Good call. But if as I suggested earlier that if these 8 players had to have played a minimum number of games to be eligble, then it could work OK. They had more than 8 last week against All Saints and lost but they were certainly not the same side as last time, when they had 13. But if an elite 8 were picked for the semis that were maybe not playing through the year then this would be unfair. Edited by Maverick, May 31 2011, 03:06 PM.

I was told the wests tigers told group 6 that the game is bigger than them and they should accept the terms on offer!! And that get this wests tigers would have a presence in the competition!!! im pretty sure BD would have gotten the same email run down as our lads got. Also heard if through there would be a boundary change from liverpool to mittagong. With us robbo and mossy shifted to g7. only a rumuor that one though!!! |

Maverick - All players to play 3 competition games to qualify for semi finals. If a player has not played 3 games due to eg. injury, a letter must be submitted to JL Board. |

being honest, I'm not really fussed, 2,4,6 or 8 West's players, we dont have to play them but the funny thing there is, with our Bundy cup side we never got any more than 4 Wests players at a time and that was enough to make us very competitive in Bundy cup, if they where to get 8 they should win it by 40, surely Warriors have 9 players of a decent caliber. Did Minto get there players back? or was Ingleburn Bulldogs that bad, amazing how Minto can forfiet one week and turn around a 90 point flogging the next, they must have a great coach! and Ingleburn cant expect anything more, no pre season, no recruitment and training, I feel for someone like Cameron that has put his life into the Bulldogs and for 3 years in a row they have had more than 90 points put on them. |

The email was passed around to all Group 6 clubs, its obvious after this year something will need to be done at a senior level in Campbelltown, the JL senior competition won't last another season thats for sure, and be lucky to last this year, please tell me if I'm wrong, and looking at the strenght of Group 6 clubs, makes you wonder what will happen in 2012? Tigers attempt to take over G6 maybe due to the threat of the Roosters getting the Approval for the Leagues club at Narellan. Group 6 has a proud history and a prosporus future! and will Roosters want to support that, with Steve Noyce being a local he could be pushing to get a huge junior base on the back door of the Tigers, just an opinion, dont get upset!

I dont know that The Tigers have much loyalty to their junior base anyhow. Look up the Tigers u/20s profiles and see how many are local juniors. When they were Jersey Flegg they were all local juniors. http://www.weststigers.com.au/default.aspx?s=profile-player-nyc Edited by Maverick, Jun 1 2011, 03:43 PM.
