Makes you wonder why the JL knocked back G6's offer to have clubs come over under thier control as clubs like ESA wouldn't be in this position now - All JL had to do was hand over the senior clubs to G6 and concentrate on jnrs and let the seniors run under g6 problem solved, but egos and agendas got in the way and then you have to read dribble from tossers like bobcat on this forum about how viable the comp is going and will be better next year - fact is bobcat cashed up G6 clubs will take your jnrs -18's and senior players and the JL will only serve as a feeder comp to G6 who are going strong as ever and the executive position to run they G6 comp will stamp it as 1 of the best semi pro comps in NSW

Western Suburbs clubs I believe were blind sided by the g6 clubs on the decision to end the combined comp. that is what they were left to deal with. |

It was the worst kept secret!!! Multiple clubs had told the group (we are one of them) that they were going to defect to other groups if it contuined. It was never hidden no club was decived Every club in Wests had an oppotunity to join 2 clubs ran with it the rest did not so i wouldnt just blame us every club had a choice!! |

Minto had a few experienced players out whilst Saints played well. Saints reggies also played well to come from behind and keep their semi finals chances alive. Heard Warriors A grade beat ESA 30-28 whilst Titans as expected beat Bulldogs. VISIT THE ALL SAINTS WEBSITE FOR FULL DETAILS. A GRADE REPORT In Round 12 of the Western Suburbs Junior Rugby League A grade competition All Saints Liverpool defeated Minto Cobras 60-8 at Hillier Oval, Liverpool. Saints opened the scoring when winger Peter Perez finished off a great backline movement to score, Peter “Big Show” Cashel converted 6-0. Minto replied with a fine try 6-4. Minutes later second rower Andy Fatialofa busted the Minto defence and raced 60 metres to score, Cashel converted 12-0. Saints stretched their lead when five eight Carl Anderson scored, Cashel converted 18-4. Saints were on fire and determined running from the forward Bevan Salter and Ahsam Galuvao set the platform for centre Warren Hall to score, Cashel converted 24-4. Just prior to the break winger Blake Harvey scored, Cashel converted 30-4. Upon resumption halfback Thomas “TK” Kennedy showed pace and agility to step thru several Minto would be defenders to score under the posts, Cashel converted 36-4. Minto added their second 36-8. Saints threw the ball around and big prop Matt “Sauce” Hanna shrugged off a broken nose to back up a flying Cashel to score, 40-8. Saints were on a roll and centre Mick “The Bod” Rauth raced 40 metres to score, 44-8. Replacement centre Daniel Todd showed speed and strength to post two tries 54-8, of which Cashel converted one. Hooker “Gorgeous” George Papura rounded off the scoring with a fine run away try, Cashel converted 60-4. In other A grade results Warriors 30 defeated Eaglevale 28, Titans defeated Ingleburn Bulldogs. I was as surprised as anyone when I rang for the score driving back from Mittagong, Near ran off the road when I was told But as I have been saying over and over, do not underestimate the coaching of Alan Fry. I was with him in 2005 when he coached Moorebank Rams and after being beaten 3 times during the year by a massive Padstow Panthers side, they won the semi and then the Grand final to take the Canterbury Comp out. He then went on to coach Harold Matts and SG Ball for Bulldogs for 4 years, picking up a level 3 ticket on the way. The thing I think that is different from the side earlier in the year to now is that they now may be finnaly listening to him, and the newer players may be starting to gel. As far as Minto foxing, I dont think any young side would go out and let themselves get pasted like that on purpose. From what I am told they had a full side and bench. (Nadal was out but he cant be a 52 point difference) I am a bit surprised Warriors beat ESA, Warriors must have had 8 good Tigers in their side or the ESA Boys took them to easy I was just informed that Tigers dont have to stick to the 8 Tigers player rule in comp games, just the finals series

All Saints hitting there straps now, great to see the expert coaching of one A. Fry and B. Harvey leading All Saints toward an A Grade premiership, which would be there first I suspect Saint? I wouldn't write Minto off yet, always a big game club. ESA and Warriors also realistic chances. And what about the Titans first year in? Brown and Baverstock goes like Gibson & Massey. Reserve Grade comp will be won by LCC, All Saints or Titans. Top first up work by LCC in there seniors debut, gee they will be a great senior club in the coming years. I've heard they have a current Cabramatta player in the pipeline to captain coach in 2012. Ingleburn Bulldogs, Wests most successful ever seniors club. They will strike back in 2012 I predict like you won't believe. Not long until the semis now, how many sleeps Saint? |

ONLY 55 MORE SLEEPS TO THE WESTS A GRADE GRAND FINAL (TO BE EXACT). ALL SAINTS ESTABLISHED THEIR FIRST A GRADE IN 2001 AND HAVE FIELDED A TEAM EVERY YEAR TO THE PRESENT WITH STINTS IN THE PARRAMATTA AND GROUP 6 COMPETITIONS. NO PREMIERSHIPS WON BUT 4 GRAND FINAL APPEARANCES. WITH NO CLEAR CUT FAVOURITE AND FOUR ROUNDS TO PLAY THE WESTS A GRADE SEMI FINAL ORDER OF POSITIONS IS STILL TO BE DECIDED WITH THE MINOR PREMIERSHIP UP FOR GRABS. ALL SAINTS REGGIES UNDER ASTUTE COACHING FROM CHARLIE ALAM ARE MAKING A LATE RUN FOR THE SEMI FINALS AND MAY BE THE DARK HORSES ALTHOUGH THE DARCY BROWNE COACHED TITANS ARE THE FAVOURAITES IN THEIR DEBUT YEAR WITH MINTO COBRAS ALSO LOOKING LIKE THE GOODS. |

Dad says you will do what you done in 2006 when you vertually went through undefeated and then Ingleburn put 60 on yous in the Grand Final! but All Saints will go down in history for 2011 that they was the downfall of the combine comp, if All Saints went to G6 with the other 3, the JL would have had no other option but to give the seniors to G6 and the combine comp still together. All Saints may not get a premiership jacket but All Saints will get a wests Life Member Jacket, we all hope you warm next winter in Parramatta comp

Just a quick one fencesitter, what have you done to better rugby league? Think about that before you go bagging someone that is volunteering their time to try and keep a club/comp running!!!!!!!!! |
