Iam 100% certain that east c'towns new hooker Sam Hoare will be the 9. A very smart footballer himself. |

We are so proud of our players that have made the Group 6 Rep Team, another reason why I fight for Group 6 was all worth it! 3 Rounds and not one incident or problem, great footy and our whole club is loving it, also great to see the whole senior coaching staff getting on so well, it's a great feeling within the club and considering of what we have been through, it's all going well! |

Blue Devil, Easts are certainly a very strong squad this year and congrats on their rep selections. Are all players willing and going to play in the rep team? Year after year sides are picked only to have half the team pull out for various reasons. I only ask because I believe this years squad is extremely strong and Im hoping that all players barring injury will play. (this applies to all clubs... wasnt singling your club out)

I phoned every player and they are excited and looking forward to playing, they will represent our club and Group 6 in the most proffessional way, 18 year old Theo Leato was probably the most overwelmed, we are so proud of all our players making it and they will do Group 6 proud, I assure you! |

You obviously don't know much Charlie Boy, 1 player was from our 18's 2 from our 1st Grade and another 2 have been at our club for 3 years at Bundy, 1 of those players is also a junior, so very well known and respected. Our club is all working together and in the right direction, the competition for positions is a great position for our club to be in! If you look at our hooker last year Jarryd Eggleton has moved to the back row and his playing the house down, our Half John Da-Silva has moved to lock and looks like a Ferrari on the field, our centre Sake has moved from centers to second row, and our fullback from last year Sutho is out injured at the moment! It's a credit to our coaching staff Barnzy and Hazleton as the positional changes have the guys playing well together, a very fit mobile side. Edited by Blue Devil, Apr 18 2011, 11:38 PM.

Sutho is the central nervous system of our 1st Grade team, full back or five eight will be the option, cannot wait to see him back, he is as keen a mustard, |

You know our side well, Sutho is due back in 2 weeks, he will pressure a couple of players to pick there game up, Sutho if he recovers well will have no problems earning a spot in the team, the good thing about Sutho he can play every position in the backline, it's a good position to be in and it will be great to see him back! |

If I had to pick my 18 man squad from the 24 chosen this would be it... 1. Amano Tovio 2. Matt McCauley 3. Josh Champion 4. Nick Crouch 5. Ben Baker 6. Bryce Poisel 7. Wade Dunley 8. Chris Young 9. Sam Hoare 10. J.M Taavili 11. David Lowe 12. Kiel Shepard 13. Drew Dalton 14. Adam Shepard 15. Jamie szezernbanyck 16. Troy Cohen 17. Tom Moon 18th man John da Silva Well done to the selectors who have chosen a very good squad... of course there are a few players that were unlucky to have missed the 24 man squad in my opinion but thats life. I think this team can be competitive with any group team in the crl, including wollongong and newcastle. |

I think you are close on the mark, I would put John Da-Silva in at lock and move Drew Dalton as an impact player off the bench, his carrying a few oranges over his shoulders if you know what I mean, and JD has to be one of the best players I have seen in our club for teh past 10 years. Oakdale have 4 in the squad already, and i think 2 that missed out should feel unlucky. Graeme Martin has been fantastic over the last 2 seasons, scores a ton of tries, and has become a smarter ball runner, and Todd Pes just points our side in the right direction. |

Just shows the depth of the G6 comp, when players like that are not picked. Lets just hope the first side can bring home the bickies and prove the selectors right. |

He (Powell) has been playing hooker, and im not convinced he is the best hooker at the club. He offered little against Oakdale, and when i watched Mitta v Camden, he was on the bench. The starting hooker was good. When Powell came on he stifled there attack. From what i've heard, he is a great back rower, so maybe he should take a step back from trying to control his team, and lead the way in the back row. |

Power push into squad BY SEAN CUNNINGHAM http://www.camdenadvertiser.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/power-push-into-squad/2145298.aspx ![]() Rep honours: Troy Cohen will be a handful for his opponents in the Country Rugby League regional senior championships. Picture: Sean Cunningham TROY Cohen is Camden's sole representative in the Group 6 squad that will compete in this year's Country Rugby League regional senior championships. The 22-year-old, who played his junior footy with Chipping Norton, St Christopher's Revesby and Cabramatta, hasn't looked back since joining the Rams last season. He praised the "hard work" of Ram's committee members for helping Camden be successful in this season's Group 6 competition, with three wins from three games. The big back-rower, who was in last year's Group 6 squad, can't wait for the championships to start. "I was pretty stoked to have been selected in the squad, due to the quality of forwards running around the comp at the moment, as well as in my own team," he said. "I have some hard work ahead of me to cement a spot in the top 17." Cohen will be fighting for his place in the team alongside the best of the best in Group 6. "There are a lot of quality players, a lot of Picton, Campbelltown Eagles and Oakdale players who have all proven to be the big three teams of the comp," Cohen said. "I believe the coaches have picked strong and are looking at not just being competitive in this comp but to win it and I'm sure Brian Taylor [coach] will leave no stone unturned to get the results." Camden coach Mark De Ubago, who has coached Cohen for three years rates his barnstorming back-rower's ability. "Troy is always positive, a good solid back-rower, he works hard and is a great communicator," he said. |
