most definitely struggle town.
injury toll is crippling, but once again no excuses. We'll fight our way out.
Keep kicking tc cause like u said plenty of time u can't win the comp in July true I'm pretty sure u guys will be there cause thirlmere looked flat today u guys were a much better side last week not dis on rooster they have to power but we shut them down plus what's the go with their point they still didnt show again today what's everyone else thoughts ont this
Any club can have as many pointed players as they like, its just they need to play under their points on gamedays. So thirlmere on paper may have players worth a lot of points but doesn't mean they have to play them all at games.

Bowral still struggling for a win

STILL struggling for numbers, Bowral faced an understrength Campbelltown eagles yesterday at Loseby Park but still could not find a win, going down 42-14.
Bowral had a strong first half and were in the match up until the second half.

They went to the break trailing 12-10 and with a couple of players on the bench, they appeared to be in a good position.

Sean Chapman and Dean Smith crossed the line for Bowral with halfback Todd Fairbairn converting one goal.

But when the Eagles kicked into gear in the second half, Bowral could not keep up and their only points came through Christian Lotter early in the half.

A few injuries didn't help Bowral's cause and with things getting a bit physical in the second half, Smith along with an eagles player were sent to the sin bin.

Bowral coach Randall Laughton said while the effort was there, he still didn't know what the answer was.

"It was a good first half. We were right in it and I think their fitness and their experience showed more than our guys. We were just so unfit what can I say," he said.

"We're trying to hang in there. The guys are trying hard. If you're trying and having a go well that's all we can do, it's frustrating."

In his first game back in about 25 years, Dean Chapman proved an asset for Bowral, bulldozing his way through the Eagles defence.

"I thought he did extremely well. The little halfback Todd (Fairbairn) worked well and the centre Harto (Josh Hartin) worked well."

This Saturday, Bowral will face Jamberoo away with an early match and Laughton said he hoped they could field a full team.

"10.45am on a Saturday morning I wouldn't be confident we'd get a full side so who knows, we'll see what happens."

If Chappo is having a run times are tuff!!! Campbell well stu you know he will play to 100 he dont even know what retirement is!!!!

Being a ex player at Bowral its hard seeing whats going on there!!

But lets be honest 10 45am Saturday at Jamberoo considering no other club has played at Jamberoo but Bowral will twice is a tad tough!! Surely it should have been at Played at Robbo on Sunday!!!

ive only seen eagles twice this year and thought they were lucky to have beat jets. to say they should be playing bundy is laughable... any top 5 team is capable of beating any other team on there day. mittagong are the best team ive seen play this year. but i dont think they could play bundy!!!!!!!!

Group 6 rugby league competition brings out the big players

Macarthur Chronicle

CAMPBELLTOWN Eagles continued their dominance of the 2012 CRL Group 6 competition with a 62-8 thrashing of Thirlmere at Kirkham Park on Sunday.

As the competition passed the half-way mark, the Eagles continue to look the team to beat with their undefeated run in first grade. Mittagong is four points behind, and firmed their reputation as a credible challenger with a 32-16 win over Oakdale.

In a nail-biter at Victoria Park, Picton and Camden couldn't break their deadlock and had to be content with a 22-22 draw. The Eagles, Mittagong, Thirlmere/Tahmoor and Narellan round out the top four.

When east came to camden to take on us (rams) we nearly beat them and to be honest i think we might get the better of them in the next match up in 4 weex time to be honest they didnt offer much we just didnt play well on the day, i also hear mittagong were in front one stage in there matchup earlier in the year, haha so whoever you are kahoona man they have a long way to go, you cant win the grand final in july champ, its a repeat of last year, they will just choke choke choke!!!! Go rams. :winner: :winner:

I'm tipping an Eagles v Mitta Grand Final with Mitta running out winners in a tight game. But I think that Oakdale will be up there and may upset the apple cart.
