Grothe will not play for ESA, probably just turn up to have a look as his playing days are over if he could be bothered. You would have more chance of Dunley joining his brother at East Campbelltown than RSL. Also he is an ESA junior so unless he went to ESA he is not going back to his roots. As much as I would love all this "information" to be true, you have more chance of a combined comp than a Wests comp with the names you have mentioned...... Good luck. |

Why would Penrith want to merge with Wests ? they have more teams than you can poke a stick at and why would Wests want to send it's teams all over the place to play there (Katoomba,Windsor ect). Parramatta is the best option and is still a strong comp without all the travel.

It's hard to believe, even Dad couldn't believe it until he phoned his mate, it shows the competition is in a desperate state, the Canterbury call was too late, dad said his mate from Parra comp said they will not play there teams in Wests area so that's why they got ruled out, leaving Penrith, honestly what supporters are going to support there local team playing in Penrith, I think it's a bit different highlander, that most Group 6 clubs are a stones throw from the Campbelltown area, Camden, Narellan, Picton, Thirlmere, The Oaks and Oakdale, easy to get to. |

I wonder what there back up plan is when this fails ??? Why is it so hard for the jl to just hand the seniors over to group 6 and is that still an option ??? Maybe the Carlton league is next ??? Hahaha |

West clubs would have to be voted in by the clubs as we all where and the chances of that happening is buckleys, they all had thier chance at that but stood back and wanted to play in the UFC so its off to parra, canterbury, penrith, carlton league wherever they end up i cant keep up where they are going reading on here my club wont be voting for them thats for sure and i know the other 2 clubs wont either they should have to have a train/play ground in Group 6 also as we all had to do.PS - we will still use thier juniors as a feeder comp though

I am absoloutly filthy, I read this forum often as its a great tool for information, and what i read Friday arvo has pissed me off, Peolpe liek Beefa that talk utter do-do but there is a number of people on this forum that make sence and what they say is on the mark, This talk about Penrith, I thought here we go another joke! dont get me wrong, we have made a crystly clear that we will be applying to Group 6 2012, but this is what has made my blood boil, My sister is involved with St Marys at Penrith, she attended a Penrith Junior League Forum today, only to phone me tonight saying is my club coming to Penrith to play, your freaking joking I said, who told you that, she said it was at the Penrith junior Meeting. Appareently all our Wests Clubs have been told, and we said we are happy to travel to Penrith, BULLSHIT we are, we also apparently said we are happy to play our 18's in their under 19's Competition, BULLIT we are. and get this ALL CLUBS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND HAPPY TO PLAY IN PRNRITH, I want to know where did this do-do come from, was it th Chairman of the senior comp? PLEASE EXPLAIN MR HARVEY, or was it the Chairman or CEO from the Wests Junior? PLEASE EXPLAN, Frig me, go to friggan penrith, what next |

The remaining teams which isn't many don't have a choice, Dad said the other competitions could easy take us in, Canterbury and Parramatta, but what has happened with the Group 6 management has other areas concerned, putting it nicely, no one wants to deal with this area! Penrith is the areas only hope, what club are you from LM, we thought it had to be ESA, but if we are wrong that would make 3 clubs gone, ESA, Collies and LM club, all wests JL southern clubs jumping the closest border, where does this leave Liverpool clubs? Penrith Only, Garuntee they will lose players and possibly there senior teams, will the JL ever concede defeat? No Way |

Dear Mr Life Member - I have nothing to do with the running of the WESTS JL. I am Chairman of the ALL SAINTS senior teams (A Grade & A Reserves) NOT WESTS. I, as was a representative from each Wests JL club, on a Wests Management Committee that only proposed ideas to the Wests JL Board on the set up the 2011 competition. I do not make decisions re WESTS JL - that is done by the Wests JL Board. I only make decisions re ALL SAINTS. |

With all these rumours of wests jrl planning on joining the canterbury comp now the penrith comp shows the lack the confidence they have in running a comp on their own again and having team numbers to do so. Why else would they be shopping around so soon after the completion of this years comp if what had been said is true?

Hard to believe isnt it Stu, I thought to myself not a chance, I just called my mate at Penrith Brothers and he assured me that this was bought up at the Penrith Junior League meeting yesterday, I could sit back and laugh my guts out but this wont help Senior Rugby League in the Campbelltown area, I also have no doubt all this is just to stop, some call the defecting clubs, I prefere to call the promoting clubs, coming back into the area Wests Junior League having a so called comp, wether combined with Penrith, is to stop us coming back into Campbelltown. Just the facts, we have already booked our training and playing grounds through Camden Council for 2012, we have no interest in coming back and we are happy training and playing on great facilities that have been offered to us. we know where we are for 2012, not like teh rest of the Wests clubs that now have no idea and makes it hard to plan and organise players. All that has been posted on this forum and the Promoting clubs seems to be doing the right thing for the game!
