Final score Group 6- 58 def Group 10- 20. Group 6 now travel to Dubbo on the 29 June to play the winner of Groups 3 and 7 in the teir 2 championship final. Expect 5 or 6 players to earn Country Bulls honours from these performances. |

Yeah Group 7 won 44-26. It would be great. Though the groups may then suffer like groups 11 and 10 having to form Western Division and play teir 1. This could be a reality in 2014 if G6 play G7 in the final. In saying this I think Southern Division would be competitive and to be the best you should play the best. I'll tip Group 6 to win by 30 no matter who they play in the final. |

Its more than likely that southern division may be included for next year in tier 1 considering how far advanced group 6& 7 have progressed thru the champs this year.Don't know much about group 3 so possibly group 7 playing in the final, to knock over a strong group 9 shows they will be tough. Apparently he is ineligible. I overheard someone in the know saying that because he's played nsw cup this year he is ruled out. The surprise for me is that there's no Ben Baker. Is he injured? Borgy still injured? |

A Mossy player has made the squad even with their team struggling which is great to see. I think no CCK players in that team really shows the lack of progress they have made since entering G6 which is a worrying sign. |

Baker & gallant had an incident in their club game over the weekend, you would assume that to keep team morale in the group 6 squad that one had to go as having that tension in the camp wouldn't be good . |

Country Bulls take on WA http://www.wollondillyadvertiser.com.au/story/1611106/country-bulls-take-on-wa/?cs=1678 By Ben Chenoweth ![]() Rep selection: Shannon Gallant will play against the Western Australian rugby league side this Sunday. Picture: Anna Warr THE local rugby league Group 6 competition will make up almost a third of this year's Country Bulls representative side. Five players including Narellan Jets fullback Shannon Gallant, Oakdale Worker's second rower Brad Hopkins, Mittagong prop Robbie Payne, Thirlmere/Tahmoor hooker Stuart Flanagan and Camden Rams five-eighth Wade Dunley are in Perth to play Western Australia on Sunday. The players' selection come after strong performances in the Country Rugby League Tier 2 Country Championships. Former Wests Tigers and North Queensland Cowboys player Gallant said he was looking forward to lining up alongside the likes of Hopkins and former Tigers teammate Flanagan. "Stuart Flanagan brings out the best in me," he said. "And Brad Hopkins, I've never seen anyone hit a hole as hard as him." Though Gallant appreciates representative selection, he said the goal was still to focus on performing for his local side. After making his way through the Western Suburbs Magpies lower grades, Gallant debuted for the Tigers in round 19, 2007. The 27-year-old played 10 games for Tigers before moving to North Queensland. "I went to the Cowboys for two years and was plagued by injury," he said. "A groin reconstruction ruined my NRL career but it was the best two years of my life." "I started playing rugby league when I was 4½ and all I wanted to do was play one game. "To cross that white line at Campbelltown Stadium was something else. "It was a dream come true and it's something I'll never forget." |
