Beefa, i think you may need a history lesson, group 6 have had campbelltown teams participate in its competition since it's inception , notably is the kangaroos who were apart of group 6 when the CRL first formed as a governing rugby league body in 1946.
Clubs from the greater Campbelltown, New South Wales area participated in the 1st Division Group 6 competition from 1946- 1983. These clubs included:
Campbelltown City Kangaroos (1946–1983) Campbelltown Warriors (1970–1983) Campbelltown Collegians (1970–1983) Ingleburn Bulldogs (1974–1983) Leumeah Wolves (1971–1977) Other clubs from Campbelltown to feature in the 2nd Division and 3rd Division leagues from 1973-1983 included:
Macquarie Fields Hawks Cross Roads Tavern Tharawal Ghosts Airds Colts Claymore Panthers Campbelltown Sharks Minto Cobras Ingleburn RSL
thanks disco shows group 6 has done well using west clubs
You have no clue beefa, get oyur facts right. If you were smart enough mate you would see that Wests has done well off Group 6. The wests comp didn't even start until the early to mid '80's when Wests moved out here from Lidcombe. Newtown played in campbelltown before Wests so it could have been a Jets comp that benefitted from Group 6 as Group 6 has been running for at least 50 years buddy or Bobcat or whoever you are. I think beefa meant wests have done well from group 6 clubs....

Mate, im neither for or against combined comp or individual comps.... All I am saying is that from my understanding, the situation has gone a lot higher than just local, and if the powers at be say to play combined, the clubs have to do what they are told.
The push was from "a lot higher" last time and it didn't work. Group 6 won't be forced into a combined comp again and this time G6 management will do what the clubs want. That ship has sailed & it's time to put the issue to rest and get on with both comps.
to right both move on with east city bulls and appin to collies back in west what a comp it will be lol beefa you are funny...must have been a great dream for you...when I read this I thought I was haveing a nightmare..sorry to disappoint you buddy but Appin Club is and allways will be a group 6 club.

Beefa, i notice you only joined today and your first two comments gave me my friday laugh, just for the record free rego is not a new thing, and players are told if they perform then they will play where there ability is capable of playing, i sense you may just be a tad jealous of just how strong the Eagles are, but thanks for the laugh beefa....
Just wondering when free rego from west came in, you say it's nothing new but I have never heard of it apparently it was offered to players to play A grade to build up wests comp by wests

On a totally different subject, West Jnrs presentation was held last night and congratulations to Graham Poppy Powell from ESA who was inducted as a West Life Member, well deserved... And also congrats to ESA who took away Saturday Jnr Club champions, Sunday Snr Club Champions and Overall Club Champions. Regardless of all the other drama through out the year this shows when a great committee work hard together and we have people like Parra and his crew looking after the Seniors a club can succeed and be the best one at that.
And to all the other clubs commitees and volunteers congrats on a great year of footy, it was good to see everybody there last night having a great time.
