Hard to disagree, for such a big jnr nursey to see the JL go from 2010 how many teams there where to what it is today is a shame but at least we have Eagles,Roos and the Bulls representing the area and being based out of the area has done us all no harm that was mentioned as the intention of certain few Since this forum put it out about West's to Penrith i personally have fielded 3 calls of inquiries about how to start a new club and affiliate to Group 6 and what grounds are available, as well as player inquiries for both 18s and seniors, i wont say who has enquired but they know who they are and are forum regulars some of them On a different note sponsorship for the Bulls is on the up for 2012 some good hard work by new recruit Parra great signing for us and last years sponsors committing also - off season not far off we are building nicely

If wests jrl senior comp is on the " way up " then why can't they sustain & build what comp they had this year instead of merging with an another area ? |

Because players are leaving in droves, I have a lot of mates especially in the 18's and everyone you talk to says they won't be playing Wests Seniors, one year was enough, and it looks like City, East and Bulls made the right decission |

Anyone out there disagree? I must add Wests Tigers have a lot to answer for this as well, they seem to be pretty close with the Juniors, Dad is guttered that the Magpies could be gone, another avenue lost for our locals, both have great vision in Senior Rugby League in Campbelltown, anyone disagree? |

Its not on the way up Disco Stu, it's on the way out, Just watch the way they will try and organise 2012, it sounds like they have already made a move to Penrith, but that's a no brainer. I can see nothing happening till the end of march, when they say "hey we have no competition" It's clubs like ours that has to make it or lose it, glad to hear Titans have made an approach, didnt think it would take long for them to jump, see you at the next group 6 AGM. Still cant get over Penrith, has anyone heard such garbage, and why not give the clubs to Group 6, they did put an offer on the table for 2012, didnt they. |

Ok, lets leave the personal stuff out of this and comment on the proposed new competition. Why has Canterbury & Parramatta who are closer to the wests/liverpool district said no thanks to a merger and you have to go further a field to Penrith ? |

When I mentioned Titans I was referring to the players, a number of players have seeked to go else where, including my club, if the Titans are in a Wests Comp or Penrith Combined competition, obviously players know we are headed to Group 6, if we stayed in Wests who would we be playing?

Ok, lets leave the personal stuff out of this and comment on the proposed new competition. Why has Canterbury & Parramatta who are closer to the wests/liverpool district said no thanks to a merger and you have to go further a field to Penrith ? From what I here Canterbury point blank said NO, Parramatta said yes but we have no home games on our fields and Penrith said yes and they will let us have home games on our grounds. Why be so angry for Beefa, you cant stop player movement, you can assist it by making players happy, thats all we are doing. looking forward to 2012, All Saints and Titans travelling to Katoomba

Canterbury now have a combined competition with 3 areas, mostly inner city, their combined comp has been successful and the last thing they need is a spanner in the works. They would still take the Eagles though, our club was very popular over there. Parramatta competition doesn’t have a problem with the lower grades, its A Grade teams they would be wanting and the Eagles and Roos are Group 6 clubs, with no one else in the Campbelltown area that could compete against the likes of Wenty and Cabra. Parramatta wouldn’t be interested in lower grades and those lower grade clubs surely would refuse to travel to Campbelltown. That leaves Penrith, Penrith last year offered to take Wests teams in but will the same offer be on the table this year? and what will the wests clubs and players say when it is put to them Lastly Beefa, we had a number of people on this forum giving it to us and our clubs, where are they now? That’s right! They have endured a season of Wests A Grade and now you don’t see them sprucing or giving it to us. They understand why we left and it won’t be long before you are in a position that will leave you in "nowhere land" ironically certain people quoted in the media about us and the Roos “I fell for their players as they will be left with nowhere to play”, the shoe is on the other foot now! Your pathetic tirades are embarrassing for you, your club and the Wests area, Pull your head in Edited by Blue Devil, Sep 27 2011, 06:25 PM.

I'm getting very confused here I thought West's vision this year was to run a strong, vibrant comp in 2011? What happened Beefa/Bobcat? Then the comp was going to go from strength to strength in 2012, with clubs begging to play in Wests? What happened Beefa/Bobcat? Then we heard from you that the joint Group 6/Wests was going to be back on in 2012 because "higher powers" were going to MAKE Group 6 do it. What happened Beefa/Bobcat? ![]() Then the big announcement that Wests would join with Canterbury for a comp in 2012. What happened Beefa/Bobcat? ![]() In the same week you announce that Wests are joining Penrith for the 2012 season. Beefa/Bobcat I keep asking what happened to these other plans and you won't or can't give me any answers, just some babbling rant about Blue Devil, cronies, traitorous clubs & white-anting. Can I just get a sensible answer without the histrionics, ranting and frothing at the mouth? Surely it can't be that hard to explain the situation to everyone on this forum and I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants a straight answer? Edited by Black&White, Sep 27 2011, 09:37 PM.
