So another football free weekend for myself and the boys, thinking about sending him to soccer. HaHa cant see me getting on with a bunch of soccer mums something has to be done about teams who forfiet week after week, although I feel for the other 18's who have tried to put in every chance they have had, |

Can't some of the boys get a run in reserve grade. Bit tough at first but most adapt quickly. |

You should be use to it, it won't be your last forfeit! I think your club had the opportunity to go to Group 6, but inexperience people running your club supported the JL and actually thought you would have a 8 team A and A Reserve comp and 2 under 18's comp, the people that have been around and my dad for one knew this would never happen |

Feel sorry for your boys footy mum , Bulls wiil be advertising for 2 18's next year a and b and given what has been dished up in the JL this year i can see us getting inundated with a heap of kids looking for a strong and viable comp to play in next year. The JL focus on easts and city as cost them the 18s and these kids will move on next year one thing my club can promise is viable footy each week for these kids that deseve better than what they have been dished up this year

You should go and check out Thirlmere where some of your old boy have gone, could be a good option next year, this year has taken the development of your boys backward, not the right age to be not playing footy. 20's around the corner and when these guys go and trial for 20's they will be out of shape, down on skill and timing. we all feel for you footy mum but your club has alot of blame to take |

I am one of the inexperienced people you refer to, and honestly I don't take kindly to a 17yr old assuming he knows what experience I have......I was at the meeting when all the other JL clubs put their hands up and said they would have the teams too make the competition but then did a no show when the time came. And as much as you keep saying we could of been in G6 this season, well please remember they dumped us in the first place not the other way around. I will be the first to admit that this comp has gone to the shithouse this season but I am not going to have my club or our executive made out to look like they don't know what they are doing by somebody just because their dad is some kind of god in the footy land in Campbelltown and knows everything. |

Our club has no blame to take for any of this. We supported our JL, along with all the other clubs in the area beside the 2 that left as we were told at the time G6 did not want us out there that we would have a viable competition to play in here. I wish our players who have gone to play in Thirlmere well, they are great kids and deserve to play good footy. But that does not mean that our club and our all our 18's were in the position that those players were to be able to go out there to train and play, unfourtaneyly this season we did not have the backing and money of some of the pubs in the area to be able to afford the luxury of taking all our players out to G6 and play. Most of our boys would not have been able to get out there to train twice a week to start with. I don't think blaming individual clubs or members is the right thing to do. I don't know about everybody else but I am here for the kids and in no way do I claim to be the most knowledgable person on football in this area but I work my arse off for our club an do the best I can and I really believe that if people keep pointing the finger at individuals about these sorts of issues we will lose people who give up their time to help run these clubs... |

Dont get on the offensive love, the thing here is that people believed the JL and the hype on the competition, History is a wonderful thing and that is why they teach it at schools, The numbers where never going to add up in the area and teh amount of clubs and senior players would never make those sorts of competitions and thats why i blame your club, simple maths! but you say Group 6 dumped you. you are wrong, group 6 dumped the JL on its head and its the best thing they have done in 10 years and if Dayball was still in the running, wests wouldnt of even been given a look in, he had a running battle with JL for years and we all can see why. Group 6 to date has NOT knocked back a Wests club, so your clubs management is to blame for not applying like the others did, Macarthur Bulls is a prime example, people thought it was Macquarie Fields management and where scrutinized at the Group 6 Meeting, they showed that they have the right people running the club and got excepted, your club could of done this but they listened to garbage and believed the do-do, I have read this site with great interest and read people from your club that bashed the bagged the other clubs for jumping ship, but I bet ESA turned on the crystal ball and had a good look at the future of the game, and the newly formed UFCRL is not in good shape. If Wests clubs stuck together like Group 6 Clubs you wouldnt be in this predicament!!!!!!!! |

We at Oakdale are striving hard to get an Under 18's for 2012. It's a great, well run, family club. Your boys don't have to pay rego, and they will have a game each week. The boys would be in good hands, look at our first grade results over the past 4 years. |

Great offer TC, your club has always been one of the strongest in G6, but I don't think ESA has a backbone to do something like that, would they take on JL, no friggen way! |

seriously wests is getting worse and worse, why wouldnt teams be forfieting when collies have got 11 rep players and esa have 4 sg ball players, this is a disgrace and wouldnt happen in G6. This is why wests needs to have a point system, this makes it seem really fair when esa are beating teams by 40 and 50 every week. Collies with 11 rep players lost by 40 agianst esa without their sg ball players, shhows an indication on how things are soo fair in that comp, thats why i left wests cause i see no point and going out just to get injured. |
