i am absolutly disgusted in how the local wests jrl portray themselves and leave good hard working volunteers out to dry with no information on its senior plans from year to year and i am writing a letter to David Gallop to express my disgust at how club volunteers and committee members are treated
it is an utter disgrace wests jrl can not even give an insight to when the agm is to be held and as disco mentioned how are clubs meant to promote for upcoming seasons??? imagine trying to get sponsors and they ask where are you playing? how many teams in your comp? enough is enough its time to make a stand i am writing a letter and seeking signatures of support for a petition that the wests jrl board be over thrown for the better of the game in ctown if you would like to sign it in support please pm me details
i will also be ringing around today to nswrl and the nrl to speak to whom ever i can to see why this treatment of volunteers is allowed to take place and then ill be ringing ray hadley also who i am sure will love to hear the plight of volunteers and the way they are treated by west jrl
this BS has gone on to long i am sick of reading about my local teams also playing out of thier own area at the spite of wests jrl who can have them back at any time and co exist with there 5 team modeocor throw together comps i am filthy and will be making a stand i have plenty of support already and will even rally a march up to wests jrl head quarters and demand answers if no are forth coming in the next few days
if you are a club volunteer then please join me and lets do whats best for rugby league in ctown once and for all

Count us in, we have a number of guys upset of the way they had been treated this year, happy to rally the guys. This was tried before with Blue devil and his mob, didnt come out well, as they where hoping to get the backing of club secretarys. that will never work as 99 percent of club secretaries are gutless, our club included. but doing it this way I suppose will highlight the problems to the media and may even push the Commission to hurry up. Im sure there will be a huge interest from the likes of channel 7, 9 and 10 news, if you can rally 1000 people and end up on the door of Wests leagues you will be heard, Good Luck and we will be there.

What dad doesn't understand and me too, why don't you guys get your clubs to fight at the next AGM, doesn't the members run the clubs? So many people on here are pissed of with the Junior League, and that they have failed too many times trying to run a senior comp, club secretaries might finally jump up and down when they hear the money that has been waisted trying to prop up a comp to keep the Eagles out, Dad said thats all it's about, he said they would be happy to let the Roos play but couldn't handle Blue Devil with another victory.

I had a beer at Ingleburn RSL Club when i bumped into a player from the Minto premiership winning team, he told me Minto will be lucky to get a senior team next year, he said Reserve Grade struggled, they have nothing in the 18's to bring up and the first grade boys are going to Valley next year, he said they will link up with some boys from the Amway Titans that is also heading to Valley, is there going to be any team from south of the Wests juniors, no Bulldogs, no minto, no tigers, just a Liverpool competition, and ESA, Collies and two Campbelltown clubs gone to group 6, Warrior 78, will you guys survive without the help from Concord Tigers? its obvious on what clubs get looked after, all liverpool clubs

I sound like a broken record everytime people on here say that whole clubs from wests jrl are going to certain group 6 clubs, when will people realise that there is a points system in place in group 6 that prevents stacking and loading teams from players within and outside the district. Maybe 1-5 players max but two whole squads of players ??now thats ridiculous. :cstars:

Out of district Players are I read 10 points so even 13 players from one club is only 130 points third grade I also read is 180 points so 1st and res must be more so maybe it deos allow blue devil knows the point system well maybe he can tell us

valley team really starting to take of and grow momentem looks like the livo pirates and captian brown could be looking at a muteny and all his troopers off to the the valley side alot of locals say the boys just couldnt get with his out there style and pep talks and overweight players favoured in certain positions plus alot upset he let the grand final slip away with all his changes on the day so all saints and other clubs need not worry the pirates wont be the super club the claim to be for a long time and 2012 will see valley return as the premier livo club
watch for a little pemiership winning genereal and a band of merry men to follow him to valley
pirates have been ringing around trying desperatly to recruit the dregs from wests clubs that are disbanding living up to the pirates true calling

beefa can claim all he wants but a secretary in the know says it will be a combined comp with another distrcit as not enough teams will form up for a 6 team comp

Have the clubs been informed when the AGM is on?
When will clubs know what format the comp will take next year?

Well your saying two grades will be filled so for arguments sake its 24 players give or take at 10 points each its 240 points. Then you have to realise the points clubs have already accrued with the their current playing rosters. 300 points is allowable for first and reserve grade then 50 points per grade there after (u/18s & 3rd grade) or 180 points for a stand alone team. Now this may have changed now i'm out of the loop but thats how its been.

From what I hear it's collies who if not successful in a bid to affiliate to group 6 will look at going to appin a core bunch of players anyway and most who didn't play with collies last year but years previous
How's training up there appin boys you guys been quiet since the sausage sizzle not reply to how that went?

Group 6 may change the points with all the influx of wests players wanting in who knows but be no good for the game to turn them all away surely

going to 1st grade are you guys confident in what you had this year and just looking at filling reserve grade and where will you get players from :dunno: i hope it all works well and the 40 pointer is signed up after all posts last year on him being the savior and sponsor puller i hope he is getting the $$$$ he deserves :correct: :correct: :correct:

well,
news to me , Glen Debono good mate of mine and coaches my boy at collies and have not heard that any of them are coming soon.
Glen , anyway is linked with city and helped with coaching staff there this year and is good mates with Meville, so if collies was to have allegiance you would sway to city would you not. We are probably likely to have a few players here and there. If collies were on the march to Appin I gave my number to Ronnie who claims they will have players coming here , but have had no reply to that. Also my son played with the collies last 9 years excluding this year and knows many of the boys there and he ain't heard anything of a mass rebellion to Appin either.
In summing up I still know lot's of people at collies and have only heard rumours , such as you probably have. If there is any essence in the rumour tell whoever to pm me and I will gladly respond to fact or fiction.
As for being quiet since our BBQ, of course plenty to do and to the couple of people that work damn hard to try and achieve an outcome and promote Appin up in grades WELL DONE(DOGGIES GIRL).
For all the knockers, if Appin make 1st grade, reserves or 2nd division it will make no difference to a lot of people, cause all you do is put s- - t on those people and the club anyway's.
So in summing up, everybody will find out soon enough if, who, when, and how Appin will achieve whatever.
It takes a lot of work , time and effort as well as good support in sponsorship, volunteers and committee's so stay posted
as I can assure all, Appin Club is trying damn hard, what more can you ask for, RESPECT.

i think its common knowledge every one on here has wished you well in pushing up to 1st grade and the appin club in general :correct: robbo's question although has merit in regards to asking if the 40 point player the club posted around last season as a spring board marquee player to attract players and sponsors has in fact been resigned :dunno: if he has surley your club would want it promoted and once again use him as the face of the club :correct: id hate to see him walk away after the effort put in him by the club and most of all doggiesgirl and her tireless work and defence of this player was wasted for him to walk out on the club :finger:

good luck to appin once again i am sure you guys are on track for our ambitions

Merely generalised ctownlad!.
My main reply was about the Collies and the so called march down into Appin. lol
I know that a lot of people support Appin and their quest to achieve.
I thank all of those who do.
The question of players (who/are) in is not for me to answer so , leave i'll that to Doggiegirl and the Coach Jarvo............ Im sure they will let everyone know soon enough.

No pROB Westie,
just thought i'd let you know what I knew of it.
By the way he was the coach of 3rd grade at collies when they were there in 2010, he hasn't played in a long while himself
and was not a part of the collies fateful night out.
Haven' t heard of any such falling out as such.

Appinboyz i think westie is referring to 40 point player Pita...no falling out with our club...I believe he has family issues he needs to sought, he only played 9 out of the 18 club games with us in 2011 and he has not signed with our club as yet for 2012...

Appin have 3 Major sponsors who will be revealed on our all new updated and renovated web page shortly, in the process of much needed facelift ...these sponsors are there as they want to see our club grow not because Pita may or may not be playing for our club in 2012. even though we do hope he does comit fully to our club and remain for next season...

On the grape vine talks of a club house built on top of existing club house by local buisnesses (something similar to what picton have) is on the cards for 2013 and council has not said no to a fence. All this rides on Appin growing and stepping up..s

Appin are still looking for more players to play for our club next season 1st reserves and 18s and are presently in talks with a couple of profile players..if you know of anyone looking for a club or a comp to play in please send them our way. vickiomullane@live.com.au or 0423 973 946..
