SUNDAY 7 AUGUST - ROUND 14
HILLIER OVAL, LIVERPOOL

ALL SAINTS A GRADE PLAY TITANS FOR THE MINOR PREMIERSHIP

ALL SAINTS A RESERVE GRADE PLAY INGLEBURN RSL FOR A SEMI FINAL POSITION

11-30am UNDER 18's: ASHCROFT v COLLEGIANS
1-00pm RESERVE GRADE: ALL SAINTS v INGLEBURN RSL
2-30pm A GRADE: ALL SAINTS v LIVERPOOL TITANS
Will see you there Saint, will be a great game and could well be the Grand Final preview.
Checking the comp table but, if Warriors win they'll go into 2nd. So its a big round of matches for all teams. Hard to see a major semi final between Saints and Titans because of this.
Well done to Darcy and his Titans. First year in and minor premiers of Reserve Grade, only one loss so far.
Could they do the double this weekend and Toss' boys take the 1st Grade minor premiership?
Two gun Wests coaches going head-to-head as well, Baverstock v Fry. No doubt the mind games have already begun.
Weather's heating up and so is the footy, will be a great round of games this weekend.
You can't put Baverstock in the same league as Fry...please !!! Fry out classes him in knowledge and class...:winner:
Well I guess we will see this Sunday on who gets bragging rights :correct:. Going to be a great game

1st Grade Games this weekend.
Ing Bulldogs & ESA. Eagles by 44. All Saints & Titans- Saints by 8. Warriors & Minto- Minto by 16.
A Reserve Grade games
ESA & Minto. Eagles by 14. Warriors & LCC- LCC by 46. All Saints & RSL Tigers. All Saints by 26
Good luck to all teams. I'm going to watch Saints & Titans, will be a crackerjack game.

Bulldogs have pulled out of the last 2 remaining rounds.
interesting now the a grade comp is down to 5 teams - must say dissapointing from bulldogs to pull the pin at least the 09-10 teams that where getting beat well stuck it out till the end and against much stiffer opposition as well :correct:

Ah well I hope that's not the case. Bulldogs did very well to put a team together overnight and help the Wests competition stay together :correct:
They deserve a big thanks from the other teams in this year's senior comp. They will be back bigger and better than ever in 2012.
Good luck to all ESA teams in the finals Tiger!  I think either your Reserves or A Grade can win it if they learn to play for the full 70 & 80 minutes. Your U-18s will win in a canter. You must be over the line for senior club champions too with two U-18 teams??

Sadly Bulldogs have withdrawn from the last two rounds of the competition but credit to them for their late start. Titans v All Saints is the A grade match of the round with the winner claiming the Minor Premiership title (a week early). As for articles in newspapers its not easy - firstly 99% of journalists do not attend games so busy volunteer club officials need to write the match report and also forward photos. I personally do this every week but even if promises are made by the journalists articles are often cut for advertising which has first preference as it pays the bills.

The Wests Semi Finals are as follows:
WESTS A GRADE & A RESERVE GRADE FIVE TEAM SEMI FINAL SERIES
Semi Finals
Sunday 21 August at Hillier Oval or Worrell Park
Game 1: 4 v 5
Game 2 : 2 v 3

Semi Finals
Sunday 28 August at Hillier Oval or Worrell Park
Game 3: Loser Game 2 v Winner Game 1
Game 4: 1 v Winner Game 2

Preliminary Final
Sunday 4 September at Campbelltown Stadium
Game 5: Loser Game 4 v Winner Game 3

Grand Final
Sunday 11 September at Campbelltown Stadium
Game 6: Winner Game 4 v Winner Game 5

In the Reggies All Saints v Ingleburn RSL at Hillier Oval at 1-00pm is a big match with the winner claiming 5th outright on the ladder. Also ESA v Minto at Worrell Park at 11-30am is another important clash which will decide the semi final pecking order.

Can't wait. What a great finish to a great Wests season this will be. The Junior League has done really well to put A Grade and A Reserve senior competitions back so quickly after what Group 6 did last season.
Some desperate games will be played for finals positions also this weekend.
And Ozzy. :nono: NO!! Stay in Group 6. You aren't local Wests teams anymore, we have our comp and its remained together and defied you negative disloyal clubs.
Come back and train at Waminda so you can get kicked out!
hey bobcat cant help yourself can you, you are actually the only person posting with dodo,
please stop bagging group 6 i am not bagging your comp read my posts if you cant be positive
in your comments & stop bagging group 6 then i think moderators should give you a spell in the sin bin
like most of us have had, this thread wants positive comment so why still so negative bobcat.

good old bobcat just cant let it go has to be negative and jibe clubs still,no one has bagged any wests clubs yet you continually bag group 6 clubs will you ever learn, the disloyal jibes are rubbish 2 clubs took thier players to a comp that catered for them you yourself said both would destroy the wests comp if they played in it,you are all about just a vendetta against these clubs for going to group 6 and still talk dodo although it falls on deaf ears - come on mate time to grow up and man up the jibber you carry on with would have had alot more of us gone of this forum long time ago i hope the mods pull you in line you have become a discrace.

bobdown i hope u aren't someone tied up to close to local footy coz gee your comments are bitter
i think everyone on here agrees that a combined comp of some sort is the way to go just how it is run & by who is the problem
but your comments aint helping
it would be pretty sad that you find it funny that easts and city got pushed out of area coz they were to strong for local comp

Bobcat we have all been warned so let's leave the bagging of any comp or club off here, because I am sure anyone from group 6 will be leaving the negativity off here as well. We are 2 rounds away from some great semi's and finals leading into the grand finals no matter what has happened this season let's just make it about the Footy and get out and support all our boys. Good luck to them all, and as much as I want to see our 18's walk away with the trophy don't write off the other teams just yet, there are some dedicated players out there who would love to knock ESA off their perch.
