Fact of the matter is, the Tigers are the ones backing the program now. It's hard to argue against them putting their brand on it
Magpies a proud club? Yes they were along time ago in a galaxy far far away But now they are the laughing stock of the NSW Cup. Have lost there NRL team, Junior League(s), place in Campbelltown and shortly junior rep sides no doubt plus the development squads Good on the Tigers for doing what had to be done, I hope a Campbelltown Tigers NSW Cup goes in as well. I used to support the Magpies but it's time for them to head home to Ashfield and try to get a junior Magpies team running down there for the Balmain Junior League. It's 2011 now, my boy wants to be Benji not Tommy well enjoy taking your son to concord for training and playing in there, ashfield has supported this cause for so long and you are right magpies prob deserve to die for allowing this to happen, but facts are, ia was junior league and ronald that helped tear this apart and slowly this area will die a slow death until illawarra or roosters, canterbury or parra come and fix it.

Fellas the fact of the matter is the Magpies just can't cope with the Junior Development stuff any more. It requires significant funding, and especially at the age group they are monitoring (13s,14s,15s) an NRL presence can be massive in a kids future.
Its obvious to you or me that there has been a pathway through the magpies to the Tigers NRL. But what of the kids? If they get the chance to pull on a Tigers jersey, that is massive to these kids. Look at Parramatta, look at Penrith. For once they are making the right call here.
we live in campbelltown and not balmain and as for funding, its only been ashfield funding it, why dont wests c/town throw in their share and stop the funds being drained by jl and there is plenty of dough. bring on the real local clubs, parra, canterbury and illawarra plus soon to be roosters.

My son made one of the Wests Tigers Campbelltown development teams who is running this now? Tigers or Magpies? It is sad what happened to the Magpies but times has changed and I hope its true that the Juniors and Tigers have taken over the youth squads. Magpies haven't played NRL for how long, how are 14yos supposed to know who they are?
I don make many postings but as a die hard Magpie I have no choice, Tigers have done as much as the Wests Junior League and are destroying this area, they are doing thier best to kill of the Magpie and the so called merger has been no more than a friggen take over like St George and the other team, see I forgot who they are, this is what will happen to the Magpie, we have a Junior League that has done all but destroyed the local area, the population in Campbelltown is 10 times more than what it was in 1980, yet our junior numbers have stalemated! Yet soccer is massive with some clubs having 50 teams in 1 club, the junior League blame the Wests Magpies for what's happened in this area but look at the treatment of the Magpie, shafted from Campbelltown, a Then our talented locals get sent to Concord, I for 1 will be telling any good talented local junior to sign with the Bulldogs, alot closer, Tigers should piss off back to Balmain, and take the development and junior league with them, let the Magpie run the Campbelltown area, give the magpies everything from Junior League, Development, mini magpies, mats, SG Ball, bundy and Premierleague, we don't have an NRL side in Campbelltown, they rent the Campbelltown Stadium 4 times a year! What a joke! If they got selected by the Bulldogs they would train at Homebush (next to the stadium) which is about the same travel as Concord

That would be right, as soon as anyone comes up with an opinion against the Macarthur (Bulls) City Eagles mafia you get mugged on here If the player hit the referee he deserves what he gets I don't see how you mentioning it every five seconds helps anyone and why try to tie the ESA club into it
Good on you guys too- your selfishness cost the area having a fairly good senior comp But hey it is still going and where are your clubs? The Leppington Kangaroos, Oakdale Bulls and Wilton Eagles Kangaroos can hardly win a game in any grade anyway
jeez your a funny one bob (cant spot talent) "cat" 300 plus players chose to leave your area,i would ask why these players have left before you even start looking to blame the clubs that left for a better comp & a better future, by the way "cat" cant you read the 3 clubs you mentioned are in the local papers every week they are called CAMPBELLTOWN KANGAROOS CAMPBELLTOWN EAGLES & MACARTHUR BULLS not leppington not oakdale not wilton regardless of what you think these sides are & allways will be campbelltown clubs so suck it up we also play in a 10 team 1st grade 10 team reserve grade 8 team 3 grade & 2 divisions of 18s we play 18 comp rounds then semis, your fantasy comp with 5 teams play semis every week as all sides will make the finals what a great comp Your comp is like the spring break, you are the only area that has a 4 week break in the middle of the season, are you serious your jl are the biggest joke in rugby league, your board is full of egos & self interest what about the kids.

Well why didn't you Magpies do something about it? The Club and its Board just let yourselves be meekly whiteanted by the people you mentioned until you got to this position- one NSW Cup team with no Campbelltown players (all at Balmain) after losing everything. Agree here, the Junior League should have 6,000 kids playing but are 2,500 short. But what have you done this change this? What have the Magpies done to expose this? The Junior League and the Tigers have won, accept it, get "Benji 6" on the back of your Tigers jersey, watch him sidestep his way to the 2011 NRL Cup Junior league couldn win a chook raffle and even if they rigged it

just heard all junior & senior games canceled this weekend again but typical of this lot if you want too watch some good rugby league go too a group 6 game were still playing, council are so soft, i bet they still play soccer on the weekend just like they did a few weeks ago, soccer played rugby league didn't too many too many egos & self interest, what about the kids, my 7yr old is fuming, i am disgusted in what is been done & believe the people involved should be charged with bringing the game into direpute, senior rugby league in Campbelltown is a joke other areas & other codes are sitting back having a good old laugh at what has happened to the area. the sooner the roosters come out this way the better, it will give our kids a lot more options.

Junior league couldn win a chook raffle and even if they rigged it rumor - jl have canceled all senior games for rest of the season & will start back at semi final time, the reason for this is that it is a 5 team finals & as there is only 5 teams there is no need to play comp games as they all qualify

what you gonna do footy mum? ESA ground in wests boundrie west jl will tell you Camden or bust like the other 3 mobs it should all be group 6 seniors anyway but it wont From ESA's point of view we are going to do what is best for our players.
My personal opinion is that the whole senior comp needs to be looked at.... I have watched some really good footy this season from our 18's through to the A-grade, but we still have the smallest seniors comp for any district and I really think the jl needs to re-evaluate this comp before we do loose more of our players to other districts like bulldogs and roosters.....
as I said thats just my personal opinion....

Well my case rests. The decent people on this forum could tell that as soon as an opposing view was presented by me the Campbelltown East Bull Eagle Kangaroos, there members jump on here and drown you out and punch you up. Roos Forever, Blue Devil, Itchy & Scratchy, Mac Bull/ Rooke you play in Group 6 use that forum. Worry about yourselves not the other clubs who are the real pride of Campbelltown now. Your sponsors will soon see they get no value for $$$ in the local area and will come across to ESA, Bulldogs, Warriors and Minto. You'll do in Group 6 what you did in Wests so we don't care. Wests Juniors is a much nicer place without you all, we all get along great now!
