchmoney into your players
Ask your people who know some people and the answer will appear there are alot of people who put there heart and soul to do the same in the wests comp ,and you and your merrymen just want to destabilise it

Alright lads, from now all off field topics not related to games is to be posted in the Club House Thread. We'll try to keep this thread dedicated to actual talk about the footy.
Posts that don't relate to footy that are posted here will be deleted. I think that's the best compromise we can offer.

Agreed Robbo RSL are jokes but my old mate I will have an answer on 6th team tomorrow morn i will post as soon as i have it there was talk that bulldogs may get a a grade side, but its all up in the air should be sorted this week, also as for the a grade side pulling out off the snr comp this was the players who desided to walk out on the club and also the district who numerous people have gone out of there way to help that team.its not the reserve team or the u18s or the clubs fault that this has happened. i hope the comp still stays strong and its all sorted out asap as to many people have worked hard to get it all up and running from all clubs involved.

If ur ship was that tight then u would have signatures of players recieving such gear/extras but seeing as though I doubt u have much proof I don't think u'll have a leg to stand on. Funny thing is, wasn't it u who said once that u would never turn a player away? Good thing yes but why then would u force a player to play somewhere he doesn't want to??? we wouldnt make them stay and i think it was only transport that you got him, he recieved the gear and should pay, nothing free in this world

Like I said, a player gets the gear and runs, he can go as long as he pays for what he got! I think that's easy to see, he was just upset that he was benched for not turning up to training, again that's a tight ship, don't train don't play, you could learn something about that! Or he could learn you don't sign up, take all the freebies, play a game and not be seen, that's why a defaulters list was put in place! To save clubs from people doing the wrong thing, if your club wants him that bad and trusts him, why not pay it yourself? See if you like to lose heard earned money, Good Luck

I saw the warriors res grade game ESA should be filthy how do wood park rsl win a reggies game but can't fulfill there top team & they turn around a 50-nil floggin, please let's face it rsl have simply dropped blokes from 1s to reggies coz they can't compete and the rest is a smokes &'mirrors
Very true Warriors, I had a chat with my old mate who plays reggies for you guys and he tells me ther were at least 5 RSL A Graders playing Reggies RSL did not have 5 1st graders playing for their reserve grade side on Sunday. The entire side was made up of reserves players only. As for the turn around in form. For starters we played Titans who well and truelly look to be the bench mark for the reserve grade comp, secondly the boys had an off game against the Titans, and thirdly they have knuckled down at training to get their structure sorted out.
It was not the clubs idea to pull out of first grade, it was the first grade players themselves. As for where they go, i couldnt tell you. The truth of the matter is, reserve grade is exactly that reserve grade. The players that are there, are there as most of them are from last years U/18's, and lets be honest, you would only have about 5-6 that would be able to handle 1st grade, they will tell you this themselves.
The club does feel for the ESA guys that missed out on a game yesterday due to the 1st grade side forfeiting and on behalf of the club i apologise to the players of the ESA club, as no-one wants to miss out on a game of footy. So Mad Tiger, if you could pass on the apologies to the players for me.
As a club, obviously we are unhappy as to what has happened, and we lost out yesterday ourselves (money wise of course).

I wont name people or players on a public forum unprofessional dont u think??What is right is letting boys play the game where they want in what comp they want what person, organisation or club would deny a player to play with his family members and mates
At the end of the dayBD you are playing were you want to play and so are we y must you constantly bag out our comp completely differen apples and oranges leave us wests alone we want to play

Funny thing is, wasn't it u who said once that u would never turn a player away? Good thing yes but why then would u force a player to play somewhere he doesn't want to???
Like I said, a player gets the gear and runs, he can go as long as he pays for what he got! I think that's easy to see, he was just upset that he was benched for not turning up to training, again that's a tight ship, don't train don't play, you could learn something about that! Or he could learn you don't sign up, take all the freebies, play a game and not be seen, that's why a defaulters list was put in place! To save clubs from people doing the wrong thing, if your club wants him that bad and trusts him, why not pay it yourself? See if you like to lose heard earned money, Good Luck
He never took nothing just another one of your rubbish excuses not to clear another player, false contracts phoney gym memberships, you got them all real tight BD ask your people who know people,
I have the contract to prove it! So you must be talking about Fusi, I will scan a copy and send it to you, in my eyes you can keep that caliber of player, if he signs and doesn't commit, shows what integrity they have, make it easy, I will send you what you need, then see who's right,
I wont name people or players on a public forum unprofessional dont u think??What is right is letting boys play the game where they want in what comp they want what person, organisation or club would deny a player to play with his family members and mates
At the end of the dayBD you are playing were you want to play and so are we y must you constantly bag out our comp completely differen apples and oranges leave us wests alone we want to play Looks whos laughing, you can have your comp, didn't see my players getting a forfiet on the weekend, and our 18's have had some awesome hitouts, what's your 18's done? 4 Rounds and our whole club has been together, players are loving it so thanks for that, you can have what ever you've got!

Mad Tiger, I guess your very dissapointed with the forfeit yesterday, who will step up and be the so called 6th A Grade team to contiue the competition, and I see your 18's had the bye yesterday, have they had a game yet? and dont call the 88 nil flogging of hinchinbrook a game. Will they get a team in this comp to be competitive against them? or are you guys just happy to try and win the Club Champions? wouldnt your 18's be better to play in Parra comp which has happened to sides in the past that are to good for the area, did you get your SG Ball players back or did they send them to the Concord Warriors, dont take anything personal, just asking the questions. Nothing personal to you, just trying to answer some of your questions.
ESA are not just happy trying to win the club champions, and if they had of been offered the chance to play in the Parra comp they would of jumped at it.
I dont believe that they will get much competition against them this season for a couple of reasons.
Firstly other clubs are already saying that they will forfiet and not play them because they are to good and in my opinion its not showing much faith in their players and its teaching them that its easier to give up without even trying.
Secondly when the 2 campbelltown clubs took their juniors out of the west comp to play in another district they pretty much ruined any chance of a competitive competition as well as taking away mates that have played against each other for years. I suppose if they didnt take their 18's with them they would not have players to back up the reserves as they did last weekend.
As for the 88 nil flogging they gave, any team will get flogged if they come out playing with their heads down and gave up trying after the first 3 tries against them, watching that game was depressing for both teams.
People need to try and remember that these are still kids that just want to get out there and play good competitive football each week and most of that team have stayed loyal to ESA for many years, and as a parent it is sad to see their football has come down to this.
I thought it was suppose to be about the kids, sadly that dont mean much these days

Why do people think you can just send teams to different competitions depending on the quality of football? It has never happened before when a competition is played in the teams 'native' area. From what i understand, ESA 1's have enough trouble turning up on time at games 10 minutes away. Good luck turning up to games in the canterbury area or the parra area. It would not be the best for the players themselves. Funny that esa 1's have only had 2 games so far, one home and they were all there on time, and one away where they also turned up on time to play. and people should be able to think that teams be sent to different competitions if there is not a competitive comp available for them in their own district.

Well I am glad your players are loving it when ours feel like they are being punished for staying loyal and having some talent behind them.
