Interesting words Bobcat, my question is how would you know a meeting was held at council, and if so i would think the Mayor would be rather upset knowing that your on here portraying that you know all about it, or are you currently on council Bobcat??????

Reading the story in the Advertiser, is the whole ESA senior club leaving the Wests area, if this is so, Dad said this months ago and he would be right again. And he has said the Jarvo from Collies has done the same going to Appin, why wouldn't Wests do something to keep these players at these clubs playing in Group 6? They don't mind losing players do they, actually they don't even care!

Like I said some time ago our club isn't interested in fielding seniors, too much work and senior players all seem to think the volunteers owe them the world for playing for their club. WRONG, we all do it for the kids, not bludging blokes. Anyway I'm still a little bit bitter from our experience in the mid-2000s and it's probably different at other clubs.
Not good at letting things go, anyway
Can someone tell me why the lack of brains trust at Wests JL have taken 3 mediocre grades and tried to turn them into 4 grades? Obviously as soon as they can't get enough teams in one grade they can offload the remaining teams to Parra or the Canterbury/Tigers/Dragons comp would be my take on events.
Well done Bulls, great story go- getters and the type of club people not allowed to get too big or successful in Wests, cant have any super clubs now tut-tut :finger: :finger:
Fielding Seniors is easy if you do it correctly, our seniors have been part of our senior base for many years, these guys are all ready to go for 2012 and are looking forward to teh challange ahead  you need a good senior base for your juniors to look up to, my son that is 13 already talks of wanting to play 1st Grade for the Eagles, so he knows after junior footy he has somewhere to play if they dont go any higher and its a very small percentage that makes NRL. :correct:

So giving the kids a semi proffesional competition gives him somewhere he can play, I would not want my son to play in Wests A Grade, I done it for many years and I wish our club had played in Group 6 back then, This year I played was the cleanest and best competition I have played in for a long long time, thats what seniors are all about! :correct:

Just for the record fencesitter the whole senior club is NOT going just a handful of players from the 18's and seniors. :D

I suppose when you put it like that I would have to agree :$ Although it is only 1 coach :finger:
ESA will still be fielding 18's, and seniors as far as I am aware so we haven't depleted them of a senior club.

Oh and there is not a whole team of 18's leaving the club, there are a handful of players who are leaving for 2 reasons, one being so that they can play under their former coach and the other being that they want to play good competition footy each week. :)

He we go again, we dont need to merge, we have good hard working volunteers and they have the game in good hands, Darcy is doing a great job and there is no shame to see guys like Darcy take over running the comp, you blokes would all sit there and do-do on the Wests Juniors if no one put there hand up to have a go, take my hat off to Julie and the Boys for giving him ago. Kepp your head up Darc, dont worry about these blokes that cant wait to jump when things look a little hard. Watch Warriors pull the Eagles apart and watch Minto to destroy the Kangaroos, and we have already taken care of the Macarthur Cows, no grass to chew on at PCYC, get that into you Hellyeh, footymum and croonies
nice from you wazza  maybe not using your nickname would help hide who you are  i use to feel sorry for your comp but it shows with people like you involved is why it is in the shape it is today :finger:
who's the next tim le fai wazza haha warrior junior couldnt play haha

Eagle Vale club must be upset with the players and coach leaving but not as upset as the 2 members that attended the senior meeting with no permission from club directors, they have called for the 2 guys that have made decissions at this meeting to front the committee, it looks like the Junior League needed some sort of support from Eagle Vale to keep the senior meeting positive, it has backfired like a 60 model VW and Eagle Vale are pissed, they look like having 1 under 18's team losing 3 senior teams, now the new committee want to send the 1 under 18's team to Group 6.
A protest march is being organised for all clubs and players that want to display the dissapointment in the Junior League, We will bring back Group 6 to the greater Cambelltown region. a date in February for a picket at Campbelltown Council lawn and then a March to the Junior League office. This will be a peaceful protest with organiszers contacting local authorities and sydney media, We must have 1000 members to make a stand, I'm not just an old gereatric fart, I feel for what these clubs and region has gone through COME MARCH WITH US

Dad has a very good source within ESA, he did mention something similar regarding the ESA committee, sounds like they may finally stand up to the Junior League with a new committee, that march sounds fun, I'll get the guys from school

Ah its funny to sit back and look at some of the rubbish & miss informed comments on this forum. But, Chez your so far from the truth in regards to the 2 ESA members present at the meeting, they were made welcome by all and signed the registry. They were there to participate with good intentions. I also recall one of them putting there hand up to be on the seniors committee, to help. So where ever your info is coming from, well its further from the truth. Speaking fact and not fiction, that's what makes a healthy forum!

So True Grassboots, these blokes get on here stirring the pot, ESA committee unlike other clubs do what they are told, you may have the minority simple minded self cented people that have done there best to destroy the senior club at ESA as they only care about themselves. Nothing was wrong with the delegates that attended the senior meeting the other night, they dont need permission from there committee to attend, anyone can attend.
