spot on to want to see a strong club booted out and 100 players banished from the game what a dumb discraceful comment that is bobcat, all your about is seeing strong clubs punished for doing whats best for its players and members you dont care about what its all about and thats the footy bobcat everyone wants to se it being played where that is who cares everyone has there preference for what is best for thier club you take so much pride in wests having a comp just to spite city and easts but its about providing footy bobcat for the wests clubs not have a comp to keep others out or punished
i really hope your not who we all think you are cause footy is in a real bad state in ctown if you are

Agreed Disco - Lets all stay positive. Some great games in the final 2 rounds of the Wests senior competition with a competitive semi finals series expected in all grades. In the under 18's undefeated Minor Premiers ESA No.1 are the team to beat if you want to wear the premiership crown whilst the Reggies sees Minor Premiers Liverpool Titans also the team most likely to succeed. LCC in both of these grades is snapping at the heals. The A grade is wide open with any one of the semi final contenders a chance as they have all beaten each other throughout the season. |

Yes agreed that ESA are the team to beat but i know of the Collies team very well and come semi's they have the cattle to pull off a definite upset or two.Predicted ,ESA and Collies grand final is where it will eventuate with either team more than capable of the win as they have more than there share of rep players between them.Goodluck to all teams in the semi's as it brings out the best in all teams. |

lets hope the year ends positive as the strong mail is it could well be the last senior comp in wests, unfortunate but very possible, so best of luck and either way what happens in the future do your best for the present some clubs worked overtime to get a team and club going and deserve to be playing footy once the combined comp split these clubs had to play somewhere unfortunate some others not involved in these clubs tried hard to get a comp for different reasons which have been well documented on this forum in the main from everyones favourite bobcattta. Minto will romp it in big game player team always come good when it counts but seem to be written off early and ESA in 18s. |

Both ESA 18's won today, close one for the 1's though against LCC 14-12. think it might of been a preview of the grand final. And our reserves won convincingly against minto. |

Titans took out the West's first grade Minor Premiership today in an entertaining afternnoon of footy. Titans won 16-14 or should I say All Saints lost it when they gave away a stupid penalty for raking in front of the posts when the score was locked up at 14 all with about 5 to go. Reserve grade have I think bowed out also with a 30-24 loss to Ingleburn Tigers (same amount of tries scored) but All Saints kicking was woeful thus giving Tigers the game. And in other news Eagles defeated Oakdale today to take out the G6 Minor Premiership. Congratulations to all concerned.

WESTS SENIORS COMPETITION - ROUND 14 RESULTS A GRADE: LIVERPOOL TITANS 16 defeated ALL SAINTS 14. Tries: Mick Rauth, Carlos Hafed & George Papura. Goal: Bevan Salter. In Round 14 of the Western Suburbs Junior Rugby League A grade competition Liverpool Titans defeated All Saints Liverpool 16-14 to claim the Minor Premiership at Hillier Oval, Liverpool. The All Saints boys are very fit, and I think the 15 minute break in the second half because of the electrical storm helped the Titans. In saying that I dont think either side looked more dominant than the other and would have been worthy of a finals game. I do query one thing which I am unsure of, and the Titans used this to use up lots of time at the end, when All Saints packed a quick scrum there didn't seem to be any time off and Titans took forever to pack their scrums at the end? Does the time off when a scrum is packed by at least one side not apply in A-Grade?

Towards the end there were three scrums that All Saints packed quick. The ref stopped the clock on 2 of those occassions. The clock stopping was an NRL directive, not a "rule". Similiar to the All Saint's try where the attacking player was pushed over the tryline by team-mates. On an NRL paddock it's called held as soon as they get involved, local comp it's a try. |
