This one is straight from Dads good mate, the Wests Tigers are seeking to get the Macarthur League on the table at CRL and NSWRL, all it really is, is a fancy name for the combined competition |

How funny is that WT trying to push for a combined comp when they do nothing for the area what so ever i mean 4 games a year at Campbelltown and all of a sudden they want the Group 6 base as well please Group 6 as laughed this off already Macarthur League :laughing come on WT a little to late but i am sure West's will love a name change can only see the West side of things changing to the WT Macarthur League as Group 6 moved on 12 months ago and look pretty happy to stay as Group 6.

Don't you just love it! WT show absolutely no interest in the area for 10 years but now they are keen to get this established. They have been running around to G6 clubs having one on one meetings to try an push this joint comp but the clubs I know of, have told them in no uncertain terms "not interested". |

Dad gave a good history lesson on ex NRL stars returning to Wests A Grade, unless they can find a Million Dollar sponsor, to put in to player payments, ground up grades and most important of all Security, it won't happen, I would love to see it though. |

Liverpool Titans invest in youth rugby league The Liverpool Leader - Sport ![]() Nathan Jennings, Kodi Smith, Luke Montesin and Kirsty Maher. Photo: ARMEN DEUSHIAN. THE Titans hope to carve career pathways for these young footballers. The Liverpool club, after both senior teams won minor premierships in their debut season, are looking ahead by investing in its junior divisions. President Darcy Brown said rugby league was not only important for the individual, but for the community. "I still have mates who I played with in junior football," Brown said. "Rugby league has the capacity to create communities and teach a child honesty and discipline." The club is inviting businesses to get behind their young players by entering their raffle. The raffle offers businesses the chance to win up to $10,000 of advertising on team uniforms and merchandise. Club representatives will also be visiting businesses in the coming months to sell raffle tickets. Brown said the funds raised would go towards developing junior players and running the senior competition. "The quality we offer at the Liverpool Titans will allow young players to progress," he said. "As a local club we also want to do our part in supporting surrounding businesses." SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CLUB TICKETS: $100 (tax deductible) DRAWN: Wednesday, January 25, 12.30pm, at the Leader office DETAILS: Darcy Brown on 0416 630 888 or darcy@liverpooltitans.com * 1st prize, valued at $10,000, includes your company logo on first and reserve grade sleeve, shorts and senior trainer/runners shirts * 2nd prize, valued at $5000, includes your company logo on playing shorts and senior trainer/runners shirts * 3rd prize, valued at $2500, includes your company logo on internet banner advertisement and Facebook Edited by DevelopmentCoach, Sep 21 2011, 03:59 PM.

Mate if you know Darcy, you'll know that he can bring in the sponsors - he will sell a truckload of those tickets. You'll see the prizes are for shorts/sleeve sponsors - that's because they have upgraded to major sponsors for 2012, which gives opportunity to bring more local business on board. |

2012 was all rumour and innuendo. We are still building towards Bundy Cup, but won't go into it half heartedly. We need to build the sponsors, the player base, the junior club and the community first. All in all, its exciting times at the Titans. |
