How good is it to see Footymums selected team of All Stars get hammered on the weekend, they where great bashing the opposition in the WEAK Wests Junior League, and now they cant make the semis in Group 6, hahahaha, we may be in the ICCC division 2 but your team wouldnt make the ICCC Division 3. You wouldnt of won the Grand Final last year if it wasnt for the incompetant Wests Junior league that should of dealt with your team accordingly. Antonio hasnt done nothing for you and that makes me laugh, as much as i am so annoyed with the no idea wests junior league that cant run a competition even if they recieved $300,000, your team's "I'm so good we cant smash Group 6 attitude" has made my season, early year for you 18player. who next year?
I agree to an extend, alot of talk at start of season and they have failed to have an impact on the comp.
Well I don't, no need for this kind of garbage to be posted .
Again Ronny facts are something you don't seem to care about when you type your garbage
We have never had a "I'm so good we can smash them in group 6 attitude"
We do not have a selected team of all stars. 5 of our players didn't even play last year.
Yes we might not make the semis but we have played the competitive footy every week unlike the comp that you complain about in the west thread. If it helps you to get over last years grand final which you obviously cant I'm more than happy to let you borrow a medallion to wear for a while.

Your right disco there is no need for this garbage....... Ronny has brought nothing intelligent or worth discussing to this forum at all..... he does nothing but personally attack my players and I and makes me wonder why I would even bother to volunteer in a sport that has people like him involved.

We are obviously talking about the Macarthur Bulls 18's, You can see they are struggling, what people have to realize is that Group 6 is a very tough competition in all Grades, thats why the majority of Wests Clubs just cant handle the week in week out grind that Group 6 offers, Eagle vale had all but two teams that gave them a run last year with the other teams either forfieting or getting hammered by 100, Group 6 is much harder and that shows that footymums boys are getting left behind and probably missing out on a semi final spot. I do find it hard to watch Macarthur Bulls 18's and they do have the West Junior League mentality, every time they do a big hit they cheeeeooooooo (i think thats what we are calling it) and jump around like tools, but they dont realise that the game goes for and hour not a 2 second hit. not bagging the young fellahs but they are not as good as they think they are, the results are showing just that. I would suspect that Group 6 will be a one of thing for these guys as they wouldnt be able to handle lossing to well and will probably be taking on Ronny's Collieboys and next years ICCC second division. I couldnt see them step up and play in a possible Macarthur Bulls 1st Grade team in 2013, we will wait and see what young man have the gonads to play 1st Grade or Reserve Grade
Your actaully right in a couple of ways mate. The cheeoo hooo and carrien on your talking about, is a Minority of the team that carry on after a big hit like that, but I hate it just as much. But saying we're not as good as we think we are ? I'll agree with you and say were not as good of a TEAM as we thought we would be, but when we were actually playing good footy as a team, we beat the group 6 rep side at the start of the year ? So think it's a bit far saying how much better the group 6 boys are to us FORMER west boys.

I'd say the Group as a whole is pretty strong and having an outsider team of sorts come in and struggle with the style of league played shows how the brand is a light year ahead of it's little cousin in district junior league run by WT.
FACT :- WSDJRL run the junior competions.

South West Corridor Macrthur League 2013 will be West Tigers run.

Please stick to facts people.

Pies take advantage of wounded Lions

BY LAUREN WRIGHT

11 Jul, 2012 12:00 AM
http://www.southernhighlandnews.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/pies-take-advantage-of-wounded-lions/2620633.aspx

MITTAGONG Lions string of wins came to an end on Sunday with a 40-34 loss against Picton. The Lions were in control for most of the match before Mark Delamont was sin binned with 10 minutes to go for comments made to the referee. It was in those final minutes the Magpies stormed home to take the two points.

The Lions also lost both Brayden Groth and Matt Thorpe to injury throughout the match.Mittagong coach Scott Borg said he was disappointed by the performance.

"I don't know what happened. It felt like we were in control and they came through in the last couple of minutes," he said.

"We bombed some opportunities, we dropped ball on our line and let them score easy tries. We were outplayed on the day."

They were ahead 20-16 at halftime, with Borg and Saxon Sell both crossing the line twice.

Warwick Carter, Matt Thorpe and Ricky Garard also scored for the Lions.

"I was pretty disappointed with the game, we didn't really turn up. It's not often you score 34 points and get beaten. We missed a whole heap of goals and the boys are all disappointed with their efforts," Borg said.

The Lions still remain second on the ladder and face seventh placed Camden at home this Sunday. The Rams still have a chance of making the semi-finals and Borg said they would need to improve their defence.

"If our defence doesn't improve the same thing could happen again."

More heartbreak for Bundanoon

BY LAUREN WRIGHT

11 Jul, 2012 12:00 AM
http://www.southernhighlandnews.com.au/news/local/sport/rugby-league/more-heartbreak-for-bundanoon/2620632.aspx

MACARTHUR Bulls are a strong, physical and intimidating team. And there's no doubting that they are the benchmark for the second division competition at the moment. So any teams who come up against them are in for a tough match, which is exactly what Bundanoon got on Sunday. While the team fought till the final whistle, they were on the wrong end of an 84-0 scoreline.

Bundanoon coach Brett Breeze said while it was not their best defensive performance of the season, there was not much they could do against such a quality team.

"We didn't help ourselves with our defence but in my opinion Macarthur Bulls are playing at a level well beyond second division," he said.

"They're a big, strong, mobile side who are well above second division for sure which makes it hard to compete against them. To the boys credit they never stopped trying but they're playing at a whole other level."

Other teams who have struggled in second grade have called their match off at half time against the Bulls, but Breeze said he was proud of his team for playing the entire match.

"It was just about the boys not giving up. You get pretty much bashed and we came away with a few injuries, but we completed the whole game."

Bundanoon will face Campbelltown Eagles this weekend and Breeze said he was looking for an improvement from his team after they were beaten by them 66-20 in their last meeting.

"It's another tough one but the boys have still got their heads up and still keen to get out there and put it (Sunday's loss) behind them. If we can reduce the scoreline again I'd be happy."

With the Eagles in third spot, Breeze said they could beat them depending on what team turned up on the day.

"You don't know what team you're going to get. It depends on the side you play on the day."

In the second division match between Robertson and Mount Annan on Sunday, the Spuds never broke a sweat taking home the two points due to a forfeit.

Bulls back to best on stamping grounds

BY SEAN CUNNINGHAM

11 Jul, 2012 12:00 AM

Macarthur Bulls Rugby League Football Club is having a great season in the Group 6 Second Division this year.
The Bulls are unbeaten after 11 games played this season and sit at the top of the ladder.

Recently returning to train in the Campbelltown area, the Bulls conduct their weekly sessions at James Meehan Oval, Macquarie Fields but still play most home games at Sid Sharpe Memorial Oval, Oakdale.

Hoping to secure Milton Park, Ingleburn, as a home venue next year, the Bulls players know their way to the try line, having amassed 454 points in this year's competition.

And the defensive line-up is also playing its part in a successful season for the Bulls, with only 72 points conceded against them.

Their most recent victory was a 84-0 thrashing over Bundanoon on Sunday.

This season the Bulls also entered an under-18 team into the competition.

They are only a few wins outside a finals' berth.

Club president Matt Hughes was pleased that the 2012 season had been a "big turnaround from last year".

Mate 2nd year in as a club give some credit - we have near identical side to last year with only one of our guys played Group 6 1st grade last year the rest thirds or Agrade comps, average age of the side is 33 we train once a week punch bungas like there going extinct and are as unfit as any other 2nd division side, will take the 1st grade jibes all day long as Appin did last year no sweat of our backs we know our level and where we are at and couldnt give a do-do what anyone thinks especially keyboard cowboys on this site. We will keep going about our buisness having fun no matter what.

More heartbreak for Bundanoon

BY LAUREN WRIGHT

Maybe Bundy should have stayed in Union land, they have had some big scores put on them this year.
