Yes ESA No.1 lost - Collies 32 ESA 12 Well that's what no football will do to ya! That is sad for development of the ESA under 18's players, they would of got nothing out of the 2011 season, why didn't these guys play A or A Res Grade throughout the year?

They didn't play in the reserves or A-Grade as we had under 17's players and they were not allowed to play up. As for the game against Collies all I will say is we were unlucky and will have to lift up for nexts week game against LCC.

Back from my time on the bench , here's my tips for this weekend's semis: Reserves: INGLEBURN RSL v ESA RSL to have a bit too much class & youth on their side. Reserves: LCC v MINTO Minto too tough. A Grade: WARRIORS v ESA ESA in a canter, Warriors have really dropped their bundle. A Grade: ALL SAINTS v MINTO Minto to win by 2 in a top-class game of footy. Get there early on Sunday, will be a great day of Wests Juniors footy. Well done to Darcy and the Titans boys, what a fantastic achievement Minor Premiers in A Grade and Reserves.
Well I have been watching a lot of games this year and happy to point to my 4/4 result in the first week of finals action As predicted it was a wonderful day of Wests Seniors football. Well done to all the clubs, players, officials and the Junior League. The players all went up a gear for the finals and some great footy was played. Edge of the seat stuff in Minto's come from behind win in Reserves. This weekend's games: Reserves: LCC vs INGLEBURN RSL 10am LCC to get over the Burners and win by 10 Reserves: TITANS vs MINTO 11.30am Titans too experienced and well coached. Darcy's boys by 24, time to get the first set of Titans jackets ready I reckon!! A Grade: ALL SAINTS VS ESA 1pm All Saints to win in a tight one by 4, but an ESA win wouldn't surprise. A Grade: TITANS v MINTO 2.30pm Minto to win by 22, too experienced and got a hard nose for finals footy Get there early at Hillier Oval on Sunday, will be another great day of Wests Juniors footy!!! Well 8/8, I must have been watching closely this season. Reserve Grade predictions all spot on, but All Saints way too good in A Grade for ESA and Minto were well on the way to flogging Titans but took their foot off the throttle. Well done to Mad Tiger & Parra for ESA putting such strong teams on the park this season Another fine day of Wests seniors footy last week, great standard now in the finals. I'll put U/18s in this week.
Sunday September 4th @ Campbelltown Stadium.
U/18s: ESA vs LCC ESA to be better for the game, struggle in the first half but get away with the game in the 2nd half. ESA by 14
Reserves: Minto vs LCC LCC to get away in a tight one over the Cobras. LCC by 4.
A Grade: All Saints vs Titans All Saints to escape in a close one by 2
Games start at 11.30am, so get in early

PS: maybe losing was a good thing or a very good tactical move, i think the latter, as this will give them much needed game time before the grandfinal, they didnt need another week off.

well done bobcat 8 from 8 was that NRL or wests comp. Must admit Fatcat, 8 from 8 in west comp is no real achievement, that could of been picked from round 1, Minto put 50 on whoever in the Grand Final! Go Minto!!!!!!

I dont know if many people on this forum attended the weekend A Grade match between Minto and Titans, I for one did and I must say it was scary to watch, a number of on field punchons and a very hostile crowd had people sitting on egg shells, the standard 40 minute half was more like 65 minutes with that many stoppages and cautions, both clubs at fault and a player from each club getting a man sent off as well as a number of sin bins. Its about time clubs take ownership of these problem people (on and off the field)
I have made it crystle clear that our club will not be participating in any form of seniors in the Wests Junior League Competition and the weekends efforts confirm my feelings and the feelings of people within our club. I am glad the season is almost over, its been one I would like to forget

I am not condoning any violence but I certainly enjoyed the game, and did not feel uncomfortable in the crowd.
What club are you saying wont be in the comp next year?

How's All Saints looking this weekend Mr Maverick? Had a talk with Mr Fry today and alas injuries a problem , 2 players with broken arms, 1 broken thumb, 1 torn hamstring and a knee that got yanked sideways in the ESA game, but as always Mr Fry is confident he can get the bickies The reggies players that have been called up are no gumbies so I think we are still in with a chance. Titans are a good side and beat us only by 2 last game (a stupid penalty by our boys in front of the posts with on a couple of minutes to go gave the game to Titans as it was 14 all at that time) as we all know anything can happen in finals football and the boys will do their club proud no matter what the result.
P.S. It sucks for me All Saints sudden death 2.30 Sunday at C/Town and Eagles V Oakdale 2.30 Sunday at Mossvale. Dont have 2 kids playing in different sides in A Grade as there is no right answer on who to watch. But All Saints it is for me this week as they are sudden death and Eagles have another bite at the cherry if they blow it. (and stuff that Mossvale so far away) I dont know what I'll do if All Saints win and Eagles lose for next week Dont let me down Eagles and good luck to all

Bob down, great comment, you are showing people how much you know about Rugby League, Group 6 and Wests are totally different competitions, and that's why Wests teams couldnt compete in the Group 6 1st Grade, look at Bulldogs and All Saints, out of there depth, I think City have done well in the past 2 years and give the Macarthur Bulls a year or two and they will be a Group 6 First Grade club. Minto are a good A Grade side but could they handle 18 Rounds of tough Group 6 Rugby League, remembering the amount of games Minto won this year wouldnt even see them close to make the Group 6 top 5

Typical muck rakeing comment. Are you a G6 club Member? I was there, Maverick is spot on there was nothing wrong with the games. Both top quality games and it would be great to see Minto have a crack at East C'town, maybe next year in the pre-season. They'd definitely beat City & Bulls. And another thing- congratulations to Andrew Ryan this weekend. Go the Dogs and good luck Bobcat!
yeah and both players got sent and the titans player got off how do you work that out its a joke obviously someone want to take us out of the running for the comp its defiently not right its a joke and than tonight at least 4 days after the incident they take another player why do we put up with it but wont stop the cobras come out even stronger We didn't

Good luck Minto i hope you guys win it!!! I have heard stories about Titans behavour this year on and off field and yet Minto seem to be the centre of unfair blame.
Good luck Cobras!!!!

Dad heard at Raby Tavern last night that ESA Reserve Grade and A Grade are headed over to the Bulls next year, this coming from a reliable source that knows the President of ESA, is there any truths in this Mad Tiger or Parra Eels, just asking the question!
