Dad heard at Raby Tavern last night that ESA Reserve Grade and A Grade are headed over to the Bulls next year, this coming from a reliable source that knows the President of ESA, is there any truths in this Mad Tiger or Parra Eels, just asking the question!
Fencey my boy your never far off the mark!!! I will be at the Bulls next year, main reasons mate is i live in Camden and training and home games in Camden makes it very easy..And i see a huge future in Bulls..I have no problems with the wests comp in anyway..a FEW of my boys will follow but not whole teams..
Sounded more like ESA having no seniors next year, and it sounds like more than a few boys leaving, Dad said you have the support of all your players, they all like you and will follow you to the Bulls, is Life Member from your club?
Well.well, well young sitter hey  id love to know who your old man is he knows alot :dunno: thanks for spoiling the signing annoucement of Parra to the Bulls i would have liked to have had it come out after the seasons end and in a more official way then the forum so thanks sitter maybe tell your old man to keep a lid on things that dont concern him :finger:

We have signed on Parra for 2012 in a coaching and committe role and are very certain he can deliver for us and has a great track record and repore with players and we belive he his a perfect fit for the Bulls in 2012 and beyond, we are very excited about 2012 and Parra will be a huge part of our future success :correct:
Thanks Mate looking forward to it
Hasn't it been an interesting morning on here. First of all I would like to say to Parra it has been great working with you this year at ESA it will be sad to see you go, our senior's would not have been what it was without the hard work you, your staff and some of the committee put in but we wish you well and hope it works out for you. Mac Bulls he will be great for your club.

Fencesitter it's a shame you couldn't of sat on your dads information for a couple of more weeks, even though our A-grade and reserves are out we still have a hard couple of weeks ahead of us at the club with having nearly all of our age groups from 8's to 18's still playing in finals and grand finals and we would of preferred that something like this be left to after then to be announced, as Mac Bull has said.
Knowing everything dosen't have to always mean telling everybody about it. :finger:

Our club including Parra will be concentrating on supporting our teams in their upcoming games and nothing else and to the parties out there who would like to try and take the excitement of grand final weeks away from us, well good luck we are stronger than you seem to think....

I would like to wish all clubs from Wests and Group 6 good luck this weekend and next, there will be some good footy played and some young talented players on show so everybody should get out to either comps and have a look and show support. :winner:
Sorry Footy Mum, coming from your club President, I didn't think it was a secret, obviously the worst kept secret this year!

Your kidding group 7 and illawarra are a fair hike from the highlands and dose not happen to often!!

Go ahead Bull knock yourself out but just ask Narellan and Mittagong a few years back what happens when you import to many players!!!

I would say that is a typical reply from a Wests JL club, just because another club wants to move on and play footy, I still want to know what club Life Member is from, Dad thinks he knows, he will find out!

I dont know if many people on this forum attended the weekend A Grade match between Minto and Titans, I for one did and I must say it was scary to watch, a number of on field punchons and a very hostile crowd had people sitting on egg shells, the standard 40 minute half was more like 65 minutes with that many stoppages and cautions, both clubs at fault and a player from each club getting a man sent off as well as a number of sin bins. Its about time clubs take ownership of these problem people (on and off the field)

I have made it crystle clear that our club will not be participating in any form of seniors in the Wests Junior League Competition and the weekends efforts confirm my feelings and the feelings of people within our club. I am glad the season is almost over, its been one I would like to forget
Typical muck rakeing comment. Are you a G6 club Member?
I was there, Maverick is spot on there was nothing wrong with the games. Both top quality games and it would be great to see Minto have a crack at East C'town, maybe next year in the pre-season.
They'd definitely beat City & Bulls. :correct: :correct:
And another thing- congratulations to Andrew Ryan this weekend. Go the Dogs and good luck Bobcat! :winner:
yeah and both players got sent and the titans player got off how do you work that out its a joke obviously someone want to take us out of the running for the comp its defiently not right its a joke and than tonight at least 4 days after the incident they take another player why do we put up with it but wont stop the cobras come out even stronger
Reading over the pages it seems the Titans have gotten off fairly lightly all year, All the way from executive levels down do players???

Good luck Minto i hope you guys win it!!! I have heard stories about Titans behavour this year on and off field and yet Minto seem to be the centre of unfair blame.

Good luck Cobras!!!!
thanxs yeah were hopeing i think titans have gotten off with heaps we can only hope and our player is allowed to play now just waiting to hear on the other one just glad this week and next week were at the stadium the tension in the games is on the edge on the field and in the crowd its discusting :nono: :nono:

sad to see the might Mac Fields hawkes club come to an end after this year and to be renamed the Glenquarie All Stars - i hope it works out for them Hawkes was once on of the most power clubs back in the early to mid 90's and winning an A grade title in 2004 and many grandfinal apperances in between in seniors and fielding teams in all grades with many a premierships and some great players come out of and play for the club, best of luck to the club in thier new venture :correct: and sad to see the hawkies will be no more.

That's pretty big news - but what's the motivation? Why close a club with such history, only to re-open under the incredibly generic "All Stars"?

Agreed. A name like "All Stars" usually usually gets tagged to a representitive side in most sports, not the local club side. I think that needs some more thought? :dunno:

I was a bit disapointed the Titans player got off, :finger: nothing personal to the Titan's player but West's judiciary are not taking the politically correct option by not enforcing the "the one punch rule" If West's want to show they are serious about the rule then it must be enforced. I watched players in G6 get the minimum 1 week this year for a lot less. :correct: And if it was proved this player did not throw a punch, somebody did and he should be punished instead.

The Glenquarie part i get but abondoning the Hawkes name and logo i just dont see the logic in it :dunno: from what i here they will only run as a jnr club 6-16s.
