I was just told that All Saints have up to 7 reserve graders playing today due to injuries and disciplinary reasons. And with Tigers playing Friday night I would think that they would have plenty available for todays game. |

Will see you there Saint, will be a great game and could well be the Grand Final preview. Checking the comp table but, if Warriors win they'll go into 2nd. So its a big round of matches for all teams. Hard to see a major semi final between Saints and Titans because of this. Well done to Darcy and his Titans. First year in and minor premiers of Reserve Grade, only one loss so far. Could they do the double this weekend and Toss' boys take the 1st Grade minor premiership? Two gun Wests coaches going head-to-head as well, Baverstock v Fry. No doubt the mind games have already begun. Weather's heating up and so is the footy, will be a great round of games this weekend. |

I have known both coaches for some years now and Fry is undisputedly the more knowledgable coach (I dont understand why The Bulldogs let him go or Wests did not take him on , but that was their loss). In saying that, Toss is no dummy and very passionate. I watched him take Valley to a Grand Final a few years ago, knocking over the more fancied Eagles side to get there. So it makes for a very interesting contest. Both sides have good ability, so to use a favourite "Fry" saying "the winner on the day will be the team that controls whats going on between the left ear and the right ear the best" Good luck to both sides (but go the Saints)

Ok, The moderating group has re opened this thread for those genuine people who wish to comment on the local wests comp. Its not perfect but it is what it is. Trial by media doesnt help anyones cause especially with what happened recently. We dont need people on here continually putting negative garbage on here with mafia, ufc references etc. The first person to do so will be banned immediately. It seems warnings and sin bins arent enough, even permanent bans people come back under other user names so closing this thread was the only option until we worked out a solution. We will re open the clubhouse thread soon , but will trial what feedback gets presented on this thread before we make that call. |

All Saints Liverpool demolish Warriors http://www.liverpoolchampion.com.au/news/local/sport/general/all-saints-liverpool-demolish-warriors/2245676.aspx ALL Saints Liverpool are charging towards the finals in the Western Suburbs District Junior Rugby League A grade competition. The Alan Fry-coached team thrashed Campbelltown Warriors 58-16 at Warren Ritchie Oval, Macquarie Fields, on Sunday. They scored 11 tries in a sizzling display. All Saints Liverpool are joint leaders with Liverpool Titans on 18 premiership points. The two teams clash this Sunday at Hillier Oval at 2.30pm. In A reserve grade, All Saints tackle Ingleburn RSL, also at Hillier Oval at 1pm. They need to win this match to make the finals. "Both the A grade and A reserve grade teams have played outstanding footy in recent weeks," All Saints Liverpool senior official Brian Harvey said. |

Disco, its hard to comment on weekly footy matches when incidents around the game seem to take the spot light, similar to the Daily Telegraph, there might be an exciting game on the weekend but the paper will put on the backpage some moron player getting into a fight 3 in the morning at Kings Cross, The wests junior League seems to have a similar problem, never write ups in the paper but individual stupidity gets the write ups wether here or in the papers and gets the game a bad name. Where are the games this week? the games are never in the paper, unless your from Liverpool, never talked about down the local Pub or Clubs or around the juniors of our own club. Its hard to build when again the wrong things are talked about. The lastest incident and we wont mention it no more, but a lot of people especialy at the Liverpool end are very interested to see what action will be taken by Wests Junior League, yes I got the Zero tollerance email and that email should of been distributed in round 1, why dont we have the1 punch rule like Group 6, can anyone answer that? |

Very poor local media coverage is a concern for WSDJRL, You would have thought the local newspapers would be right behind the WSDJRL's return to a senior competition and aid in promotion of the competition, Why has this not happened?? Do the local media know something we dont? Maybe the bad publicity generated from on and off field has hindered the local media from covering games and given how some games have ended it is probably a good thing that no local media was there to cover certain games. Lets hope the unsavoury incidents of late are done and the WSDJRL can get back to what should be promoted in safe/clean/family friendly senior rugby league as there are some concerns from parents and spectators regarding safety at grounds which is not how rugby league should be enjoyed. Best of luck guys
