Peter Mullholland from Bulldogs has entered his fringe players in the Bundy Cup under the name of Bankstown Sports. They are getting smashed every week by the regular sides so is it good for them or should I say is it a good idea or not?
Bankstown Sports and Bankstown Bulls, should be one, you need a mix of N20's and marque players, the Campbelltown Eagles had that mix and we didn't get touched up, players seen the rewards, if Bulls and sports combined they would be both better off!
everyone agree with bd? what next????? :dunno: :dunno:
this time your spot on
tigers 20s & bulldogs nrl benefitting big time from your pathway
le fai kamuta innoesio im sure theres a stack more
now parra penrith dogs & chooks all copying your system

as much as wests g6 blewing surely g6 would be best for fringe nsw cup players
i had heard they had a feeder deal at kingsgrove colts for the magpies, anyone else hear this?

The Tigers need a Bundy Cup side. In the Bankstown sports side has been Nick Taylor, a regular at the Magpies & Bulldogs NSW Cup but can't get a look in this year so far. At least the comp is at an APPROPRIATE level for the quality of these players. :finger:

Although it is good for the Wests comp to have the side in A grade, will kill off the talent and they will go elsew here unfortunatley.

The Tigers are a mix of Wests 20's and NSW Cup backups...
mad tiger in your opionion do you believe the other 4 teams will compete against this rep team and do you believe the rep players will get qualitity footy that gets them ready for a recall to nyc or nsw cup
Guess we'll find out this weekend how we will go against them.. :) :)

I was surprised myself when i heard that they were a mix of 20's and NSW Cup players.. The constant talk was they were 20s and Warriors players, but its a good challenge and people need to remember they only put 50 on RSL who had only 12 players to start...
Can anyone believe that the West Tigers would do this? Penrith Parramatta Roosters and Bulldogs are all using Bundy cup as a development tool but the Tigers are using the local A Grade, (3rd Grade equvilant to G6) for there development, it will be interesting to see results at the end of the year, the last years we had Bundy cup we seen the results of many players gaining great experiance that helped them to the higher grade, Tim Lafai for one, it's a shame that the tigers couldn't support the Eagles in Bundy Cup and let the Campbelltown area down by letting there only Bundy Cup opportunity slip away.

Some of the players competiting in this side should at least be playing Group 6 first grade! There fitness and skill will only harm the local comp but saying that, if they wernt there they wouldn't have a local comp.

This is not bagging but saying the way it is!
first time i can actually say i agree with u BD nsw cup should not be playing in that side it should be a mix of fringe NYC and local players
Eveyone agrees with me! So no votes to let the Tigers in, no questions or restrictions, sorry if my club was against it, I would be jumping up and down right now, how is that good for your players and competition?

You dont need to jump up and down, your teams in group 6 remember .You should let it go BD and stop stressing about the wests comp.

If you beat them, Wests Tigers have some serious concerns, no Wests A Grade team should be able to compete with the future of Wests Tigers, if your guys where that good they would be at West Tigers! Am I right, surely people have to agree with me on that one, twice in one day would be a amazing! And yeh Mav, I will have to stay inside, my big head can't get out the door!

People are forgetting... They beat a 12 man (and that was at the start of the game) RSL side by less then 50 points...

Surely if they were the superstar side everyone talks them up to be then they should be putting way more on.

Im not saying they arent going to be the benchmark, but i dont think there will be as big a difference as everyone is making out...

and BD, if these guys were the future of the Wests Tigers, they would be in the NYC team, not playing in the wests comp.... Simple fact is they are backups for NYC and rather then have them sent out to individual clubs or sitting on the sidelines with no gametime they are all put into one team...

I dont see them as unbeatable at all...

Burner were you even at the game?

The tigers team scored 4 tries in 10 minutes and the first time RSL touched the ball a player got injured and the game was called off. There was 30 minutes to go mate.

After watching the tigers team no team will get within 30 points of them the only reason the score wasnt higher is that they were laughing out there throwing the ball around. But obviously at half time there coach got stuck into them and they came out and scored 4 tries in 10 minutes.

If Ingleburn forfeited the first time they got the ball how did they score 12 points?

Reading the local rag, I see an "invitation" was produced from Group 6, did any club take up the offer? With the WT team, Ingleburn struggling, I thought clubs would jump at this offer, Dad and I have always wanted the combine comp to stay, what's the thoughts of the West Clubs, have you discussed the offer, what has JL said about the offer? I'm surprised to read it in the Chronicle, it must be true if they have publicly wrote it!
