Why do people think you can just send teams to different competitions depending on the quality of football? It has never happened before when a competition is played in the teams 'native' area. From what i understand, ESA 1's have enough trouble turning up on time at games 10 minutes away. Good luck turning up to games in the canterbury area or the parra area. It would not be the best for the players themselves.
Funny that esa 1's have only had 2 games so far, one home and they were all there on time, and one away where they also turned up on time to play.
and people should be able to think that teams be sent to different competitions if there is not a competitive comp available for them in their own district.
spot on footy mum you should talk to your club and get a petition going to have the boys put in a stronger comp and its has happened before 18s have played in a combined comp with balmain st geogre and caterbury my young bloke played in a combined 18s with aschroft many years ago but knowing the jl they will not allow the esa boys to go as they will say they have a strong viable comp for them similar to what easts and city where told and look at them now maybe something that should have been pursued by esa as well

We've had enough. I just deleted 8 posts that were about off field topics. You want to talk about politics, or make suggestions, do it in the "Club House Thread" only!!!

We want to keep this thread purely about discussing the footy.

All right, the bulldogs are back! Isn't it round 5, who is the coach? Who have they signed? And who are they sponsored by? That's amazing, I have never heard or seen an A Grade form in a week! Is it really possible?

Liverpool A grade sides have bad day

On the run: All Saints Liverpool A grade team second rower Chris Hemworth on Sunday.

ALL Saints Liverpool Rugby League Club official Brian Harvey described it as "one of those days in footy".
Harvey was referring to the club's A and A reserve grade teams which were both defeated in round four of the Western Suburbs District Junior Rugby League competitions at Jardine Park, Casula by Liverpool Titans.

The A grade team lost 60-18 while A reserve grade were defeated 42-14.

"It was a hard day at the office, but that's footy," Harvey said.

"We didn't play well in both games, it's as simple as that.

"You have good days and bad days."

All Saints Liverpool return to home turf at Hillier Oval this Sunday, with A grade playing Ingleburn RSL at 2.30pm and All Saints A reserve grade tackle Liverpool Catholic Club at 1pm.

Liverpool's local derby - Titans conquer Saints

THE Titans can now lay claim to Liverpool after the local derby clash at Jardine Park on Sunday.

First grade rebounded from their round three loss against Eaglevale St Andrews with a resounding win over the Liverpool All Saints, 60-18.Two reserves bolstered numbers in a game that coach Scott Baverstock described as “the best they had played”.

Handling errors were minimal, with the Titans maintaining an 89 per cent completion rate in the first half.

“I’m not one to really look at the scores, but it was our completion rate that kept us so far in front,” Baverstock said.

“It was our ball control that put us in the position to win as many points as we did.”

He also credited the solid sets to a strong kicking game from five-eighth Wade Baverstock.

On Sunday at 2.30pm, the Titans play an undefeated West Tigers side at Worrell Park in Ruse.

Baverstock said the next game would give the Titans’ young players a chance to shine in front of the foundation club’s members.

The Titans reserves are still undefeated after winning their match against Liverpool All Saints, 42-14.

Coach and club president Darcy Brown said front-rowers Shady Kfoury and Bradlee Jessop created in-roads through the middle of the field to facilitate play on the wing.

“The front-rowers led the way by making the yards up the middle,” Brown said.

“They really made our backs look pretty.”

The reserves play the Campbelltown Warriors this Sunday at Worrell Park in Ruse at 1pm.

The Liverpool Titans, sponsored by the Leader, are looking for a volunteer with their own video camera to film all first grade and reserve games. If you can help out, please call the club on 0416 630 888.

It was a shocking effort from both saints sides. Didn't help that 70 percent of players across both teams didn't get home from the night before till about 8 am that day. We certainly felt it at training last night. My legs are still sore. We are definitely looking to make up for it this week.
