All Saints First grade defeated ESA by 28-26? I wasn't at the game so not 100% on exact score. I believe All Saints came back from abot 20 behind at half time. |

Your right All Saints 28 ESA 26. Good game to watch and only 1 sinbin, surprisingly. ESA 18/2's beat Minto 44-20, ESA 18/1's beat Mac Saints 66 - 0 I am not sure of the score but Reserves ESA went down to RSL. |

Well for a fact they put 52 on us and to be honest it was gonna be a hard game for any one but even harder for us as we have not had the same liberty of training since Feb like all others and only 3 training nights so as far as I can see Bulldogs did well and never piked out. We were never going to match that fitness with 3 trainings but VERY clear we have guts and kept with the other clubs who have played the WT. VERY proud of the dogs they showed a whole lot in this game AND this should not be taken from them by small minded people. |

Mate this is a new day and a much better and gutsier team and staff. To go down by 52 with only 3 training nights and no real time to test who can do what or train people who have never played . I say shame to other teams who have been training longer and the ability to know and did the same. The Bulldogs never said call it enough SO DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR US we are stronger for the opportunity to play the WT. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and question how does this help and suck it up as we did!!!!! |

Well done to both the Ingleburn Bulldogs teams for having a go at this late stage - the players sportsmanship and enthusiasm is to be appluded - both teams will improve in the weeks ahead. Their experienced coaching staff have advised this is a rebuilding year but their first win isn't far away. http://www.sportingpulse.com/club_info.cgi?clubID=19707&c=7-1126-0-111060-0From the All Saints JRLFC Sporting Pulse website - action photos also posted: A GRADE: ALL SAINTS 28 defeated EAGLEVALE-ST ANDREWS 26 Tries: Ahsam Galuvao 2, Henry Swann, Daniel Todd, Carlos Hafed. Goals: Peter Cashel 4. TO SEE ACTION PHOTOS OF THE GAME: GO TO: "MORE MENUS" SCROLL DOWN & DOUBLE CLICK ON: "PHOTO GALLERY" In round 6 of the Western Suburbs Junior Rugby League A grade competition All Saints Liverpool defeated Eaglevale-St Andrews Eagles in a thriller 28-26. The Eagles opened strongly and posted two converted tries to lead 12-0. Saints had several try scoring opportunities after good runs from prop Zane “Digby” Ioane and winger Peter Perez but failed to convert their chances. The Eagles continued to dominate and Saints fullback Sevao “Muscles” Stowers was forced to save two certain tries with his great cover defence but the Eagles prevailed and added two unconverted tries to lead 20-0. As the halftime siren sounded big second rower Ahsam Galuvao crashed over to open Saints account and lock forward Peter “Big Show” Cashel converted 20-6. Upon resumption Saints clicked into gear and were rewarded for their efforts when prop Henry Swann crashed over under the sticks, Cashel converted 20-12. Saints were now on a roll and hooker George “Gorgeous” Papura and second rower Charbel Rabie were making plenty of metres up the middle of the ruck. Galuvao added his second and with Cashels conversion Saints trailed 20-18. Aided by the sin binning of Saints centre Blake Harvey and a knock on from the scrum the Eagles added their fifth try to lead 26-18. However, Saints refused to concede and quick hands from halfback Warren Hall sent centre Daniel “Sweeney” Todd over to score and with Cashels conversion Saints trailed 26-24 with five minutes remaining. Saints could now sniff victory and worked play up field before a sweeping backline movement saw winger Carlos Hafed dive over just inside the corner post. Saints held on for a well deserved 28-26 come from behind win. In other A grade results Wests Tigers 60 defeated Bulldogs 8, Titans 50 defeated Minto 0. A GRADE LADDER WESTS TIGERS 12 TITANS 8 EAGLEVALE 6 ALL SAINTS 6 MINTO 4 INGLEBURN BULLDOGS 0 A RESERVE GRADE: ALL SAINTS 30 defeated INGLEBURN BULLDOGS 18 Tries: Phillip Holloway, Clint Coorey, Tai Marsters 2, Kaulola Tuipulotu, Anesone Key. Goals: Clint Coorey 3. Saints began well and were rewarded when lock Phil Holloway scored and fullback Clint Coorey converted 6-0. Saints were on a roll and added their second when Coorey scored out wide and converted 12-0. Saints continued to dominate and quick hands from five eight Warrick Wood saw centre Tai Marsters muscle his way over the white stripe 16-0. Saints ball control began to suffer and Bulldogs gained the upper hand to add a converted try 16-6 at the break. Solid defence from forwards Brendan Agostino, Matt Hanna and Talaiasi Ah-Hong halted many Bulldogs raids. The second stanza began well for Saints when a scrum win against the feed saw Marsters add his second 24-6. Saints were dominating and a great pass from lock William “Woody” Kawana put second rower Kaulola “Leka” Tuipulotu over to score 24-6. Saints were on fire and minutes later winger Sone Key busted the Bulldogs defence to race 65 metres on a weaving run to score under the posts, Coorey converted for Saints to take a commanding 30-6 lead. However Saints were over confident and poor ball control allowed Bulldogs to dominate possession for the remainder of the match and add two converted tries but Saints held on for a hard earned 30-18 win. In other results LCC 24 defeated Titans 18, Ingleburn RSL 44 defeated ESA 24, Minto 46 defeated Warriors 12. Mate, I don't feel sorry for you at all, totally the opposite, who in their right mind would enter a A Grade team in Round 6, you guys will get what you deserve, not ground work pre season, where other clubs have been doing the hard yards and you amazingly turn up, with no help from JL, not the way to run a senior club! Not the way to run a senior comp! |

It would seem not one team in the comp is is upset about having to play the the West Tigers, more all looking forward to the challenge. and lapping up the experience. As I said before you cant get that sort of experience unless you go there. The only people now bitching about it are the ones on here. Let it go guys the kids/men aren't complaining. The only question that is still unanswered is the Tigers and semi's? |

You know what fence yes we had nothing to start with but managed to pull not one but two teams late in, despite the G 6 do-do and people. Other teams are struggling and you come back with no way to run a senior team. Well mate we run it and WE front for our games even though we are way behind the eight ball and we know we have little chance but we still do it for the love of the game. SO what does that say??????????????????????????????????????????? Very easy to be critical but try it. Never say never as you all use so often. |

I beg to differ, I have heard some rumbling from players, but good question, do they play semis? Such a simple question no one can answer, probably another JL decision made at the 11th hour! |

It would only be a small minority that are complaining and If they are tell them to grow some bigger ones, Bulldogs aren't complaining and they got smacked today. |

You know fence I side with Mav and I am not sure on the Wt side but know it gives your players a real look at how hard it is and can make them stronger. |

All Saints give them a run for their money a few weeks ago and I didn't think we could play that well. And we may not play that well again (I hope so), but my point is that it brings out the best from your players playing against that good an opposition. And they must take someting out of these games.
