BD I remember watching an old All Saints V Eagles G/F with you. It had Shannon Gallant in it and a couple of your current players. If you or TD want to drop it in at any time I can upload that game too.
Yes Maverick that would be great, we will catch up soon.

And next week I will be interviewed on a Radio station regarding the Magpies situation, I'll give forum followers full details in Tuesday so they can listen in, Should be interesting!

just a quick one ive payed for camden for 7 years in the seniors, i played for ingleburn bulldgogs from 9's till 14s i use to live there then played 2 years at collies becasue my mates played there and after that had no where to go it was like my only option was a grade in west comp which was more like playing a game of footy with 30 year olds who wanna take ya head off with young refs who were intimdated by anyone who had a tattoo or were bigger then them. so i decided to go play at camden in the under 18s and played a very fast and quality season of football for 2 years then once i finished there i made my way into reggies and now im 1st grade player and ive gotta say i dont regret ever leaving west comp it was the worst run competition ive ever seen and would recommend to anyone whos involed to get out and play for a group 6 team. as much as i hate the eagles and city and mac bulls becasue there ctown sides. i give full credit to them for getting out of the disgraceful comp that is ran like a broffle they obviously had a brain and new they were going backwards playing there so they used there brain and joined group 6 and to be honest a much as i hate these teams i love nothing more then turning up and playing them becasue you no that no matter what there not there to take your head off or be grubs they are there to play to there full potential in a comp that they take pride in and they no that at the end of the day its a competition that is ran by smart people and looks after there juniors and puts goals in place so that players have places to go when they hit 16, and 18 instead of being forced to just jump into a grade with 30 yr old men. becasue i no so many people that had the potential to go places but instead quit becasue they had no where to go in the west comp.............. everyone is entitled to a opinion so this is mine. so all in all if campbeltown comp wants to be successful the key for it to succed is to demolish the commitee and start fresh with a new commitee and maybe buy someone that runs penrith comp or roosters comp or something just someone who has experience and good knowledge with juniors and a good footy brain and who wants juniors to go through the ranks becasue as we all no its a disgrace to see all the now and ex nrl players who were ctown juniors but due to not being noticed had to go elsewhere in orrder to be noticed so they then went to manly, melbourne, parramatta, bulldogs, pentrith, dragons, brisbane and pretty much all nrl teams because unlike west comp other clubs wanted young talent. so if my message is still unclear to people ill make it shorter to get it through to you GET RID OF YOU NO WHO AND THERE WILL BE SUCCESS IN CAMPBELLTOWN........... its simple..............
Agree agree agree.

Are looking at this weeks results it seems only Oakdale are able to sneak into the five now as Camden will have to keep winning and hoping for other results to go their way, the last round of Oakdale vs Camden should be a cracker if results fall Camden's way.

Mittagong are going along nicely and seem to be the team to unseat the Eagles but as anything can happen in the semis should make for a good semi finals series.

Lions destroy Rams
BY LAUREN WRIGHT
SOUTHERN HIGHLAND NEWS

BY the time the final whistle blew, Mittagong had players limping off the field, but their 48-12 victory over Camden Rams was certainly a consolation.

Both teams came into the match at less than full strength and it didn't get any easier for the Lions, losing Robbie Carter early in the match.

Brother Warwick Carter also struggled with an ankle injury he picked up in the previous match against Picton but battled through the pain to play the full 80 minutes.

In what was an outstanding performance in both attack and defence from Mittagong, Camden were held to just six points until the final minute of the match when they finally managed to cross the line again.

After a touch up against Picton, Lions coach Scott Borg said yesterday was a much better performance.

"It all came down to attitude. We fixed it up at training," he said.

Camden continue to fight for a finals spot and while the Lions are looking to secure second spot on the ladder Borg said thinking about semi-finals got to them the week before.

"I think that might have got into our heads a little bit heading into the Picton game, so Picton put us in our place."

Borg highlighted the performances of some of the younger members of the team, in particular halfback Matt Thorpe and fullback Ricky Garard.

"I thought everyone put in 100 per cent effort, even guys coming off the bench. We only had three players on the bench so it was a great all round effort."

This weekend, Mittagong face undefeated competition leaders Campbelltown Eagles.

Encouraging signs for the Lions however, are Zak Blackshaw and Ryan Borg who have resumed training and will most likely return within the next two weeks.

"We're playing against a team that hasn't been beaten (this) week so we're a long way off beating them. We've got a lot of work to do this week at training and hopefully we can get them this week and have everyone back on deck."

Slow start for Spuds in 30-0 win over Bargo Bunnies
SOUTHERN HIGHLAND NEWS

IT was a slow start for Robertson Spuds but they clicked into gear to beat Bargo Bunnies 30-0 on Saturday at Bundanoon.
In a tight first half, the Spuds were only able to cross the line once to lead 6-0 at the break.

But while the Bunnies did their best in the second half and appeared to have scored before they were ruled to have been held up, Robertson dominated to score 24 unanswered points.

The Spuds Aaron de Jager said while it was a good second half performance, they needed to put in a solid performance for the full 70 minutes.

"We started out a bit slow again which we seem to do every week but we came good in the second half. If we want to go deep in the finals we've got to start well in the first half so that's something to work on," he said.

With the Bunnies tiring towards the end of the match, Robertson took their chances and created a number of opportunities out wide.

De Jager said it was a good team performance, with the forwards setting up the backs well.

"All the forwards went forward well. Clarke Walker had another good game, Justin Day went well and Scott Shepherd went well. So all the forwards stepped up and laid the platform for the backs,

No worries TC, even though we hate you guys for beating us last year, we are all there to help each other, that's a good quality I have found within the Group 6 Clubs, hope everyone keeps that support for each other, anytime TC

They haven't updated the draws & fixtures on the group web site then.
being from the Picton club, i thought youd know
Easy mistake to make Tommy. It's been organized since April, so it is logical to assume that someone from Picton would know.
