Fence sitterMay 5 2011, 10:28 PM jollysoleMay 5 2011, 10:11 PM mickrobboMay 5 2011, 09:23 AM CharlieMay 5 2011, 07:53 AM Any update on the RSL situation? According to the draw it is still listed as ALL Saints vs RSL.mail i heard is a jl funded bulldogs will fill the void by rsl the rsl boys that left are supposedly going to be the res team for bulldogs and 8 blactown players propped up with nsw cup sg ball and nyc players will be the a grade team is the rumor ive heard anyone can confirm hey burner surely your club would be filthy having to now play against the boys that let your club down how is it they cant pay their regos at rsl but will turn out for bulldogs a week later alot of questions i guess will be asked how this happend Bulldogs probably think its payback and makes up for all the juniors they lost to the IRSL Tigers Houso Robbo Yobbo, you have good god dam connections, did you get that mullet strightened at Camos! Whats this Bulldogs side going to cost the JL, sorry, what is this Bulldogs side going to cost the KIDS of our area, remember Juniors money! fency 2 teams regos about 8k i reckon plus 2 sets of jumpers another 3k about 12k needed i reckon alot to come up with in a week jl must have some cash to be able to do this but what about other clubs they deserve the same

done some ringing around to my people who know certain people who are in the know and apparently fence sitter is on the money and a g6 letter sent earlier this year before both comps started was in fact for the 2011 season no mention of 2012 and an offer for all jl clubs to participate in a combined comp this letter was doctored up and put into pdf headed wests 2012 and sent to jl clubs last night by jl from what i hear big news will unfold from here with both letters/emails past on to g6 and nswrl and all jl clubs will receive both copies to stew over and decide what actually took place and judge for themselves in the end of the day lets hope footy is the winner im robbo the yobbo the forum reporter with another scoop look out danny weidler i want your job son

I am unsure how this offer was possible. If all G6 clubs voted not to have a combined comp how can it then be offered to have a combined comp again without going back to the clubs for another vote?

pretty sure g6 would have taken the jl response back to the clubs for a vote i believe it was just a gesture and then a vote would of taken place by g6 clubs the meeting tuesday im told is for 2012 the 2011 door has been shut i personally cant see g6 clubs voting for it and the 3 ctown clubs in g6 wont want a bar of it either given what they have been dished up by the jl so far

Think I made a mistake, try again, bloody computers. I've just registered so im new to the Forum, I love my footy and always have been a passionate Magpies Man, Noel Kelly was an idle of mine growing up, I was involved with Group 6 footy as a player and as a dad when my son played, that was around 1965 me as a player, you like to play like your idle, I tried many times to put on the biff, i wasnt that good at it, even before the game was kicked off, the game was different back then and you gave what you got! , In 1965 it was like the minor boom in Campbelltown that seen clubs pop up every where. Group 6 was in campbelltown, it was probably at its peak in the late 70's and Early 80's, I could give you a lesson on the Local footy, actually I could bet from the 1960's on that I would know more local history on the game then most people on this Forum, I have been reading this forum for a few weeks and cant understand some of it but it reminds me of the seperation in 1983, people went off that night, when the small clubs and majority of those clubs didnt have Senior sides got to vote on seperating the Group 6 to what I remember was Campbelltown/Newtown which became Campbelltown/Liverpool and a rep team was the Campbelltown hornets, Looked like Canberra coulours, if I remember right! everyone hates each other and friendships have be torn, isnt this the game that we all should be working for! I have done me dues and in my day had some great memories, just dont understand how the game has been run. There is always disputes on decissions but I have never in my life of footy seen clubs act like this maybe its the generation, and clubs dont have a bond to help each other, we use to have great relationships with club stewards but on field we would want to kill each other, its the other way around these days, club stewards want to kill each other and the players are bloody soft needing massages and pool sessions, get your arse out on the farm, you will get over it! I suppose I'm dribbling on but what I'm trying to write is, the man that runs the show needs to get all the clubs together, let them tell each other, how they feel, punches might fly but they will get over it, I remember when a city steward punched someone at the Kangaroos Leagues club, big bastard I remember, anyway they got over it! Get Group 6 back and be done with it, pick your senior clubs and let the boys play juniors and the men play seniors, and finally why is this area called Wests? That makes me sick that the Campbelltown City Leagues Club is named Bloody WESTS, Im a Magpies supporter but there is nothing West out here, Sydney bloody Tigers, Maggies at Liverpool, its a crock of do-do! |

sorry to inform you all but i have been told that the wests comp is to be re - named, it is know known as the, group 6 feeder comp as we all know that the best go to group 6. PS: to wests to even suggest with there PDF file that the combined comp is back on is wrong the deal that was presented was for the season 2011 not 2012 it was a once only offer which was rejected by the wests clubs, so lie in your own bed. see in group 6 the clubs run the game with the support of the board, in wests the board runs the game with no in put from the clubs. easy to see which is better the proof is in the pudding. |

there is 1 thing that i would like to congratulate wests on is that they have the best referees, unfortunately the refs in group 6 are not up to standard, ironic isnt it the better comp has the worst refs, the wests fantasy comp has the best refs
