I'm sorry mate, just thought it would be worth reminding you that this area of the forum is for the Wests competition, not Group Six. Cheers bud. |

Call me cynical but while decisions are being made if West Tigers will play in the semi's, The Tigers side lose 2 games in a row. (Hmmm) The powers to be can now say the Tigers are a beatable side and should be allowed in the semi's. But they have not had all the 20s or State Cup players for some weeks that they used at first, and at any time they may come back to that strenghth. How strong a side will they field if they are allowed to play in the semi's? I "think" the decision has already been made in the Tigers favour, (I hope to be proved wrong) but if they do play in the semi's then they should be made to only play players that have been playing in the season regularly, with a minimum number of games played to be eligible, not one game wonders like Fifita, Groat etc |

Hmm capped at 8 players. So they could bring a full spine (1,6,7,9) A front row (2 more), and 2 Centres or Back row (totaling 8). Does that really affect their strength all that much? All bar the front row would be 80 minute players - and with the slower pace, the front row could probably manage as well. Do the Tigers players need to play the same number of games to qualify for semi's as the other clubs do? |

Just because they can play 8 players doesnt mean they will... The reason that they have only fielded a limited number the last couple of weeks is because they dont have the players available... They have lost alot of player to injury and have also cut a few players from the 20's squad who were deemed surplus... They will struggle to field the max 8 players from here on in i reckon... |

I read the forum more than I post comments, actually I have only posted a couple of comments ever, but I must say, I went to Worrell Park to see some local footy and what I seen was hard to take, it wasnt footy thats for sure! I watched Minto V Ingleburn and that would of been a great match up 10 years ago, but it was woeful, I didnt even stay for the entire game because it was an utter joke and was a very poor crowed, I see alot of people have passion for the area and supported the competition at the start, but I dont see that now and reading the comments on this forum, I feel alot of people have lost faith in what is going on, what is the future of Wests Juniors A Grade Rugby League, can anyone answer that? |
