Only a few players were suspended from playing, the club itself could take no further part in the comp so not all players were barred. |

Fence sitter Jul 4 2011, 04:07 PM The west A Grade has gone backwards, look at Tigers, concord, ruse, Warriors and Ingleburn/ iusetobe RSL Bulldogs on the weekend, 9 aside each and the game finished at half time, both forfeits last week, 3 18's forfeit this week, what is that? A game was talked about at Ashcroft and last minute changed, nothing on this forum or JL website at where the games are, it's a bloody mess and we have 4 clubs that say, oh yeh this is great and Fatcat that raves about it but can't get his tigers players to show, need I say more! It's not JL fault, it's the clubs that have done this! bobcat Jul 4 2011, 04:29 PM No one has tried to say that it is perfect. But it is what we have and it will get better again next year. ![]() While you and all your cronies can continue to bag what we have, remember we weren't offered a part combined comp like yourselves. Anyway we are where we are, we like training and playing at our real home ground. hey bobcrap we were not offered a part, you have to apply to get into group 6 all 3 new clubs applied & were accepted very simple if you ask me or do you think you deserve to be offered a part, apply like everyone else you never know you might get accepted you are a very desperate person the facts speak for themselves as too the difference between both comps, these facts show that group 6 is miles in front in every aspect, crowds, standard of football, gates, canteen, behavior, no forfeits, no bad crowd behavior & even though it was a group 6 match but it was a wests junior secretary KOing her own son, not a good look for the wests jl, this dose not surprise me at all, its the sort of thing you expect coming from the wests area, weather its the players, the crowd & club officials the west comp seems to go from bad to worse just my opinion bobcrap, the three clubs that left are very happy where there at & they know they made the right decision for there clubs, players, fans & the Campbelltown area as this area is represented by having 2 clubs competing in the group 6 competition the CAMPBELLTOWN KANGAROOS & CAMPBELLTOWN EAGLES who are both doing the Campbelltown district proud.

Leppington Kangaroo what can I say? Wests JL in 2012 will have 18s, Reserves and 1sts. I can see All Saints, Titans, ESA and Minto having all three grades like this year. LCC will announce themselves as the new power in Wests seniors with all 3 Grades. Ingleburn Bulldogs or RSL will have all 3 Grades. I reckon Collies will be back with all 3 Grades. Warriors might have a few grades. So Wests will easy have 7 teams in each grade and have viable comps. That means you better reapply to join here or start saving the 2 bob coins again for the petrol money to Camden for training. Big lead in and run into the Wests finals will see the comp really go up a gear and set up a great 2012. |

Yes very true Mav, and the oaks forfeited to bowral last week also, only half way thru the season, yet amazingly no questions asked by the peeps over in the group 6 thread.

I hope you do Bobdown, but looking at your 18's comp this year and players leaving in mass exodus, I think your in fantasy land, I said this before, the amount of clubs you have in the size area makes it impossible to field those teams, other areas have come to terms that merge comps are the only way but you cant get it, Group 6 have clubs spread over many towns that helps and with the luxury of good fenced in grounds and they can buy imports, I suppose you have to understand how to run a senior competition. If your not who we think you are you have a very good imposter! Good luck for 2012 and beyond, we know where we will be! |

Its probably a matter of how many forfeits, I can think of 3 all year in Group 6, but looking at the JL there are 3 forfeits in 1 weekend and less then half the amount of teams in JL to G6, forfeits will happen but it depends on what circumstances, look at ESA 18's to our 18's, they have had a massive number and both our 18's haven't had a forfeit as yet! just the facts |

To footymum is it true that you had a game today against the wests development squad & the development squad had group 6 players one been Cory Warpole how can this happen mid season with the train & play rule also this kid would have had no insurance as we have been constantly told by your chairman PS: How can a game be called off for an all in brawl but no one is sent off & no one sited, its the same as the ref that had the chunk of ice thrown at him no one can be sited for that either, my understanding they have a few issues to deal with but unwilling to make the hard choices, they also had an incident at a knock out comp at stromferry. Footymum at least you got a game |

Yeah we did have a game against West 17's development, although they brought a few of their 16's Harold Matthews players up as well to play and yes there were a few group 6 players in the game and I am not a 100% but pretty sure Corey was playing or suppose to play didnt get a look at the sign on sheet, or should I say the sheet the players names were wrote on.... Not sure what you mean by the all inbrawl as there was not one in this game only 1 incident of shoving and the player got 10 in the bin from our side for it... don't know if you are reffering to ESA in the other incidents either or jl in general The score was 16-10 West's way, although I have to say considering the amount of rep players they had in the west team our boys held up alright with their 25 players against our 17.... Well I am gald they got the game in as the team they are playing meant to play next week will most likely forfiet and they have a bye the week after... |

bobcat Jul 12 2011, 01:34 PM Boys you can keep trying to whiteant Wests Seniors as much as you want. Wests comp will be stronger than ever again in 2012. ![]() Your clubs can choose to come back and play here or stay training and playing at Camden. ![]() Good to see Leppington City out of the G6 semi finals so early. All the $$$ spent again on old unfit players and couldn't make the finals of a country comp even with their Penrith connection. ![]() Now we can watch the Eagles go by the wayside also. Both clubs should stop wasting so much money on there seniors and put back into their juniors. I wonder what there juniors think about all the wasted money on tired old has-beens. hey bobcrap you are right you do have a strong vibrant violent comp congratulations

How's your club going Roos? Beaten by Narellan, all the money spent again for no return on overpaid has-beens Got no respect for the hard work you and the other helpers do You wouldn't even make semis in wests comp |

I'd hate to go through a divorce with some of you people, it's very messy. I honestly think that there should be an amiacable split here. Easts & Roo's no longer want to be associated with Western Suburbs. They are being forced out of the area by the train & play rule. Deep down everyone here doesn't want either club back in the wests competition because let's face it, you guys don't have the money or player roster to match these 2 clubs, they would canabolize the competition. Everyone calls them traitors & defectors, but its puts up a good arguement when you look at some of the reasons why they may have left. They get to play in a competition where there are 10 teams. At present all 10 teams are competitive. This provides a challenge most weeks, which keeps players and fans happy. They are able to sell alcohol at their games, which allows the clubs to increase revenue. Let the Eagles and Roo's play in Ctown, then everyone can move on. I'm sure all of the white anting, and undermining that is supposedly going on will stop when this occurs. Then at the end of the day, if the Western Suburbs competition has the better product, it may kill off the roos and eagles, because all of the locals will vote with their feet, and all of the players will too. I don't think anyone realises the impact this may have on Rugby League in the bigger picture. |

It would be pretty hard not to make semis in the wests comp with the whole 5 and half teams they in there first grade everyone makes it to the finals except the half a team came in half way through the comp ... what a joke ...
