Oakdale are playing Picton on the Saturday
Reserve Grade 3.30pm and First Grade 5pm
We are holding our first ever OLD BOYS DAY, it would be a good chance for everyone from yesteryear to catch up for a beer, and tell old war stories.
The day will be run in conjunction with our annual $10,000 major Raffle. Tickets are $25, the minor prizes are also a good catch.
They haven't updated the draws & fixtures on the group web site then.
being from the Picton club, i thought youd know
Easy mistake to make Tommy. It's been organized since April, so it is logical to assume that someone from Picton would know.
The updated draw was sent out at 2.49pm today as you well know

Once again, I'm not sure what your point is.

I was simply remarking that the two clubs involved knew about the game being on Saturday as far back as April.
TC can be forgiven for assuming that you are from the Picton club given you call yourself 'Black and White'. Obviously if you were you would've known.

I'm a novice when it comes to the use of emoticons but here goes:

By far the best performance of the year by us.
Probably the strongest team we've fielded all year, and Picton just weren't up to it. Oakdale running out winners 46-10. Congrats to our 2 props Dave Lowe and Lachlan Gray for scoring doubles. Further to that, Locky Gray had been in career best form, and for the 3rd time in 4 games took out the players player award.
Our reserve grade also got the chocolates for the first time since round 3 winning 20-10
Thanks to all who turned out for the old boys day, what a fantastic day, and your support was greatly appreciated.

Assuming Narellan lose to Eagles and Thirlmere then Picton need to beat Eagles to sneak into the semi's, otherwise it is Oakdale and Narellan taking up 4th and 5th spots.

Run into semi's:
Oakdale: Roos, bye, The Oaks & Camden
Picton: Eagles, Roos, bye
Jets: bye, Thirlmere, Eagles
Mittagong: Thirlmere, The Oaks, Roos
Thirlmere: Mittagong, Narellan, The Oaks

My prediction for top 5:
Eagles
Thirlmere
Mittagong
Oakdale
Narellan

Any debaters??

I agree thinking that picton was making a charge for finals then getting dusted by oakdale maybe they don't have it this year but there only one win out if oakdale lose to anyone I'm sure it would give picton the confidence to pick it up not sure though...
Gonna be a great final series but

The Campbelltown City seniors would like to congratulate two boys from the Ctown City u12's side - Henry Lealuga-Puhotau and Rua Ngati - for those who havent heard these boys made the NSW PRIMARY SCHOOL RL TEAM - from thousands of kids, trial matches and selections. Henry and Rua made the team of 17players!! Massive Achievement!!
Now, they are off to the NSW PSSA National Australian Titles, up in Mackay (Nth Qld) 4th-11th August...
The Senior club has raised $500 so far to help the boys and their families with the various costs involved.
We will be sending around a bucket this Sunday at Fullwood Reserve to raise more funds for the boys.

Campbelltown Eagles Media Release 22-7-2012

1st Grade Campbelltown Eagles 26 def Mittagong 16

On Sunday the Campbelltown Eagles played Mittagong in the top of the table clash at Waminda Oval. The enthusiastic crowed braved the miserable conditions but the teams made sure it was worth it with some big hits throughout the game. The Eagles Posted first points when Sean Connor showed plenty of speed to get outside his man to score out wide, the Conversion from Harding was unsuccessful, The Eagles then had Brett Lahey sent from the field for striking which left the Eagles to play the rest of the game with 12 men.
This didn’t deter the Eagles when they scored again next to the posts through Michael Bradstock and Harding converted for the Eagles to go to 10 nil, The Eagles hit back again straight away when Grant Lahey in support scored out wide, Harding missed the Conversion for the Eagles to go to 14-nil, Mittagong through centre Braiden Grote scored before the break and the conversion from Warwick Carter was successful and they went into the Break at 14-6
The second half became a tight tussle but the Eagles showed their strength through big Fred Tevega busting 3 defenders to score next to the posts and Will Dreves converted to make the Eagles 20-6, Mittagong replied with a try to Scott Borg 20 minutes remaining to give them an opportunity at 20-10 but the game was put in doubt when a clever kick from Sammy Hoare was put through to Will Dreves to score near the posts, Brayden Grote scored his second for Mittagong Lions to finish the game at 26-16, best for the Eagles where Samual Hoare, Wayde Dunley, and Michael Bradstock while the Men of the Match honours went to Sean Connor
Coach Richard Barnes said “I was pleased with the team’s efforts and especially being down to 12 men, Mittagong are a well drilled side and will be hard to beat come semis, they were down 4 players today and showed that they are a quality team.
